Waterfront vacation rentals in Western Montana

Beautiful condo with all of the amenities! The mountain and lake view was stunning. Spacious accommodations for 8. Highly recommend and will definitely be back. It is close to the train tracks and trains are frequent, but not disturbing. Quiet, peaceful surroundings - hot tub and pool were excellent!

We will be back to Cara’s place 👍. She’s done a lovely job decorating but still clutter free. The beds were comfortable and the linens soft. As noted, there is no AC but we were comfortable with the breeze through the beautiful windows and the temps were pretty mild during our summer stay. We spent most of our time out adventuring but it was a very relaxing and comfortable air bnb to come back to :). Even though there isn’t water access (as Cara did a great job confirming), the view is still so nice from the living room/balcony.

This was a great place to stay! The hosts were very responsive and totally flexible about everything. Check in was no problem and the place was beautiful!

We had a girls weekend getaway in Sandpoint. This was the perfect location with restaurants and cute shops all within walking distance. And, it was so spacious in the accommodation—room to spread out and relax in different spaces. As others have mentioned in reviews, there’s noise from trains and from cars in front of the building, and a little bit of light music coming from the restaurant downstairs. Nothing that bothered us or would keep us from wanting to stay here again. All in all, a great place to stay and tastefully renovated old building.

I loved Aja’s place!! It was just perfect for me and my pup. It was so cozy and inviting and the bed was amazing. Huge plus with the washer and dryer. It was nice and private and so lovely!! I’ll definitely be returning again. 5 stars all around. :)

Everything was great! We were very comfortable and would definitely consider staying here again if we’re passing through! Also, love the bathroom signs!

We enjoyed our time in the home, everything was as described and the views of the lake were awesome! Chelsea and team were very responsive and and answered all of my question in a timely manner. Lastly, other reviewers mentioned too, we got lucky with the weather but if it had been icy that driveway would have been brutal. All in all a great stay and would consider it again. Thank you!

We had the most amazing stay away from home for Thanksgiving. We were so amazed at how beautiful this home was. Shamir was very responsive and accommodating. We would love to stay here again!!!

Diana’s lake house was amazing for our Labor Day weekend stay! We rented a jet ski and used their sweet kayaks and floaties as well! The bay was awesome. The view was incredible. The house layout was perfect for our group. We had 4 adults, 2 kids under 6 and one 15 year old. The apartment in the lower part of the house was unexpected but literally perfect for the parents of the 15 year old! There was a bit of dirt in a couple areas and the ceiling fans were very dusty. Other than that our stay was incredible. We are already talking about booking it again for next year! Thanks again!

Everyone in our three families loved this place. There was certainly a lot for the kids to do but so comfortable and perfectly set up for the adults. This house was just right for our group. We have stayed at a number of places for our family gatherings and this is one of our favorites! Thank you for the quick responses to questions and having such a wonderful spot for us to enjoy!

A beautiful and peaceful location. Loved all the birds and life along the riverfront. Centrally located in the valley so easy to access Kalispell, Bigfork and Whitefish. Would definitely stay again.

We really appreciate everything about the stay. We booked very late as we did not know our plans until right at the end. Highlander's quick response and easy check-in helped get the deal sealed and also allowed us to show up late after driving extra to get all the way to this cool destination including a personal welcome message. As it says, it is a lake front property and my daughter and I got day license and actually caught two large rainbow trout right off of the dock, what a memory for us! The home is very cozy on those cold November nights in Montana and the neighborhood is very quiet but it may have been the colder temps because there are other docks nearby just no one really out during our trip. Also, so many other lakes and areas nearby this to enjoy too but we liked it so much we spent all of the time away from the conference I had in town at the property and on the dock enjoying the lake and view from the back deck. We had originally made plans in a different home but It did not work out. We booked this home last minute and were pleasantly surprised. The lake views are gorgeous. So nice to sit outside and enjoy the morning with coffee and have a glass of wine as the sun was setting. This home is private and very well stocked. The two refrigerators work great for food in one and beverages in the other. There is so much to do and entertain yourselves that there is no need to leave other than to buy provisions. You will not be disappointed staying here. David and Stacey are great Host and answer calls right away. I would definitely stay here again.

A gorgeous getaway spot nestled in the mountains with private access to the river! The perfect location between Bozeman and Big Sky, equipped with everything you’d need or want for a comfortable stay. Can’t recommend Deanna’s place enough.

The unit was a perfect place to stay in Big Sky for skiing! Instructions and pictures were spot on. Plenty of dishes, towels, toiletries, etc. Beautiful view of Lone Mountain! We will definitely stay again!

This is the second time we’ve stayed at Condo del Sol. This unit was clean, very well stocked and provided lots of extras like a pack and play, sound machines, kayaks, tennis rackets and extra towels. We used the pool daily, it was never too busy even on a long holiday weekend. Location is walkable to the city beach, restaurants and shopping. Will definitely look for this unit when we return next summer.

We loved our stay at Hope's apartment. It is much roomier than the pictures might indicate and had everything we needed for our very active ski vacation - well equipped kitchen, comfy sofa and chairs and nice dining area. We enjoyed the view of the mountain, river and snow covered fields when we were there and being away from the more built up areas of Big Sky. That said, town and Nordic is only 10 minutes away. The place also had beautiful, big, healthy houseplants, which was so cheerful and a real rarity for an Airbnb.

We had a great stay at Birk’s place! The place was clean, walking distance to the mountain, and cozy. Everything was as described - we would definitely stay here again!

The host was incredibly communicative and helpful making sure the entire process was smooth. The condo was super clean and welcoming for my stay. The location is great, far enough outside of Gardiner you feel like you have some quiet and privacy with the tourist season starting to pick up. But close enough to the north entrance that the drive isn’t a hassle. The views couldn’t be better…. Sitting riverside and right on the water and the bison herd right across the street. Definitely recommend staying here and will be back for sure.

Loved this place SO much! My dog had to have surgery in Pinehurst so my boyfriend a I decided to make a trip out of it. I found this place and we were so thrilled by Brenden and his wife’s hospitality, they did an amazing job making this a cozy retreat. They provided everything you might need like towels, spices, utensils etc. S0 comfy with lots of sights to see and explore. We went to outlaw for lunch and sat in the hot tub after. Very relaxing, right on the river. We will definitely be staying here again! - Megan &Chandler

The condo was the perfect place to gather with family from Seattle. Sandpoint is a beautiful area and people friendly. Most of our meals were prepared in the condo, in a kitchen well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, and utensils. When eating out Eichhardt's Pub Grill and Joel's Mexican Food were our favorites. The nearby bike and walking trails proved our favorite daytime activities.
