Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Western Montana

We had a wonderful family trip. Two of our kids couldn’t make it, so we ended up all fitting in the main bedroom with a queen and bunk bed and two extra rooms to spare. Walk to the lake and Boettcher Park. Dozens of deer every day. His property is beautiful and very comfortable!

Jodi was a very good hostess and her property was like a dream! Very friendly and responsive. I accidentally left a couple items behind and she was able to contact me before we got too far away.

Great location! Very clean and peaceful! My husband even caught a 13” small mouth bass on a streamer in the backyard! Totally made his birthday trip super special! We will be back!

We enjoyed our short little spring break getaway. Comfortable and quite the warm feeling when we arrived and the fireplace was on and ready to go.

This home is gorgeous, clean and just perfect. The location is ideal. Nestled in nature but around the corner from center of town, Ponderosa, trails and the water. Mary is WONDERFUL and so fun. She was quick to respond, fun to chat with and very helpful and flexible. I HIGHLY recommend staying here!

Amazing views!!! This spacious 3 bedroom, 3 bath home was perfect for our 3 couple group. It is in a neighborhood in the country, and the homes are well-spaced for privacy. The kitchen had ample cookware to make meals. The outside gas grill, gas fire pit, dining table, and Adirondack chairs made relaxing and admiring the scenery a true pleasure. The beds, pillows, and sheets were very comfortable allowing for easy sleep. 10 minutes from Chico Hot Springs, which we loved and went to twice. An easy drive to Livingston for unique shopping and great dining. Another easy drive (1 hour) to the north entrance of YNP. The highlight of our week's stay at Kady's home was a guided drift boat trip on the Yellowstone River that launched 10 minutes from the house. Kady is a gracious host and we are grateful that she has chosen to share such a special place with others.

This was the second time we stayed here. Close to rhe Chico Hot Springs and perfect for family get away time. We will be back again!!

Loved the outdoor setting, felt safe coming and going, comfortable, and quiet. Please provide an alternate route to apartment because of a train that stops and blocks the crossing. We were in town for the Salmon Select show and have been in hotels for prior shows. We wanted something a bit more quiet and peaceful. We found the perfect place at Rockwell's! My timing for check in was a bit off. Rockwell was very flexible with us and met us when we arrived. He gave us a quick overview of the place and we went in. Rockwell's place is the upstairs of their residence. It was very clean, comfortable and ready for us. The location is just under 20 miles out of Salmon and is quiet and secluded, but perfect for us. Thank you Rockwell!

We had a wonderful ‘snowy’ stay at Selena’s cosy apartment! After 28 hours of travelling this apartment was a warm and welcoming retreat. The beds are super comfy and the place is extremely clean with all the amenities we required. It immediately became our ‘home away from home’! Selena was always responsive and went above and beyond in helping us when we had a car mishap in the Idaho snow. We would love to come back to stay here in the future and thoroughly recommend this accommodation

Amazing set up! Loved that the place was so spacious &’ could easily sleep so many people comfortably. D was clear with instructions on where to park and how to get into the place. Inside the place I appreciated the laminated papers of information for our stay &’ the fun facts about Montana! Our trip was very short and we got in late but we would love to come again! Oh &’ the selection of books as well as board games was such a nice touch. Can’t forget to mention the BEAUTIFUL shower in there as well!!

We really enjoyed the charm of the place and we're impressed on how spotless and clean it was. Well stocked kitchen and very easy to get to the places we wanted to see. We would stay there again.

The cabin was perfect for my husband and I. It was in a great location as well as peaceful, relaxing, and comfortable. We loved seeing the different animals around such as deer, bucks, horses, and cattle. We definitely want to stay again. Absolutely loved it!!!

Very beautiful cabins in a nice small-town area but still near the bigger towns with lots to do! Made us consider moving to Montana one day :) Heidi was very kind and accommodated us very kindly. Could not recommend a better place to stay and enjoy!

This place was great! We went while it was quite cold still, and the cabin was well insulated for the temps outside. Close to Yellowstone (like 30 mins ) Quiet, and our kiddos loved it! ( 8 & 5) We stayed two nights and the hot water and shower was great, beds comfy and warm, and it had a stove and fridge and microwave for our snacks and food for the kiddos Would definitely stay there again

Christie’s place was incredible. My family was so excited and was over the moon about this cabin. Christie really has thought about all of the details, big and small. We will be coming back and checking out her other properties.

I had a great time. Becky was very responsive and helpful! I was there to fly fish and the cabin was super close to the rivers I was fishing. Enjoyed my stay and hope to get back there. Highly recommend!!! 5-star. Thanks

Loved everything about this place! Such a cozy, private, escape from the real world. They have thought about everything you might need while you’re there. Cannot recommend staying here enough! We can’t wait to come back and stay here again!

We loved the place. Especially the hot tub and the arcade game.

Absolutely beautiful and simple setup. Entry was great. Liked that the shower and vanity were separate as to not tie up the bathroom with simple things as hair or brushing teeth. The kitchen and walkable space around the center fireplace was a very cool layout and was quite cozy. Nice kitchen supplies and water from the tap was cold and refreshing. We appreciated the baby items located in the stay. Great place to have stayed at and not the last time we’ll stay in this area. Thanks, The Sanders Family
