Vacation rentals with breakfast in West Dunbartonshire Council

We had a great stay for a meetup with friends. Well equipped and spacious accomodation. Good starting place for visiting the Scottish highlands

I was made very welcome as soon as I arrived. The room was lovely and so was the breakfast provided. Lovely quiet road with plenty of room to park and it felt like a very safe area. Would definitely recommend!

I have absolutely no negatives. This place is amazing. Extremely clean and tidy with everything you could need. But most importantly Lynn is super friendly and made me feel more like a friend, than a guest. Her beautiful home is extremely spacious and feels full of love and happiness. Thank you for being such a wonderful host.

What a wonderful house. Everything as described. Didn't get to meet the host as unfortunately she was away dealing with an urgent family matter. Despite this she still allowed me to stay and was extremely responsive. Location was perfect for the airport. I will certainly use again when required for any future flights. Thank you so much

We were really pleased with our stay at Lorna's, nothing was too much trouble & it was nice to meet Lorna when we arrived. Lorna's house was a real home from home, everywhere was clean & tidy, it was a nice touch that she left us with provisions when we arrived, which she didn't have to do. l would highly recommend.

We spent three days at Patricia's, we highly recommend her accommodation. The welcome was very good, everything was as described. Access to the accommodation is very good, the location is very good for access to the city. Great stay at Patricia's

Diana is a responsive and friendly host. This room is suitable for both short and long stays. Diana does her best to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere during your stay, and I will definitely take advantage of her hospitality again!

This was an absolutely lovely stay. Everything from the cleanliness of the room, to the breakfast served to the friendly conversations had among the host and the fellow travelers. Also, the subway station was just two blocks away for those looking to explore Glasgow. I could not recommend this Airbnb anymore. Just perfect!

A most excellent time! Richard saved me when I desperately needed a place to stay at the last minute. He responded instantly and was just so lovely. He was very responsive and flat was in a great spot with I must say a very comfy bed!!

another great stay at Tom's place, I love this flat, easy to walk into town, plenty shops and bars on doorstep. I was met by Cathy, such a lovely lady, flexible check in and out. flat is spotless, very comfy sofas and bed.

Another great stay at Lisa’s lovely flat. So handy for the pubs, restaurants and walks on the beach. The flat is clean, comfortable and very well equipped with the added bonus of being pet friendly. Highly recommended.

I can't recommend Brendan as a Host enough. You can tell he's passionate about what he does and he's extremely helpful. There were many thoughtful gestures in the flat and the space was pristinely clean. The location is convenient, and very easy to access from town. It's great value for money and I would definitely love to return some day.

We had a wonderful time in Lesley’s immaculate home. There was LOADS of space which was wonderful particularly as our group contained people of different generations. There were many things which we simply didn’t have time to use but we could have happily lived in the property for months, it was so exceptionally well equipped. It was very easy to communicate with Lesley from the moment I booked right through to leaving. We also bumped into Patrick who helps out with the property and he was super-friendly. All-in-all a wonderful place which made our special occasion at Glasgow Art School really memorable and perfect. Thank-you!

We had a fab stay in Eva’s flat and she was a great host. The photos really don’t do the place justice. The neighbourhood is lovely, very safe and quiet. We weren’t there long enough to appreciate a fraction of what Glasgow has to offer so we’d definitely come back and stay here again!

we're so glad we discovered Brenda's place..our first trip to the area...and so relieved we didn't stay in the more busy, touristy hotspot of Loch Lomond. Loch Long has a beauty and peace of its own. The house and garden was a treasure trove, and Brenda's hospitality warm and welcoming...breakfast top notch!! We loved chatting with Brenda and Stuart...with the added treat of sharing an ad lib music session! Thoroughly recommend!!

Margaret and Ken were wonderful hosts in this late May 2025. Their house is on a lovely site (there's a flower nursery outside; the view from the eating area is superb) which is very serene. Margaret welcomed us as soon as we arrived in the drive and made us feel at home. The room was clean and there were even personnal touches since it was our honeymoon. Last thing, the scottish breakfast was excellent, don't hesitate to try it. Thanks again for the stay, we will come again if we have a chance !

Brenda was incredibly kind and gave us lots of great recommendations for hidden gems in the area. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and the place was so quiet and peaceful at night. The surroundings were beautiful, with a lovely garden to relax in. I absolutely adored Snowball and Hermione—so fluffy and friendly! We truly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back.

I had a great stay with Pat and Allan. The bed was so comfy, the shower was great and the breakfast was delicious. They are both so friendly and helpful. I highly recommend and will stay again if I'm back in Helensburgh.

We really enjoyed our stay at Brenda's BNB. The room was as advertised, and was quite spacious. Brenda (and Snowball + Hermione) was hospitable and friendly, and we enjoyed the breakfast provided.

The best place to stay, like at home. Vickie is a lovely and kindly person.Her home is a quiet place, with nature all over the house.The terrace along the river is incredible and the breakfast very generous.We had a lot of discussions with Vickie and with other travellers. It was a very very good expérience, we recommanded!

George and Sandra are by far the most adorable and caring inn hosts we have ever met. The inn is a feast for the eyes. We were treated to an environment full of stories, excellent meals and authentic rooms to retreat and relax. We were equipped with all comforts and could start our excursions cheerfully every morning after a hearty breakfast. For a nice, cosy and authentic inn experience, the Green Kettle Inn is your go-to.

Dear Marion, Visiting you and yoyr mother was one of the highlights of our trip. Your home, the warmth and welcome, your stories and the friendships. The hospitality was great. The room is beautiful, big, clean and charming. Too bad we live in different countries. But for a light moment, it was really fun to meet. We wish you much health and happiness.
