Our light bright garden view annexe is ideally situated for enjoying all that the Jurassic coastline has to offer. The harbour at West Bay (setting for ITV’s drama Broadchurch) is a pleasant 10 minute walk away. The bustling historic town of Bridport is only 5 minutes by car or about 25 minutes on foot. There you will find a twice weekly street market, a variety of shops and a good choice of pubs and cafes. Both Bridport Leisure Centre and the Golf Club with driving range are nearby.

Just spent the week at 'Little Africa', what a fantastic time we had. The cabin is simply stunning, gorgeously decorated and everything you could need. Its a cosy and very calming space, we were both so relaxed and comfortable the entire time. Nicky was a warm and welcoming host, always stpping for a chat when we saw her and Luca, her little dog, is a gentle lovely little chap! Could not recomend staying here enough, the cabin is a wonderful retreat and I would love to return 😊 xx

We had a fantastic 2 night stay at the chapel. Lovely interiors, comfy beds and very peaceful surroundings. The beach is only a short drive and Stephanie recommended some delicious food options- The parlour for Italian in the coolest setting and sundorbon authentic Indian who delivered to the door…would highly recommend both! Overall a little gem!

Beautifully restored home in the most extraordinary location - opposite the Church, and with the remains of the ancient Abbey just down the road. Everything in the house is the finest quality - even the hairdryers are GHD! You’ll be very comfortable. Pollyanna was a perfect host. Three characterful pubs in this small, quaint town, and just a 15 minute drive to Dorchester (go to the Curiosity Centre!). Would very happily stay again.

Fossil And The Cross Cottage

We had a really lovely holiday at Fossil and the Cross cottage. As others have said, the photos simply don’t do it justice; it’s a delightful warm comfortable cottage set in beautiful grounds with far reaching views down to the coast. The sitting room is light and spacious and has a TV which wasn’t detailed on the listing but is nice for cosy nights in. The cottage is well located for visiting places of interest and there are some lovely beaches nearby which are dog friendly out of season. We would especially recommend Hive beach and cafe nearby but we also visited Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door, Lyme Regis and Charmouth, Portland Bill, Hardy’s cottage and Bridport market. Thank you for the welcome chocolates. We would highly recommend Fossil and the Cross cottage and will definitely return. Wi-Fi would be a bonus.

What a wonderful, unique place to stay. Being a train enthusiast, it was the best experience to stay at Roselands. A lot of love, care and creativity has gone into this special place. The location is fantastic - so much within walking distance and in a beautiful part of Dorset. We met both Marion and Charles who were lovely and took time to give local tips and explain the history of the home. Lovely food at the local pub - but the house has everything you can need and more. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Thanks so much.
