Vacation rentals with breakfast in Werdenberg District

The place was truly amazing! We needed somewhere to stay on our way through Switzerland and booked last minute. The place and the host’s hospitality exceeded our expectations. We felt very welcomed and were served an amazing breakfast in the morning. Everything was just as described and spotlessly clean. And let’s not forget the breathtaking views from the balcony! ❤️✨ Thank you Thomas!

Great hosts, very friendly and kind. Great breaktfast for a reasonable price. Cozy private room with own bath, where privacy is equivalent to a hotel.

Dans un cadre de nature enchanteur au jardin joliment arborisé et dans un quartier très paisible, la maison d'Elisabeth dégage un cachet certain. Elle date des années 1960 mais est bien entretenue. La chambre et la pièce attenante sont spacieuses et très propres, tout comme la salle de bain. Elisabeth et sa famille sont accueillants et flexibles, et leur petit-déjeuner est vraiment savoureux et copieux ! Nous y reviendrions volontiers lors d'un futur voyage, encore plus volontiers à la belle saison pour profiter du jardin.

Unser Aufenthalt bei Stephan war super! Er und seine Partnerin sind sehr nette und zuvorkommende Menschen mit sehr viel Gastfreundlichkeit. Das Zimmer ist einfach aber komplett ausreichend ausgestattet. Der Rest des Hauses ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und dekoriert. Es gibt viele tolle Pflanzen... :) Wir konnten seine Küche komplett benutzen, es war alles da was das Herz begehrt. Uns hat es sehr gefallen, wir würden uns freuen wieder zu kommen.

Monika und Peter sind super nette Gastgeber:innen! Beide sehr unkompliziert und hilfreich! Für uns ist die Lage bestechend und alles rund um die Wohnung ist wunderbar! Vielen Dank!

Wir wurden sehr freundlich von Elisabeth und Andreas empfangen. Anlässlich des Schwägalpschwingfestes hatten wir für zwei Nächte die beiden Zimmer mit Bad gebucht. Am Sonntag um 06:30 Uhr hat uns Elisabeth sogar Kaffee und selbstgemachte, frische Weggli serviert. Das Ehepaar gab uns hilfreiche Informationen betreffend dem Shuttlebus. Am Abreisetag durften wir ein super Frühstück geniessen. Elisabeth hatte frühmorgens frisches Brot gebacken, wau was für ein Service. Wir haben uns sehr wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Simon und Sabrina sind sehr aufmerksame, gleichzeitig nicht aufdringliche Gastgeber. Mman fühlt sich sofort wohl. Super schöne Unterkunft mit viel Herz eingerichtet. Habe die herrliche Umgebung und die Nähe zu St. Gallen sehr geschätzt und richtig genossen. Ich freue mich auf ein anderes Mal. Vielen Dank Euch beiden!

Mega tolles Ambiente, sehr freundliche Vermieter einfach super - Bruno hat uns sogar noch mit einer Fackel für tolles Licht im Garten gesorgt! Es war nur sehr warm im Zimmer - aber wir haben ja auch Hochsommer ☀️

Zweckmässig und einfach eingerichtetes Zimmer, das mir alles geboten hatte, was ich brauchte und mir wünschte während meinem Aufenthalt in St. Gallen. Unkomplizierte Kommunikation mit Afrim (Check-In und Check- out). Zweckmässig eingerichtete Küche, die ich mitnutzen konnte. Ich hatte alles, was ich brauchte. Danke und bis ein andermal.

De liefste dame die we ooit meegemaakt hebben. Ontzettend hartelijk en gastvrij. Je had niet het gevoel dat je in iemand anders z’n huis was die er ook nog woonde. Meer dan voldoende privacy en een prima uitvalsbasis voor een doorreis of, in ons geval, slaapplek tussen de activiteiten door.

Ralf welcomed me with a great smile and open arms. The stay was very comfortable and relaxing. I recommend this place. There was also food in the morning and in the evening. Very great host.

Being someone’s guest is the best way to spend a night somewhere! This was my second amazing experience, where the host (on @airbnb ) was a home owner who decided to share her home with travelers. Last time in Palma de Mallorca, this time in Alt Sankt Johann in Toggenburg! Corinne’s dream was to start her own B&B. A dream came true for her and the best experience for slow and easy travelers. Nothing was too fancy but everything worked! The bathroom has its charm, the breakfast, which was included in the price, was super nice and homy! Beautiful view from the room in an amazing valley. The river Thur offers a calm place to switch off, the @klangwelt_toggenburg museum in the village is simply beautiful! @churfirstentrailrun is all around if you are looking for a nice trail running place!

what are you looking for? the next sunrise? white sand beach? snow capped mountian? how about a new sporitual journey? have you ever consisdered the often attack scriptures of the bible? The world is often inviting me to envision sunrises painting the sky in hues of gold, but who is the author? Who is the artist? you want to feel the warmth of white sand beneath your feet? I get it. But have you ever consider the warmth of Christ? His unconditional love? I know, you want to stand in awe before the majesty of snow-capped mountains. They have that here. But, how can we take it with us? how do we bring it home? and wouldn't it be a joy to share it with others? Be honest, the idea of embarking on a new spiritual journey beckons.  to pulse with the promise of discovery, much like a pilgrim setting forth on an uncharted path. the path that Christ set within, the desire His spirit keeps reaching out to you with. Go Patricia! around the table, simple breakfast? maybe more!

The facilities were spotless and bright and modern. My only criticism is that the WiFi was weak. Also there wasn’t much to do or see in Waldstatt, but the train station was very close so easy to jump on the train to go somewhere.

La estancia en casa de Claudia fue genial. La habitación y el baño eran amplios y estuvimos muy cómodos. La casa se encuentra a apenas 8-10 minutos andando de la estación de tren de Appenzell y es muy fácil de llegar. El desayuno es preparado por Claudia cada mañana y es muy completo.

Die Villa Donkey ist ein sehr schönes, stilvolles und sauberes Bed&Breakfast mit sehr herzlichen und offenen Gastgebern! Wunderbar!

Very lovely stay. The home is in a great central location for hiking, 5 minutes walk to Appenzell train station which will take you to many starting points. The room is very comfortable and Claudia provides everything you need. Having breakfast provided is a great touch, and the dogs are very friendly as well!
