Family-friendly vacation rentals in Wexford

A really great house for a family holiday, super private and the garden was a massive bonus. Lots of space in the living spaces and bedrooms. Great location for beaches etc

We had a fantastic couple of nights staying at Paul and Karen's place. Everything was absolutely perfect from the outdoor hot tub, to the fantastic Tapas restaurant and cosy bar. Paul and Karen were excellent to communicate with before and during our stay ensuring the hot tub was ready when we wanted it etc. I would highly recommend staying here.

Michelle was so accommodating and kind. We booked the same day of arrival and Michelle went out of her way to go to and clean and sort out the place before our arrival. The home is perfect for families and pets. The estate’s amenities are great, and we enjoyed tea and scones in the club house as well as use of the leisure centre.

We had an absolutely wonderful 2 nights in Caroline's place. The surroundings were idyllic, the place itself was clean and tidy and its one of the most comfortable bed we've slept in! The location is in the beautiful countryside and only 5 mins from Thomastown by car - Caroline arranged a taxi for us to the train station one on day so that we could go to Kilkenny for the day, which is only 15 mins by train. Caroline herself was super responsive and so friendly, she had the hot tub heated and ready for us on both evenings which was above and beyond! Arthur was part of the welcoming committee and a bundle of fun! Would 100% recommend!

We had a fabulous stay in Dungarvan in Jennifer's lovely home. Location is perfect, house is private yet central and walkable to all amenities. Jennifer herself is very responsive and her communication was excellent. We were delighted with the stay and will most definitely be back to stay again.

This is our second visit to Weavers Cottage.. The cottage is light, airy and warm. The furnishing and fixing are all of a high standard. The cottage has every amenity you could need. It is 5 minutes from the centre of the village and the river. There are many beautiful walks from the village and nearby. Mary is a warm and welcoming host. She kindly leave basic provision to see you through your first night at the cottage. When I suffered toothache she helped us find a local emergency dentist. I cannot praise Mary or her cottage enough.

We loved Helen’s place. It’s located in her farm/cafe complex, and it’s super cute and special. We felt welcomed, and Helen was very friendly and accommodating from beginning to end. Staying here was a highlight of our trip to Ireland!

We had a great family stay at Sheep Cottage. This truely is a picturesque cottage in the woods, with the choice of all mod cons if wanted. The blend of old and new gives a feeling of comfort in a rustic setting. Clean, spacious near everything yet a cosy off grid feel. Here you can be right in the centre of Ireland's woodlands, fields, and coastal areas all in one stay. Sleep soundly with only the gentle sounds of the rustling leaves. Wake up to the dawns chorus all round you. Highly recommend. Eamon is brilliant host we will definitely be back.

We recently stayed at Mary’s. There was 9 of us, 3 kids and 6 adults and it was more than enough space for us all. It was well looked after and it had everything we needed, it was so cosy & also spotless. We live in Dublin so it was amazing having the out door space for the kids. Check in was a breeze and Mary was so friendly she gave us recommendations also. Would highly recommend it anyone which we have already done. Tramore isn’t too far away and we recommend getting the passage ferry, it was 10 euro single and 15 euro return. It was brilliant. I can’t fault a thing about Elrove, we will definitely be back.

Beautiful setting, and very peaceful. The kitchen was amazing, and the Wood burning stove was so cosy in the evening. A great hideaway with friends. The roads are very narrow on the way to it, so be cautious

We loved staying here! The house was comfortable with fantastic art, furniture, and great views from all windows. The smell of the sea and the birdsong were so lovely. Andrew was a very communicative and friendly host. We walked to the lighthouse and enjoyed a fire in the backyard. Easy access to a couple small nearby villages for a dinner out or groceries. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Kevin was a great host, Lovely house, very spacious, comfy beds, well equipped kitchen and fantastic location for the church & step house hotel for a wedding we attended. Great to park up and walk around. Beautiful surroundings. Very nice town and the people were very friendly. Thanks Kevin.

Second time staying, and it was as good as the first. Gorgeous location, clean and tidy, and we got to enjoy the outdoor BBQ.

3rd time staying here with a group from work, couldn’t recommend enough.

After being cramped in Dublin and Killarney this was a breath of fresh air. Nice and spacious with complimentary snacks, milk, and OJ which made mornings so much easier for us. Very nice hosts. Thanks!

We had a wonderful stay at Elizabeth's farm! It was our last stop on a tour of Ireland and a perfect way to end the trip. The loft itself is comfortable and clean, and the property is stunning. Elizabeth and her team at the farm were very kind to my curious kids and let them tag along while taking care of the many animals on the property (a very special memory for them)! The dogs were also a welcomed hello when we arrived! The proximity to Killkenney was a great for a day in town and then an evening of peaceful surroundings. And Elizabeth was a really lovely host! Highly recommend making a visit here if you can!

Anita's cottage was perfect for our family. The double rooms were spacious and the single rooms were perfect for kids. The living area was cozy and the kitchen had all the mod cons. The terrace area was stunning in the evening and very safe for kids. Everywhere was in walking distance-including the beach and promenade. Anita was a fabulous host tending to all our questions and queries. Would highly recommend for a family holiday. Thank you for a great week.

Lovely place right in the heat of Mount Juliet 3 minutes walk to the clubhouse

We had a wonderful stay at John’s place. The house is spacious, clean & bright and within walking distance to the beach and beautiful cliff walks. Highly recommend. It’s a stunning location.
