A Perfect Waterfront Getaway: Cozy, Clean, and Family-Friendly with an Exceptional Host! Our stay at this Airbnb was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the waterfront location, offering serene views and a truly relaxing atmosphere. The home itself was very clean, which is always a top priority, and it was evident that great care is taken to maintain a spotless environment for guests. The helpful host truly made our experience exceptional. Communication was prompt and clear, and they went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, whenever required. This level of hospitality significantly enhanced our stay. The well-equipped kitchen was a dream for preparing meals. It had everything one could possibly need, from essential cookware and utensils to a good range of appliances. Amazing stay and a lovely place, tons of amenities! Really close to bus stations and the ION light rail, and very quiet neighborhood. Melody and Fred are also extremely responsive.

We had an amazing stay at Jane and Steve’s place! They were very warm and were always accommodating and ensuring our stay was going well. Jane even ensured we got to our trail start and end one day. Everything about the “loft” was comfortable, the banana bread was amazing and it felt like we were visiting old friends. Thanks so much for helping to make a rainy cold weekend enjoyable!

Lovely spot to stay with the family. We had such a nice weekend. Meaford is great place and close to both Owen sound and Collingwood to explore further. The house was comfortable and a great place for our family and dog to relax. It had everything we needed

Aram's place was brilliant and the house is decorated very well. The sun room is the best place in the house, me and my friends spent most of our time there. Aram has made a lot of games available to play may it be indoors or ourdoors. He was very responsive and was able to accomidate our requests. I would love to visit again.

I wish this was my house. Truly, that’s my only complaint. The entire place is stunning, but the backyard is a true oasis. The photos don’t even come close to doing it justice. It’s peaceful, beautifully set up, and the kind of space you’ll find yourself daydreaming about long after you leave. Inside, everything was spotless, stylish, and thoughtfully put together. The bed was super comfortable, the location was ideal, and every little detail felt intentional and warm. It’s one of those rare places that feels like home the second you walk in. Hands down the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in After almost three years of Airbnbs around the world, this one in Canada tops them all. We stayed in both the Lookout (the little house) and the Pine Lodge (above the store)—and didn’t want to leave. The Lookout felt like a cozy sanctuary: garden, sauna, spotless, fully equipped. The Pine Lodge had a steam room (huge bonus!), comfy couches, a big dining table, and a fire always going. But what made it truly special were Krystal and Madison—the kindest, most caring hosts we’ve ever had. It felt like arriving at friends’, not strangers’. During a freak ice storm, they moved us to a backup-powered house and even brought us food. Just wow. Local tips: • Cawaja Store: best coffee, insane ice cream, and local broths, pies, soups. • Mums Restaurant: old-school diner, fresh, cooked-to-order food. • The Friendly Corner: lovely for sunny outdoor meals.

A fabulous beach front location, within steps of a sandy and shallow waterfront. Tess and Jeff are great hosts and extremely helpful. The accommodation is super cosy and much bigger than expected. It had everything we needed and more! The kitchenette may be small but it is well stocked and we didn’t have any issues with cooking. The BBQ is a gas one and very good. We enjoyed eating outside on the large sized deck. Even though it’s shared with the owners, the privacy screen was ample. The beach was pretty quiet and made for a relaxing stay. We sadly didn’t get to witness any sunsets since it was a little cloudy, but you can see how amazing it would be! Thank you Tess and Jeff for your kind hospitality.

Myra is a lovely host and the space is beautiful. The basement unit is cool, private and well laid out. I greatly appreciated the stocked tea cupboard and the complimentary shower toiletries. The toilet paper and towels were beautifully folded and it felt like a staying in a very private hotel space. Myra was communicative, kind, quick to respond and checked in to make sure that everything was comfortable. Expectations of the space, and the check in/check out instructions were very clear. The unit was incredibly tidy and clean- clearly well loved and cared for by the host. Myra is clearly dedicated to making sure that your stay is as comfortable as possible. Would recommend and stay again. A great spot to land after a long day. Thank you Myra!

