Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Wexford

Loved this cleverly designed, cosy and calm haven situated right on the coast, on a quiet residential road. The sound of the waves has an incredibly relaxing effect and watching the sun rise over the sea from bed in the main bedroom is wonderful. Ruth was a great host, providing everything you could need for a cosy break away, including Netflix and a great selection of books.

I stayed in Rachel’s house for Christmas to new year and the house was like a dream. So spacious and clean. Plenty of room and had everything you would need at hand. There is a lovely little village 3 mins away with local shop and little pub lovely friendly people. Beautiful relaxing area. Lovely beaches and walks with stunning views. Thank you again Rachel, I would highly recommend this house.

A beautiful modern space along the southeastern coast of Ireland. Tucked back in the country but 90 minutes or less drive from Dublin. We were able to walk down to the beach with ease. We also drove down to gorgeous Wexford (~30 minutes). Glendalough National Park is a bit over an hour away. The towns of Blackwater and Kilmuckridge are only ~10 minutes drive and have groceries, pubs, etc. Recommend this place if you want a place to relax, cook dinners, feel peaceful and removed, but also is conducive to day trips. Great space for children. Thank you Claire for such an accommodating stay for my family and me, you were so thoughtful and helpful. We will be back!

What a beautiful hidden gem, in the most peaceful surroundings. I chose here as it was a short journey from family. We were not only welcomed by Cleos family but also little freddie the dog, who we looked forward to seeing each day. The place was pristine with everything we needed. Beds were so comfortable and plenty of space to relax. We absolutely loved our stay and hope we can visit again soon. Thank you so much xx

What a wonderful cottage to stay in. Ann was really warm and welcoming. She left us some lovely Irish breakfast items which was very thoughtful. The children loved the place. There's so much to do around Wexford and the cottage is in a fantastic location to all local amenities. I loved the AGA and it was my first time to cook on one so thank you very much for the experience. I would really recommend this cottage to anyone who is wanting a true Irish experience, there's a farm just next door with the most beautiful wee calves and cows. Thanks again for everything. Had an amazing stay in this property, very friendly host and very beautiful place, cam and quite environment, easy access to town and all the amenities. Highly recommended.

It’s hard to find fault with any aspect of our overall trip including accommodation, location warmth of reception given out by Frances/Yvonne. We would however make one recommendation for the shower in the lower Bathroom the floor of which is very slippy which poses a hazard to wrinkles like me it would benefit from a grab rail

We were staying in this house 4th times and every time we are happy to come back. In the apartment everything as on the photos, always cleaned, beautiful view to the mountains, the owner doesn’t disturb you. You could relax and enjoy your trip. Thanks, Carolina

This is an old town house which was a former family home, so its just like a home from home. Its not a five star hotel or guest house but then neither is our own home place and we are perfectly happy there just as we were in this house for our weekend in Graiguenamanagh. Lorraine could not have been more helpful. - Answering any questions we had before booking - Meeting at a time that suited us to hand over keys and explain the running of the house and what was available locally. - Stocking up with Tea, Coffee, Milk, Bread, Jam and Biscuits. - Being at the end of the phone over the weekend to recommend restaurants etc. Grainuenamanagh Our first time and we were all blown away by the beauty of the area. Beautiful towns and villages of character. Indeed 2 minutes from the house there is access to miles upon miles of paradise for any runner or walker in the form of the Barrow way. Why is this area not promoted more from a tourism perspective? If your looking for a place to hide away watching TV on a 40" screen this is not the place for you. However if it a nice home to lay your head after days exploring the beauty of this area then it ticks the boxes. We will be back

Breda and Joe’s farmhouse apartment was good value and just what we were looking for after a few days in busy Dublin - a peaceful stay in the countryside. They provided everything we needed in a very cosy, well-appointed cottage setting. The homemade bread and scones were a treat. It was an “escape to the countryside” but only 30 minutes drive from Kilkenny. Would definitely stay again.

We had a lovely time at Sally‘s place. The house and garden are beautiful and Sally is a wonderful host who is very kind and gave us many super tips where to go and where to eat. We will definitely be back, thank you for everything, Sally! Warm regards, Jill & Family

We have travelled the world for almost two years and stayed at over 25 Airbnbs. This was one of the best we have experienced on the Airbnb platform. The little touches made a huge difference to us travelling for Christmas. Beautiful Christmas decorations, cosy furnishings, wine and cheese left in the fridge, made our stay so much more welcoming during a difficult time where we had to travel from Portugal to be with our elderly sick relative at a nursing home in Wexford. The location was perfect and everything was within walking distance. I would highly recommend staying here. I know we will definitely be back again. Thank you so much Margaret for making our Christmas so much more special than we imagined.

Patrick's hospitality knows no bounds. once he knew I was travelling with my elderly mother, he offered to pick us up from the bus stop and even stopped at a shop to allow me to get groceries for us. The flat was perfect for our needs incl. step free access, and we felt very comfortable from the start. it's in a great location, only a few minutes from town. Thank you Paddy for your generosity!

What an amazing stay Carmel and her husband are great hosts so welcoming so helpful the apartment has everything you could need bed is super comfy and all the farm animals are amazing my partner is upsessed with alpacas camel brought us over to feed them and everything it was an amazing experience thanks do much Carmel we will definitely be back ❤️

Sheona's apartment wqs immaculate, very comfortable. Sheona is very conscientious of all needs of her guests. The apartment is located in an excellent spot for walking to all amenities including various river walks. Playground nearby for children. Excellent communication. Beautiful spot. Where to start. Firstly, Elaine is definitely one of the nicest people we have met in our lives. She is very welcoming and made us feel at home. The cottage is charming. And offered us everything we needed for the weekend away and much more. The area is very beautiful and peaceful. We would definitely recommend.

Ollies Den is a hidden gem! Tucked away on the outskirts of Tomhaggard, Conor’s place offered us a private and peaceful long break. Conor was a fantastic host and was more than helpful and friendly, he made us feel right at home and the property itself was finished to a high standard with all the required equipment and facilities to enjoy our break. We will be back!

We stayed here with our 1 year old baby. Alan was extremely accommodating and provided a travel cot & high chair. Really liked the chickens, goat and cat he has aswell as the slide for our daughter. The apartment was spotless and had fresh eggs, bread, milk and orange juice provided. Really enjoyed the stay here would highly recommend
