Beach house vacation rentals in West Wittering

Kay's apartment was absolutely superb for us and she was such a great host. She was able to provide a travel cot and high chair at the last minute as silly grandparents had forgotten to pack them. It was no problem for Kay and she'd got it in position by the time we arrived, for which we were all extremely grateful. The apartment is located in a great spot with direct views over the estuary and Arun yacht club and a 5 minute walk from the beach and high st! We were greeted with a lovely basket containing sourdough bread, homemade biscuits, milk, jam, marmalade as well as plenty of tea bags, coffee & sugar! All the beds were comfortable as was the sofa and easy chairs in the lounge/diner. We all would recommend the local fish & chip shop Osca's as the food there was fantastic!

Beth's place is fantastic. The beautiful views through the big picture window were just amazing. The house is lovely with many thoughtful touches. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept well. I would highly recommend Beth's place to anyone visiting the island. It's a great base to get around and a lovely place to come back to.

I have stayed in many Airbnb properties over the years, but this surpasses them all! The location on the beach, with facilities which lacked nothing, would top anyone's expectations. The décor was bright and fresh, suiting the house perfectly. This property is of the highest standard.

Carey is always responsive and happy to help as much as she can, this is our second stay here and it doesn’t disappoint, clean and everything is thought of, will definitely stay there again 😊

Beautiful house and felt like a real home from home. Beds were very comfortable and ideal for our family (4 adults, 1 child, 1 baby). The property has a stunning kitchen area and the whole house is decorated to a very high standard. Everything available you could need (all the little basics) and more. Lovely touches like a welcome pack including a bottle of Prosecco, biscuits etc. This is probably one of the loveliest properties we have stayed in and so conveniently placed halfway between useful shopping area and the beach. Local park nearby for children too and parking for up to 4 vehicles behind a large secure gate. Only criticism (although minor) is the windows would benefit from blackout blinds as we all tended to wake up early due to sunshine streaming in despite blinds being drawn. Thank you Karen for a lovely stay - would highly recommend this property for family holiday /get together and we are very likely to return.

Roxanne really is a 5 star host. she made our stay easy and stress free. really felt like a home from home! the kids had so much to entertain them and it was completely kitted out with everything we needed. the caravan is lovely and comfortable. if we ever need somewhere to stay in Portsmouth we will definitely be choosing Roxanne!

Beautiful place with views of the beach, all felt very new and clean. Right next to a lively pub only thing was slightly overwhelming check out rules (hard to have done the dishwasher and emptied it all by 10am before checking out, and expecting guests who’ve paid £500+ to strip all the beds and put all bedding and towels in a laundry bag felt a bit OTT).

Really comfortable lodge, very well equipped and in a great location. Spotlessly clean and some nice welcome touches. Clear instructions and a very good description of both lodge and location.

We had a great family break at Lance's. So convenient to get to the beaches in the area and having a pool on site made the lazy days fun. Lance was very helpful and responsive when we needed him. We had everything we needed for our stay. A great staycation!

Excellent few days in a spacious house full of character. The space is great for groups with lots of activities and plenty of eating and chilling out areas. We loved the location being close to the coast and with plenty of amenities on hand. The pool was great and so helpful to have lots of beach towels provided. Thanks again!

A lovely house with a fantastic pool. Chris was a great host, very helpful. The beds were super comfy and the kids loved that the house had so many hiding places to play hide and seek.

We really enjoyed our holiday at Whitecliff Bay Holiday Park. Rosie’s accommodation was excellent. It had everything it said it would. It was clean, well maintained and welcoming. Rosie advised on the local amenities and was extremely friendly to deal with. Would definitely stay there again.

We had a lovely holiday… a lots of things to do and our kids really enjoyed it. Fiona was very helpful and taken all my worries away. A lovely caravan with all amenities. Would love to come back at some time…

We enjoyed our stay at this house a lot. It is very well stocked with things you might need, which are usually unavailable in caravans, eg, an iron, a vacuum cleaner, lots of books, puzzles, DVDs, and games for kids and parents. Our kids were entertained with the games and books for quite some time. The house is spotless and cozy. It is within walking distance to the center of the caravan park, at the same time, the house is on a quiet road with a beautiful sunset view. Crystal was very helpful and friendly. She sent clear instructions and helped us get a good deal for the ferry ride. When we had a change of plans, Crystal was very supportive; she replied quickly, even late in the evening, and made the whole stay perfect. Thank you very much, Crystal! I would highly recommend staying at this house, particularly working with Crystal. It was a pleasure!

Lovely little place for a small family …wanted some where close to the beach and couldn’t get closer if we tried .. only fault is there’s tea and coffee on arrival with suger in the cupboard we got there late so no shops open to make a drink so a little milk to go with the tea and coffee would of made it more out standing but Carl wasn’t to know we were gunna be late other then. It being able to make a tea after our long journey the accommodation was absolutely perfect for what we needed for the long wk end away if your a fan of the beach this place is perfect for you would 100 percent stay again ..

This is a very spacious and light house, which was ideal for our family group of 9 with 3 generations. The configuration of 4 double bedrooms and 2 singles suited us fine. The kitchen is well equipped with all we needed to do our own catering. The garden is a lovely place to sit, and the barbeque and outdoor table are great for when the weather is fine. Being so close to the beach is an asset which the children enjoyed. Becky was a responsive host, providing good clear information.

Wonderful location, super friendly hosts. Easy to get in, lots of ameneties nearby. Was clean, and beautifully decorated. The fire on the Saturday night whilst having dinner was a real treat. 4 humans and one little dog loved it and will definitely be going back!

We absolutely loved our stay here. Place was so lovely and light inside with the views out to the sea. We were especially grateful to have a later check out to be able to stay longer and have more time in the area. Perfect place for family and dog!

Ideal for a large family gathering, plenty of space indoors and outside. Perfect garden for children, and/or for adults to relax. We had three babies, a toddler, six adults and a dog, yet we didn't feel cramped. Easy walk to East Wittering beach, and cafes, pubs, and shops. 5 minute drive to West Wittering beach. Other places and attractions within a 30 min drive

Really lovely house and lived up to all the very positive reviews I had read previously prior to booking. House had everything we wanted - really liked the large open plan kitchen, dining room and living room making it very sociable. The hot tub was brilliant of course and the house spotless. Location wise - brilliant. 5-10 mins walk into town where you have all the shops you need (Tescos/co-op/ various butchers, sweet shop(!) and shop to get stuff for the beach. 5 mins in the car to wear wittering beach too which is really handy. We will be booking again next year for sure!

Great stay this week. Lovely, beautifully decorated eclectic house. Accessible to beaches and restaurants. We felt very at home this week and enjoyed the time away!! Thank you.

We had a great stay at Holly’s place! Location is lovely and peaceful with walks onto the beach straight from the door but walking distance into town and a short drive from lots of lovely nearby towns too. Holly was very responsive and helpful as we had to change dates late notice which was very much appreciated.