Such a nice place. Cozy, cute, and clean.. It was very peaceful on the private back deck. There is also a big backyard for the pups to run around in. Its a perfect place with delicious restaurants steps away. We will most definitely stay here again

This was the nicest Air Bnb we have ever stayed at. Very clean and homey. It was fully stocked with all of the things you could think of. It’s beautifully decorated, has lots of towels and blankets available and makes you feel right at home. Nina was super responsive and kind. I would highly recommend staying here and will definitely choose this place when I’m back in the area. This place is a gem!

The place is clean and cozy! Very easy to find and access. There is a beach behind it with about two minute’s walking. I definitely recommend this place.

It's an amazing place for couple to relax, quiet and peaceful. The most I like is the lake which is 5 minutes walking only. Christina is very kind and helpful, I totally recommend this place.

Our stay in Gerry's studio was fantastic! Charming and sweet. Everything was just as described and exactly what we were hoping for. Would definitely stay here again. :)

We had a wonderful 3-night stay at this chic, spa-like cottage in Saugeen Shores near Port Elgin. The location was perfect—peaceful yet close to everything. Every piece of furniture and decor felt thoughtfully chosen, creating a cozy and stylish atmosphere. We especially loved the multiple serene seating areas at both the front and back of the property—perfect for relaxing with a coffee or glass of wine. Candice was a fantastic host—very communicative and helpful throughout our stay. A truly rejuvenating getaway!

I was so happy to find Carol’s lovely, cozy, homey cottage. It has a warm, welcoming feeling the moment you step through the door. I think it’s all the beautiful hand hewn wood and stone features that give the cottage its immediate warmth. It has everything you need for a great stay. And I love being able to throw open all the windows and feel the fresh air. One of my favourite birds is the chickadee, and it’s delightful to sit and watch them come to the window feeder. Your idea of adding a hummingbird feeder is lovely. I really appreciated that Carol made sure to explain that this is not a high end, fancy place … but a quiet, serene, comfortable haven. I will definitely contemplate another visit to this welcoming little cottage that is so easy to call home for a quiet retreat. Without meeting Carol personally, I have the sense that she is a lovely, warm, caring person, who is attentive and committed to providing a welcoming and comfortable space for a quiet get away. We enjoyed our stay in Wiarton at Ildiko's cottage on the lake. He facilitated a smooth stay for us with prompt communication, clear instructions, detailed guidelines. The cottage is tucked away on a quiet street with friendly neighbors making you feel right at home. The lake access is spectacular especially with the availability of kayaks and paddle boats at the cottage, giving you an adventure right at home as well as a leg or upper body workout. The cottage is located in an excellent area, not too far from Collingwood to go jet skiing in the warmer months, not too far from Tobermory to go hiking, sightseeing, scuba-diving and not too far from the nearest town to restock on basic amenities. Overall we found our cottage stay to be relaxing and a good recharge for us, we would recommend family and friends to stay here given the opportunity.

What a wonderful place. It has tons of character. I watched the sunrise from my bed. Lots of bird activity on the bay which was so entertaining. It’s such a lovely spot I’m coming back in the fall.

David was very accommodating and responsive host. He always wanted to give us the most accurate description of what to expect. The cottage is very nice and quite, we were there for the weekend along with another couple in the property in the neighboring house. We had a great stay and enjoyed being outside for the most of the time enjoying the kayaking and the outdoor fire camp. The house is nice and comfy, has all necessary things for a short couple's retreat. Overall great and we already booked to return in the summer, hopefully with a warmer weather labeling us to swim and snorkel in the beautiful area.

Everything about this place was just what we wanted - a beautiful, peaceful getaway where we could relax and unwind. The hosts’s instructions were very clear and the house’s amenities were plentiful! The bedding was super cozy and the hot tub nice and clean. Our dogs really enjoyed the spacious backyard and we loved how many outdoor seating options were available for us to enjoy the fresh lake air. This place is well worth the price and we can’t wait to book it again!

We had a wonderful time in Steve and Jane's quaint and cozy cottage! The beautiful view and the sound of the water made our time spent there enjoyable and peaceful. The cottage was clean, instructions were clear and they had everything you might need to make your stay a wonderful one.
