Gary's place was a wonderful find - we were so fortunate that it was available for our dates. A perfect, easy base for collecting our daughter from Newcastle Uni. Gary was friendly, helpful and responsive, and it was a privilege to share his lovely, well-appointed home. The reclining sofas in the lounge were so comfy and the lovely choices for breakfast were spot-on for our tastes. One of the very nicest, friendliest Air BnBs we've stayed in. Highest of recommendations for Gary, Liz and Oscar!

My parents had a truly wonderful and comfortable stay at Irena’s place. From the moment we booked, communication was smooth, clear, and welcoming. Irena was incredibly thoughtful and accommodating, ensuring everything was ready for an early check-in and going out of her way to make them feel at home. The room was spotless, beautifully maintained, and exactly as described, with every little detail thoughtfully arranged. My parents especially appreciated the peace, privacy, and convenience of having their own bathroom and kitchenette. Irena’s warmth and hospitality made all the difference – it felt more like a home than just accommodation. We’re genuinely grateful and wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Highly recommended!

We had a short stay here to be close to relatives we were visiting and the house was very comfortable, spotless and very spacious for 5 adults. We also were greeted with a welcome gift of wine and goodies which was a lovely surprise. We would highly recommend staying here, it’s a beautiful place. Thankyou Tracey.

Two Single Bed Room in Cosy, Quiet House at Durham

This property was perfect for our requirement. The location was outside the city centre, with a large supermarket 10mins walk away and a regular bus service 5mins away. It was a quiet and pleasant area. Monica communicated well before our arrival and was a lovely host. We also enjoyed chatting to her husband about Durham and his music projects! We mainly ate out, although did cook our own breakfast. I would have felt comfortable using the kitchen more. During our stay, it felt like Monica was available if we had needed anything, but was extremely courteous and respectful of us sharing the living spaces.
The living area features large windows with flowing yellow curtains, providing ample natural light. A comfortable couch and a decorative coffee table are arranged on a patterned rug. A dining table for four is positioned nearby, along with a wall-mounted television and a sleek white refrigerator.

The Elm Retreat

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was pristine and furnished to a really high standard! The beds were really comfy, the kitchen contained all the essentials, the shower was powerful and the house had a lovely atmosphere! We were really pleased that there is an EV charger to use at the property as this is something we look for when booking Air bnb's. The garden area was spacious and the furniture was really comfy. Mitchell was very helpful and responded to any questions as well as his family who are close by and very helpful. The location of the house is perfect to see a lot of the north east. We visited the beaches. Durham and Northumberland, all really easy to get to. Thanks so much for a great stay. We would love to come again!
