It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. Peace, space, and privacy. Surrounded by nature reserves, 2 kilometers away from the IJsselmeer and the beach. In the 3,300 m² (35,500 sq. ft.) back garden of our farmhouse, there are two freestanding tiny houses with a large private garden and their own entrance. Layout: Living room, kitchen equipped with combi oven, induction hob, refrigerator, and Dolce Gusto machine, bedroom with double box spring, bathroom with underfloor heating and rain shower, wood-burning stove, and sleeping loft.

Renovated old farmhouse near the IJsselmeer

Enjoy peace, space, and coziness at this authentic farmhouse. Our farmhouse is built in 1904 to West Frisian model, and has served as a garnish shop in addition to farmhouse. When we bought the farm, he was 116 years old, and had the necessary overdue maintenance. Little by little we are renovating the house, so it now has well-functioning heating again! We're putting Airbnb's proceeds back into the home, so we're now saving up for renovating the roof.

Romantic stay with a view from your bed on the water and a 2-person swing. From the love-seat you can watch TV or the fireplace (heating) and you have it cozy in the winter or you can sit outside on the terrace by the water in the summer to daydream, read or play games. Hot tub, kayak or 2 SUP boards can be booked. There are also bicycles, which you can borrow for free. The bathroom is 1 step outside the pipo and all for you.

This modern furnished holiday home is located in Opperdoes near the IJsselmeer lake. There is free Wi-Fi and parking at the house. Sheets and towels are included. The centre of Medemblik is only 2 kilometers away. Amsterdam and Callantsoog (North Sea beach) are a 40 minutes drive. Also Texel is nice to visit. This property is located on a site that is partly privately rented (and partly offered through Dormio Resort).
