Beautiful cottage looking out over the beach. Fabulous window seat for watching dog walkers and those brave enough to run from the sauna to the water! Great fish & chips at the local (renowned chipper) and some guilty treats from the Grounds Hatch! The birdwatcher of the group was in his element and even the teenagers chilled. Thanks to Trish for sharing her home and providing lots of recommendations! So happy guests all around with plans to return!

This is a gorgeous place to spend a few peaceful days. Richard was a perfect host, providing ample local recommendations. I must single out 2 of these, The Lobster Pot which is within walking distance and Karoo, a short drive away. The house is very comfortable and spacious for our family of 4. The 3rd bedroom has limited headroom but was perfect for our younger son. The location is very quiet but walking distance to beach.

We had a great stay at St. Helen's. The house was even better in person. Our 4 & 1 year old were delighted to see lots of toys available to play with and our teenager loved gaming on the projector screen. The house was stocked above and beyond what you would expect from an air bnb. Would really recommend !

We could not be happier, with our stay here. We will certainly be going back. We traveled with our two your girls and they had a ball and loved everything about the place. It was ideal for a short family break. The three bedrooms were availed of as I went with my mum and two sons. It was super that we coios bring our dog. The place was cosy and my boys loved the playground in the park. It was a short distance to Cahore, which was a lovely spot and also to Courttown.

We had a lovely stay at Caroline's place. The cabin is compact but cozy, comfortable, and had everything you need. The kitchen is very well equipped, and there were plenty of board games and books to keep the kids entertained. It's a peaceful and private spot, just a few minutes from Fethard and ideally located for exploring the Hook Peninsula. Check-in was smooth, and communication with Caroline was excellent.

we had a great stay there, the views are amazing. it is located in a perfect location and a bar and a shop across the road was ideal for us. The house wad spotless and a full kitchen if you wanted to make meals and washing machine there aswell if needed. We would go back in a heartbeat, thanks again Kathleen

Exceptional. The hosts especially were pure gents and the perfect balance between leaving you to your own devices and proactive/interested in what you're up to. The house is beautiful - if you didn't fancy going out you'd be just as happy staying in. And the location is amazing. I went for a stroll to Slade and the lighthouse was beaming on my way there the night I arrived. Beautiful. loved it, will stay there again

The lodge was comfortable, very clean, and lovely and quiet. Its rural quiet location was so nice to relax, and the dogs visited most days, super friendly. The sofa and bed very comfortable, the whole place spotless clean could not fault. The welcome products were lovely and a of a great quality. The views were good, which we enjoyed from inside and the hot tub. We had a very comfortable enjoyable stay and we found so much to see and do in the area, we stayed 6 nights and could have found things to do for 2 weeks. The cooker is a little small, but it does have the addition of an air fryer, plus a coffee machine. We found anything we needed in Gorey and people were friendly and helpful and welcoming in all places we came in to contact with.

Highly recommend staying at Declan's if you get the chance! The property is a lovely clean spacious house close to a beautiful beach and a short drive to all the amenities you could want, as well as lots of places to visit and things to do in the south east of Ireland. The fireplace in the living area is a real focal point of the property, and makes the space so cosy. We particularly appreciated the well-stocked kitchen: we had all the pots and pans needed to cook as if we were at home. Declan himself is a fantastic host - super responsive, friendly and helpful. Everything was so easy and it was a joy to stay there. Thank you, Declan!

Thanks Martina we had a really lovely relaxing stay. The house was spotless and had everything you need. Amazing power showers. Netflix on tv for the rainy days, 10 -20 min drive to lots of local attractions, restaurants, shops and Kilmore quay.
