Cottage vacation rentals in Wheeler Lake

We absolutely enjoyed every minute of our little getaway. We enjoyed just getting away for the weekend it was so nice. The house was very cozy and the fireplace and hot tub was everything we needed and more. Hope to stay again soon.

We stayed here for my bachelorette weekend and absolutely loved it. Even in January it was beautiful and we enjoyed the walking trails and the hot tub. The house was clean and well decorated. I will definitely be staying in this area again in the warmer months.

My family and I had a great weekend in Guntersville at Tracey's property! Last minute weekend getaway with my 4 kids and we all enjoyed our stay. City Harbor was an unexpected gem that I just so happened to find while looking for things to do around the area. It's less than 10 minutes away and we went multiple times during our stay. I highly recommend getting breakfast at Another Broken Egg Cafe!

Great house, but a bit of a hike to the dock. The dock, kayaks, etc… are great.

The only issues were that the listing shows a kayak, but there wasn’t one, and there were a couple broken windows.

The Airbnb was a great stay! Clean, comfortable beds, and plenty of space. A group of adults stayed and everyone was comfortable. Well stocked kitchen for cooking. Only complaint was that the couches were stained. But that was literally the only thing. The rest is the place was spotless. Host was super responsive and checked in with me at the beginning and end. Highly recommend if you are looking to stay.

Gate Cottage at Rock Hill Farm is a magical place that checks all of the boxes for a wonderful romantic getaway. The host’s Leigh and Jimmy are so gracious and have thought of everything. What a beautiful property. A peaceful and comfortable stay at a high end Airbb. Wish they could all be at this comfort level. Host was very accommodating. Location was good for visiting sites. Highly recommended!

Great home! Quiet! Very safe neighborhood and friendly neighbors. Comfy beds! Functional kitchen for cooking in. The restaurant that’s within walking distance was closed during our visit …but when it’s open, that’s a huge plus as it could cut down on travel. Just over an hour to Nashville… the lake was just coming back to life from the winter. Will definitely return! Great game room for kids to play! The basketball game was a hit!

Beautiful, cozy home in a nice, safe and well-kept neighborhood. Beautiful surroundings, that brings such a sense of peace! Kim was an amazing host. She was very friendly, accommodating and quick to respond. We will definitely be back on our next vacation!

The Clementine Cottage was perfect. It was cute, quaint, CLEAN, well outfitted with lots of nice extras. She had brochures on all the nearby activities. We fished, we kayaked, we sat around the fire pit, we enjoyed the screened porch. My only complaint would be that I mistakenly thought the cabin would be a little more secluded but even with that being said, it was quiet, it was serene, we enjoyed our long weekend very much and are talking about another trip there. And Gloria is a great hostess. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice everything was.

We have family in the area and needed a place near Gurley AL to accommodate others. Our stay was great and provided everything we needed (although the weather could been better!).

Nice cozy cottage with fenced in area for a dog and a huge yard behind it. She has a few egg laying hens in the other separate yard, but no roosters to make noise, happy about that. Easy to work with and very personable, free eggs too!

Enjoyed my stay. working in the area, I would stay again.

Great host!

Everything was as described with a beautiful view of the lake with lots of deck space to enjoy it. The neighbors were very friendly and the home had all the amenities we needed. Our family enjoyed just hanging out by the lake and the game room was a nice touch.

This place was great! We stayed here because we had an extended weekend to celebrate a birthday at The Caverns for a concert. The venue was 40 minutes away but an easy drive. Great places close by to tour like Jack Daniels and Tims Ford State Park. The house was super clean and had everything we needed! In warmer months you can walk to the marina that has a restaurant. We all loved this place and would stay here again!

James was very a great host. He was very helpful and only a phone call away!

The interior of this home was freshly renovated and was spotless inside. We loved the property and fenced in yard so our dogs could enjoy the stay, too. Exterior of the home could use some TLC - especially considering the price we paid to stay here during non-peak lake season. We loved our stay and would certainly entertain coming again.

We loved our stay in this cabin! Was a perfect mini lake house. Super cozy and had everything you could need for the weekend.
