Monthly Rentals in Wenzenbach

We enjoyed a peaceful family holiday in this wonderful historic castle in a scenic part of Bavaria. Schloss Schönberg in Wenzenbach is being lovingly restored by host Hans who is generous with support and insight into local attractions and history. The place is authentic, featuring interesting historic portraits, a beautiful chapel and furniture, but also offers modern, high end finishes and services including WiFi, bathroom fittings and linens. Our rooms included facilities for meal preparation and cooking (induction hob), kettle, coffee maker, dishwasher so we made ourselves right at home. Close to Regensburg (with regular bus service) it is also about an hour’s drive from Munich. Wenzenbach is an appealing village with a nice bakerie and butcher shop, a good Italian restaurant and an interesting church plus pleasant walks. I would highly recommend it.

Very quiet and pleasant location with good connections to public transport and shopping.

This is a great place to stay. It is private and in walkable distance to grocery stores and restaurants. There was always parking on the street. It was quiet and comfortable. And best of all I didn't have any issues during my stay. I will definitely rent it again.

Franzi and Daniel are excellent hosts! The apartment was very clean and quiet. I stayed there for 1 month and had everything I needed. They were both responsive and helpful with my questions. I would recommend any of my friends and family to stay with them.
