Really enjoyed this snug and cozy yurt. Wonderful quiet staycation for a birthday getaway. Loved the heated outdoor shower in the trees, and the colorful lighting and tapestries inside. The bed was snuggly and warm and it was so relaxing to listen to the rain outside. The Observatory restaurant & Bella's Italian Bakery we're delicious book ends for our stay

I wish we had more than 1,000 characters to describe how much we loved this place. First off, our host Jennifer was more than you could ask for when you go on vacation. She went as far as to check on us after our first night to see how we settled in. The yurt was gorgeous and seemed very well lived in and held a lot of happy memories, ours being among them now. I can’t express how much we loved the space! From the out door shower, the trees, the hot tub, the swing, and everything in between we hope to come back and enjoy the space some more. Thank you jennifer for giving us exactly what we wanted 💗

Absolutely a beautiful Yurt with beautiful views & even more beautiful souls the straw house team went way beyond & felt more like family then a staff. everything about a vacation away from redding was perfect , food . thank you so much for bringing down blankets & chairs & a table for us by the river to lay & read & relax. the cafe'is heaven & can't wait to come back for more. in love with All of it. 🤗 very blessed to gave found this place. What a great place to stay! Came up to fish and couldn’t have stayed at a better place. Johnny B was a great host and the round house was clean and very comfortable. Will be back.

This was a beautiful place to stay! We enjoyed every moment at the Yurt! Beautiful views all around! The place has everything you need! Linda was very responsive and proactive about solving any issues we may have had. It’s a cozy Glamping spot! A must book if available!

Our hosts May and Jason went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and make our stay amazing for us. We chose this house to hold a small wedding ceremony and reception. It was absolutely beautiful inside and out. May and Jason were generous, kind, and easy to work with. Wedding planning was a breeze, and we had a wonderful time from start to finish. We thank them from the bottom of our hearts for the love and care that they put into preparing this special day for us. It was truly unforgettable. They are amazing and we wish them the best. We absolutely recommend staying with them ❤️

Fantastic stay. The yurt is even more charming than the photos. They have thought of every little thing you might need without any clutter. The beds (futons) are very comfortable, and the yurt itself is spotless. The shower with stones and pebbles was very clever, an outdoor shower that isn’t actually outside - lovely! There is a very sweet little winery just next door, I’d very much recommend a visit. It was a great stopover traveling from Seattle to Bend, but I’d like to stay longer next time and explore all the hidden wineries nearby! Delightful.

Lovely stay in a gorgeous place, this is a place that feels sacred. A place you respect and honor. A place to find yourself. Its obvious that this host views his land as a labor of love, it shows in so many ways. Peter was awesome. we really didn't need anything, but questions were answered quickly. I found it to be more like an integrated experience with a beautiful yurt, stunning beauty of the mountains and Redwoods..not just a place to lay your head at night. Hummingbirds visted often, frgrant flowers hreet you at every turn. Both the restaurans we visited were great for breakfast, dinner we grilled on the yurt patio. There is a flat top, gas BBQ, and outdoor gas heater. All the tools needed were available. however there so many restaurants close by, along hwy 1 or head into Santa Cruz. if you have a rambunctious dog, I wouldn't, unless you can be on point about watching. We only had 4 days. 2 weeks would of been perfect. still, very grateful for the time we had.

Absolutely loved our stay! Very cute yurt that was incredibly spacious and comfortable. Very comfy bed! I would absolutely stay again.

This was our second trip to this Yurt and every time we go it is. Wonderful experience. The space is beautiful and peaceful! We will be going back again in the future!

Very unique place to stay if you are looking to get out of town. There has been lots of love and time spent by Dan and Gab making this a special place to visit!

