The Vintage Hideaway

The vintage hideaway is a self contained annexe attached to my house. It is light and comfortable, it has a bedroom with sofa, kitchenette with small oven/grill and two hotplates ,fridge, freezer and microwave and a shower room. Access from the bedroom to a seating area on the deck ,over looking an area of outstanding natural beauty. The house is close to lovely walks and the historic town of Shaftesbury with a variety of cafes , individual shops and pubs, and of course Gold Hill.

Lakeside Cottage - at Incombe Farm

Really comfortable and warm converted stables next to our main house but with privacy, standing in idyllic private valley. Less than 2 miles from Shaftesbury. The cottage overlooks our small lake (about 1/2 acre). Peaceful countryside with buzzards, woodpeckers, a barn owl, ducks, pheasants, deer and even otters. See them at your breakfast table or in our enclosed veranda with circular table and overhead heater. Well behaved small / medium dogs only - strictly by prior agreement.

An 1860s cottage on the historic and famous Gold Hill in the beautiful town of Shaftesbury, Dorset. There's 3 bedrooms - two smaller attic bedrooms and the main bedroom which is spacious with a king bed. There's only one bathroom so any more than four adults might struggle! Less than an hour from the Jurassic Coast and 25mins to Stonehenge we're in a great spot or just enjoy the countryside on your doorstep.
