Jackie's house is lovely, spacious, and very clean. Jackie kept me updated with information and was very responsive. The house is just a short walk from the canal which is a great walking route.

We loved our stay at The Hivehaus. Tucked away in the Lancashire countryside, it’s peaceful, quirky, and full of charm. The design is eclectic and welcoming, with everything you need—tea, coffee, milk, pastries, and even a bottle of wine on arrival. Essentials like washing up liquid, toilet roll, and kitchen roll were all provided, plus loads of crockery and cutlery. Ed and Barry are fantastic hosts—kind, helpful, and respectful of your space. They also have two lovely, spirited dogs. We adored them, but if you're not a dog person, just let Ed know and she’ll keep them out of the way. The views from the top of the garden are beautiful and well worth the short walk. If you're after peace, comfort, and great hospitality, this place is for you. We can’t wait to go back—The Hivehaus is something really special.

Patrick’s place is a great place to stay. It was my second time staying for work and Patrick was an attentive and respectful host. The room is clean, modern and comfortable. The location is very convenient for Preston itself and the wider area, as well as being a very pleasant area to explore.