I had a much needed peaceful solo retreat to the big island and this place was exactly how I expected it to be! The birds were so happy and the frogs were very chatty at night. The amenities made my stay even better as I did a lot of hiking and was able to do laundry and take a hot shower and cozy up in bed after a long day. The kitchen had all of the basic utensils and dishes so I was easily able to make meals. The gas stove was great for heating up water for tea in the mornings to enjoy while sitting on the front porch. I unfortunately had to do some work during my stay but the internet speed was great and I was able to have video call without issues. I have already recommended this place to my friends and family! I cannot wait for the opportunity to bring my family here one day as I would certainly stay here again!

Mary’s spot in Big Sur is absolutely amazing! There is something magical about Big Sur, and Mary manages to capture and harness that energy in her space- beautifully decorated, but also perfectly functional- from the well equipped kitchen to the hot tub, wood stove, and sleeping arrangements- no detail is overlooked. I look forward to returning whenever the opportunity presents itself.

This place is truly magical and unique experience. My wife and I went with our 5 year old and 2 year old and had a blast. We stayed at Fish Camp and had the entire 200 acre property to ourselves - other than the 200+ animals and the owner's son, Alex. The kids (and us) had an absolute blast - hanging with the animals, exploring on the gator, riding around in the power wheels gator, hiking, swimming in the pond, and generally exploring. Making our food was super easy in their excellently set up kitchen and dining area. The setting is beautiful! Highly recommend!

The yurt was easy to find and the setting is simply beautiful. We very much enjoyed the ability for our dog to be outside with us as the property is fully fenced. He could explore off-leash as we soaked up the peaceful setting - having coffee on the deck, making s’mores in the fire pit and throwing around the frisbee with our kid. The bed was comfortable, the sleeper sofa less so but my husband was okay with it. The kitchen is a bit sparse - there was no pot to boil water, but we managed to boil our pasta in the electric pan that was provided. There were fresh eggs and butter in the fridge which was a pleasant surprise. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, bowls, cups and glasses. Everything was clean and in working order. Tyler was quick to respond to any questions and concerns that we had and his mother, Bonnie, was on-site for a few hours of the day for hands-on help. Overall a pleasant stay and we would happily come back.

We had a very relaxing time at this yurt! Beautiful scenery, lots of wildlife (heard not seen), and very minimal traffic. If you want solitude and peace, this is the place!

We absolutely loved our stay! The yurt was perfectly cozy, beautiful, and clean. Perhaps the most coziest Airbnb bed I've slept in - the comforter and pillows were clouds. It had everything we needed, and the land was so peaceful and lovely. Mary was so helpful and responsive for anything we needed! We loved taking a stroll up the road to see the neighbor horses, and while the yurt was private and remote, it's easy to get around for anything you need. I would absolutely stay again!

Such a cute place to stay. We mostly used it to sleep but after a long day of exploring Olympic National Park it was such a peaceful space to go back and relax at. Loved the deck on the back with the bird feeders. Personally I love hearing all the nature noises but if you are sensitive to loud nature noises such a birds, wind, or rain it may be a bit much for you so maybe plan a summer trip. Overall a really cozy and comfortable spot tucked away.

Beautiful stay! We loved the yurt and the amazing nature all around it. It’s decorated incredibly well, super comfy, and has amazing sights all around it. Pretty little stream just a few steps away. Host was always responsive and very helpful. Highly recommend!

What a lovely place! We absolutely loved our time here. The yurt and surroundings are so peaceful. We loved the babbling brook flowing right by the yurt. Our 1.5 year old absolutely loved playing outside. We will definitely visit again!

We had such a peaceful and memorable stay at the yurt! The setting is beautiful—tucked away in wine country with the soothing soundtrack of birdsong by day and gentle rain on the yurt roof at night. It was the perfect blend of cozy and wild. One of the highlights was watching our pup play with the hosts’ friendly dog, Raylan Marshall Given (yes, that’s his full name and he deserves it). They were instant buddies, which made the trip even more special for us. The space was clean, well-stocked, and inviting—an ideal spot to relax after exploring the area. Would absolutely stay again! 🌿🐾🍷
