This is a detached barn that can sleep up to 6 people ,the extra bed is a futon in the upstairs bedroom,bedding is provided.. it has plenty of safe secure parking.. a patio area with seating..it is close to nature and lots of outdoor space. Great for motorbikers too. It has underfloor heating, log burner in the lounge, regular oven fridge freezer, microwave. We have direct access to local bridleways, cycle ways and off road cycling. Lots of moorland directly behind the property for walking.

Take it easy at this unique and cosy cottage with a real open fire and original beams. The cottage was constructed in approximately 1750 during the reign of George II. The cottage is constructed from wood and stone and there is not a straight wall, ceiling or door casing in the house! You learn very fast (after banging your head once or twice) to duck under the low door frames and beams. The cottage is small, quirky and very cosy but with a suprisingly large master bedroom and bathroom.

Perfect stay at Debs. The house is lovely in a nice quiet location and was spotlessly clean. Beds were very comfy. Nice new bathroom, and everything you need in the kitchen. What made this even better was lots of additional things like providing cereals for breakfast, and there was a wide range of toiletries available to use. Highly recommended, thanks a lot, Debs.

We stayed here for two months as we were visiting family close by. For a long term stay, we can say without a doubt we had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped with herbs, spices, dishes and a variety of cooking tools. The bathroom had plenty of amenities for use. Spare bedding for change over days. Laundry facilities. Comfy bed with large tv for chill evenings. My husband and I were happy to have a ‘home’ to come home to after days out and about. There were stores nearby (Asda,Lidl, Starbucks etc) for groceries. Walking distance too. The house was very clean and there was even lovely thoughtful items such as bread and milk for us when we got there. Communication was great. Messages with questions responded to in a matter of minutes. Very kind and thoughtful hosts.

The house is beautiful. The Wisteria over the pergola was in full bloom! There’s everything you could possibly need especially in the kitchen. We spent most of the time we were in the house sitting in the conservatory. The beds are very comfortable and my daughter really enjoyed the ‘snuggly den’ nature of the room she used! It’s a real shame that guests cannot access the lake side.

After having a huge flood. As a family we have been lucky enough to stay here for 3 months. Emma was a brilliant host so accomodating. Its only due to my inadequate insurance company that we arent still at the property A home from home but magical so much space. Weve truely been spoiled and nothing will match up. We could have stayed forever. Nothing was too much for Emma the kids and even the irritating puppy were welcomed .

Reluctantly left after a fantastic two-night stay at the Rossendale Cottages. We’d stayed in this beautiful & spacious studio accommodation and absolutely loved it. The staff are fantastic and were so kind throughout. The area is lovely & the walks nearby are great fun - especially to the singing tree! The bed was comfy, food yummy & hosts were gracious and lovely. I’d love to come back!

In Hoylake to visit friends and play some golf. The Bread Shed was ideal for our needs, spotlessly clean, comfortable and within 2mins of the bars and restaurants. James and Fliss were excellent hosts and had a welcome pack of home made bread and snacks for our arrival. The views from the garden are stunning and we won’t hesitate to book on our return to Hoylake

The Highland Cow Bothy

We stayed in the lovely highland cow bothy for two nights. The hottub was ready for our arrival, the view was perfect and it was very peaceful. The cabin was clean and spacious with a good hot shower. We ordered the birthday package and the cupcakes were incredible! Would recommend this Airbnb as a perfect, peaceful retreat. The host was responsive and helpful.

Saw Callum the host out whilst in the evening - this dudes got some great moves, and an even more fantastic lodge! The lodge has everything you need - mostly because Callum built it all himself - he’s thought of everything. It’s easy to access and check-in, cool decor and open living space, nice amount of privacy despite being in the garden of someone’s house, loved our stay here!

Directions were easy to follow and check-in instructions were clear. Eric’s view was spotless with everything we needed for a peaceful weekend away.
