Our stay was very comfortable; the house was roomy, spotlessly clean and well presented. The location was fabulous and only a stones throw from some of the popular walks in the area. We would stay there again. Car parking is on the street and the village was very busy when we stayed, so we had to leave the cars a hundred meters, or so, from the house. However, it felt safe enough to leave the cars out of sight.

Perfect spacious cottage with everything you might need for a comfortable stay. Everything as described. The host was very responsive and helpful. Very close to York or nearby towns. One tiny fault: when in the garden or opening the windows, be prepared to be exposed to some noise from passing cars and countryside smells:) But the sunset was worth it!

My entire family absolutely loved this place! The house is spacious & modern. The kitchen was exceptionally well-stocked, and there was plenty of closet space in each bedroom, making it perfect for a comfortable stay. The living area was a highlight, with incredibly cozy couches and a huge TV that made relaxing even better. Having a bathroom on each floor was a fantastic convenience- especially for my mom & toddler. Dani was a wonderful host—warm, courteous, and incredibly thoughtful. She even stocked the fridge with milk and bread, which was such a kind and hospitable gesture. Overall, I highly recommend this place! The photos don’t do it justice—it’s even better in person! If ever I am in Leeds again, I will be staying here.

Definitely my favourite Airbnb booking in 7 years!! The cabin it’s very well equipped, I’d say they thought about everything. Everything is super clean, good smell in every room. They have 4 smart tv’s, one in each room/lounge. Bed sheets were good quality and smelling really good. Good wi-fi as well. The cabin it’s reserved out of anyone’s way, it’s super quiet (you’ll be the last one in a cul-de-sac), you’ll only hear the animals and river which can be seen of 2 different bedroom windows , so from privacy perspective spot on, ideal for a couple or a family escape. I will definitely go again, I usually don’t even leave reviews , but after 2 nights I fully recharged my batteries. Hot tub was again spotless and the right temperature, both of us really enjoyed that too. The only suggestion I’d have which is probably not a must, more like a personal preference, would be building 3 walls to break the wind and probably cover the canopy/roof over hot tub. Stayed for my mums 50th birthday, the views are amazing & the house is stunning! Beds are really comfy the place had everything we needed for our short trip away, would love to stay again!

Our stay at Bridget's cottage was perfect. From excellent directions and check in, to a very comfortable bed and great facilities - we had a very relaxing Easter weekend. The cottage is very well appointed with a great kitchen we could cook in - with essentials provided. Easy walking distance to the village which is beautiful. The hens and Sam (dog) were super and the treats were appreciated! We would love to stay again :-)

Me and my partner spent the weekend here and it was the most peaceful and beautiful place. Lodge was spotless when we arrived and the hottub was all ready for us. During the day there is a few hikers going past the lodge so that is something to take into consideration when booking but we didn't mind this. Only thing we had to point out was there was no milk when we arrived which we assumed would be in the fridge because there was everything else there to make a cup of coffee/tea. Overall it was a lovely and peaceful experience and we would recommend this lodge to anyone.

If you’re staying in Pocklington then this house is fantastic. Huge! Clean! Warm and cosy. All the mod cons. Really really exceeded our expectations. It’s just a couple of minutes walk from Market Place. Only comment is that maybe there should be fans in all the bathrooms…otherwise, it’s like Dr. Who’s Tardis…way bigger than you think. Loved it.
