This flat was delightful! Attractive, light, spotlessly clean and tidy, well furnished and cosy but not cluttered. Felt like a home with personal touches. Bed fresh and comfy, kitchen v well stocked, bathroom spacious and modern. Loved the setting overlooking the Esk river and near a picturesque historic footbridge. We were here for Edinburgh but enjoyed walking Musselburgh High St with convenient and nice shops.

Lovely stay at Matt's place - especially loved the hot tub and the chickens! Matt was really friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Staying at this place was a wonderful experience. We had the pleasure of meeting Ian and his wife upon arrival, as they kindly allowed us to drop off our luggage before the official 3 PM check-in time. Prior to our stay, we received all the necessary information, and Ian was both flexible and helpful throughout. The apartment was well-equipped for our five-day visit—spacious, quiet at night (with no street noise), and very comfortable. It’s conveniently located with easy access from the airport, relatively close to the city center, and well connected by public transport. The neighborhood is filled with charming cafes and cozy restaurants—I especially recommend trying the nearby seafood spots.

Great location, with easy parking in front of the property. It’s pay and display before 17:00. Scott was super helpful and friendly. With responses super quick. Check in was easy with a lock box. The place is stunning. The photos really didn’t do it justice. Super homey. The location is super nice right on the beach and just a short walk to a shop if anything needed. Would 100% recommend.

Shammi’s apartment was spacious, tasteful and comfortable. The neighbourhood was quiet which made for a good night’s sleep, easy access to the city centre via bus or tram just 4 minutes from the apartment and the secure parking was a great bonus. Everything was very efficient and worked well. Would definitely stay here again.

I recently moved to Scotland with my 4 dogs and needed a place to stay while I figured out my permanent living situation. I booked for a 2-month stay. The location is everything I hoped it would be. You can see and hear the sea right outside your window. There are lots of really beautiful walks here in tiny West Weymss and the beach is right there. It's a short drive to a bigger town for shopping. it's about 30-40 minutes from Edinburgh Airport. Lynn has been the perfect host. She has been there whenever I had any questions or needed advise. She's absolutely wonderful. I'm really going to miss this spot when I move, but I feel very lucky to have found this place and to have been able to relax and unwind here.

We loved the area and the location was perfect for catching the tram, groceries, restaurants/pubs within walking and the peacefulness it provided. Highly recommend!

Great cottage, very well kitted out, lovely touches and the previous reviews on the comfiness of the beds was very accurate. We managed to sit out for breakfast in the beautiful garden. Great location, easy to get around. Would recommend a walk down to Pan Ha and some food in the Harbour masters cafe ( book first) We discovered that we had lost the front door key at 9pm on Friday night. Response was so quick it was so appreciated. We had tired kids and just wanted to go back to the house. We got a replacement key within 20 mins! If they will have us back we would definitely book again 😁

Second time staying here as it’s perfect for a family of four. My children love watching the planes and trains from the living room and have lots of space to play, and enjoyed exploring the garden. The house is very comfortable and cosy and the kitchen is well equipped. Definitely need a car to stay here as it’s a long way from any public transport but it was a great base for visiting Edinburgh and the surrounding area.

What a beautiful place to stay for a family visit to Edinburgh. This 5 bed house sits right next to a loch but is also only 10 minutes from 2 supermarkets and numerous take aways and restaurants. A 30 minute drive into Edinburgh was manageable and straightforward also. The owners, Theresa and David live next door and were friendly and helpful. I could not fault this stay at all, it was just what we wanted. Thank you so much, Theresa and David.

The best possible stay in Scotland. Centrally located for St. Andrew’s, the Highlands & Edinburgh, yet a nice relaxing place to get back to in the evening.

Very peaceful location and nice view of the forth bridges. Great to learn about the local history and ferry services over 100's of years.

Marianna was always reachable and responded immediately to any minor questions we had. Our stay was very comfortable and the place is perfect. The location is very peaceful and we felt at home.

Caroline, along with her amazing staff, made our family feel immediately welcomed and cared for, as though we were an extension of her own family. The estate was absolutely breathtaking to behold in person. The only thing that made an equal impression was the hospitality received that was above and beyond our expectations. Caroline and the Cairns Farm staff were not only very professional, they were very supportive, approachable, and responsive to every request we had, which in turn enhanced the experience for our family to become the most impactful and successful time we’ve spent together. I can’t thank them enough for their kindness nor put into words my gratitude for the experience of a lifetime the Cairns Farm Estate facilitated for us. We will be returning as soon as possible. This place was great! Perfect for us three travelers (two adults and young kiddo). It's cozy, walkable, and not too far from Edinburgh, but away from the hustle and bustle. Mind the heat! We turned it on and struggled to bring the temp back down. Luc provided great instructions for how to get into the building. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone.

Kirkcaldy is a nice town to stay in when visiting Edinburgh. Here you get the peace and quiet and the proximity to the sea. Food and drink are much cheaper here and the people are friendly. The thing to keep in mind is that the train one way to Edinburgh costs about 11 pounds per ticket, I recommend to buy tickets with the app Scotrail. It takes about 10-15 minutes to walk to the station from the apartment.

Katie was a great host (very responsive and helpful with check-in and check-out). The flat was in a great location, a short walk from the beach. The living room was comfy with nice big windows to let the sunlight in. The bed was nice and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans, as well as some handy pantry items. The parking bay provided with the flat was a plus, making it convenient to get to a supermarket or explore the surrounding area. Overall had a lovely stay.

Absolutely loved our stay at Emma’s apartment. We enjoyed the neighbourhood and it was easy to get to tourist attractions walking or with a bus! The apartment itself is well equipped, clean, comfortable and great interior decor! Highly recommend!!!
