Waterfront vacation rentals in Wheeler Lake

Perfect place to stay for close access to Smith Lake Park. Boat trailer parking was easy right outside the front door and outside electrical hookup for batteries. Great little spot to stay at Smith Lake.

Savanna was a fantastic host and the home is exactly as shown. My daughter and I stayed here for 10 nights for the 8U softball world series and it was a fantastic home away from home for us during our time there. The neighbors were friendly, the area is very safe and quiet, and the home is open and spacious and has lots of open space. It is fully livable for anyone having long stays and the back patio is a cool spot to hang out. I will definitely try to book this property again next year if the opportunity arises. If I could give Roy and Martha’s place 10 stars I would. when we arrived at their place, we noticed the beauty around the apartment and proximity to the lake. After being there a few hours, the air conditioner was struggling to cool the place so I proceeded to text Roy and within seconds he was knocking on our door, wanting to see what was going on . We were on our way out to dinner and when we returned, it have been fixed and was cooling wonderfully Roy and Martha were very attentive and very kind hosts. We were able to visit with them on their screen porch for a while getting to know them and they truly are gems! The Airbnb is very close to everything you would want to visit in Guntersville. We were able to go to the state park a couple of times while we were there. We will definitely go back to their place. It is very peaceful and exactly what we needed.

This had a perfect location to quickly access downtown Florence.

Had a greatest minute stay. Savanna’s detailed directions were incredibly helpful and I really appreciated her leaving the lights on as I was checking in at night. Great, peaceful location!

We had an excellent stay in this exceptional accommodation! This was the cleanest and most welcoming place we could have ever imagined! The kitchen was stocked well with seasonings, utensils, dinnerware, and pots and pans. The bed was extremely comfortable and the entire unit was well decorated and well maintained. One of our favorite features was the design of the floor of the walk in shower! Another welcoming aspect was the privacy and the area of the whole property.

We enjoyed our stay. The condo was lovely. The view and access to the river were wonderful. The beds were comfortable and the amenities were plentiful. The location was a reasonable ride from the airport and close to our family in Florence. It was a great place for us to stay.

Stayed here with our family and friends. and we couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. The views were breathtaking and the house was immaculate. We had a great time!

This was exactly what we were looking for - quiet, clean, comfortable. We would highly recommend this place if you are looking to get away from the bustle and explore this beautiful area of AL!!!

The house was absolutely beautiful. Our family enjoyed it so much. The kids loved the zipline and enjoyed the pool. Our family caught some fish too!!!! After the storm we are glad the house had the emergency generator. This just made it easier to see that the house is fully equipped with any amenities that you could need to make sure any guest has a pleasant stay.

Great place to sneak away for the week. The house was impeccable and very up to date. We brought our two dogs but this place is also great for children. The kayaks and Lilly pad were easily accessible and fun activities for the dock. If you do some diving under the bridge closer to the shore you might find my husband’s Raybans, enjoy!

Candis was a perfect host and the Bluewater house was amazing! Candis was accommodating and the house was just beautiful. We will definitely be back!

Exactly as described and more. The kitchen was well appointed. Extra little thoughtful touches, coffee, creamer and sugar, plastic baggies, garbage bags etc. we didn’t have to run out for anything. The place was super clean. The bathroom also thought of every little detail. Loved the back porch! Sat out there in the mornings for coffee. Comfortable front room. Yard was beautiful. We loved staying at this little cabin get a way! Exactly as described. Perfect for rest and relaxation! Loved listening to nature and the rain sitting on the screened in porch! Beds extremely comfortable and all linens/towels were very nice! For the price, it can’t be beat and exceeded our expectations! We will be back!

We were a party of 4 adults in town for a wedding. It rained the majority of the time we were there, but we could just sit back, relax and enjoy the storms on the screened porch as they rolled through. Loved that! Beds were so comfortable and what a stocked kitchen! Wow!! I have used online rental homes for 20 years and this was the best stocked home I have ever been to! Chris is so accommodating, helpful and easy to contact. The home is decorated with such cute and unique things, we loved it! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

Loved this Airbnb! There’s two units - 1 upstairs and 1 downstairs. Our unit was upstairs and had an amazing porch and swing. We had our two kids who loved the dock and water access for fishing and swimming. The master bed was super comfortable. The highway can be seen and heard from the porch, but didn’t bother us when indoors. Definitely recommend and look forward to coming back to stay for a few more nights

It’s the most convenient place to stay! Walkable to many restaurants and downtown shops! It was clean and quiet!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. If you are looking for a quiet place to do remote work it is perfect. I enjoyed sitting on the balcony while sipping mimosas and working on my laptop with my fishing pole cast out. I appreciated the fully furnished kitchen. I also loved the great water pressure in the shower with hot water. One other cool thing I adored was the tin ceiling. Thank you for the wonderful experience Chuck, we appreciate you!

Overall we had a great time at Brandon’s place! The home had everything we needed. It is right on a river, but as the listing states, the trees across the river have been cut down so the view is of the highway that’s currently under some construction. The listing does state this, but just know that the photos haven’t been updated to show it. We were there for a baseball tournament so it didn’t affect us, but if you’re looking for peace and quiet, this may affect you. All that to say, everything else was satisfactory and if we ever need a place in Florence, we’d stay here again. The only other thing to point out is that the AC units are really noisy. While they do an excellent job of keeping the place cool, when they kick on, they are extremely loud. You can tell that even though the house is older, Brandon takes care of it well. While there, pest control and landscaping guys came. This stood out to us and was impressive. Last thing, bring your fishing poles! We loved the fishing!

Anita is a fantastic host! She was very informative, responded quickly and made sure we felt at home. Her place is great….wonderful view and decorated so that you feel at home. We would go back in a heartbeat X

Chelsea’s place was a wonderful weekend getaway. The condo was clean and extremely nice. There were walkable restaurants that were delicious. The pool and swings on the docks were a perfect way to spend the gorgeous weekend. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return!

It was a great stay and place was very cozy. We didn't get to spend too much time outside as we wanted due to the weather and a few bees around the lounge area. Over all Charles was great and responsive. We hope to come back again.
