Welcome to RETREAT 34, tucked around the back of a beautifully presented rural development, with open fields and countryside walks literally on your doorstep. Our 'Home from Home' tastefully converted large double garage, has a fully fitted kitchen, lounge, bedroom, wet-room, private patio garden with decking and raised planting. Set in a quiet rural location, the village of Langford has a selection of small shops, including an Indian restaurant, garden centre, chip-shop, pub and post office.

Ashtree Annexe, part of the oldest house in town

An opportunity to stay in a refurbished old stable block, built in 1865 in the heart of the old Market Town, Baldock. With the station only a 7 min walk away you can be in Cambridge in 30 minutes and in London in an hour. Take a 5 min walk into the centre of town where there are coffee houses, pubs, other eateries and a large Tesco. The annexe has a large open kitchen, dining area and sofas, and upstairs is 1 double bedroom and 1 twin room with ensuite shower rooms. The main house is close by

Black Squirrel Barn, luxury 3 bedroom, 2 bath barn

Black Squirrel Barn is a converted 3 bed 2 bath barn. It is completely self contained so you have your privacy but I am close by to help if necessary. The barn is luxurious yet homely with cosy underfloor heating downstairs. Close by are two lovely pubs with fab food. You can also find a little post office within 5 mins walk. There are many countryside walks and cycle paths running from the house yet the A1M is minutes away. A PET CONSIDERED BY REQUEST ONLY BEFORE BOOKING (£20 per week)

Whilst It is in a rural location, the cabin provides close access to London by both train (29-minutes to London St Pancras) and car (A1(M)) along with a short drive to the local market towns of Hitchin, Letchworth Garden City and the large town of Stevenage. Free parking (3 cars maximum). Perfect for exploring the local Hertfordshire countryside or heading into London or Cambridge–both within easy reach. Both floors have a living area with double sofa bed & kitchen/diner, double bedroom and shower room. Electric car charging available.

Manor Farm Barn

You'll have a great time at this comfortable place to stay. We have renovated one of our Barns to a high standard and comfortable space and although we are in the heart of the countryside we are also within easy reach of London and Cambridge. We have great pubs within 3 miles and lovely country walks from the front door. Due to the nature of the barn position parking is on our main yard that we use and via gates. You must be a dog lover as we have 2 friendly dogs 2 pet sheep.
