A 5 minute walk up the high street and you can hop into the Llanfair light steam railway, it is also where the A450 starts, which offers easy access to the welsh coast like Aberdovey (just over 1Hour drive away) driving through parts of Snowdonia mountains

Tank Barn, a grade II listed Barn Conversion nestled on Cefn Digoll (Long Mountain) within the historic Leighton Estate and in close proximity to the England/Wales border and the Offa's Dyke national trail. Tank Barn offers everything you require for a quiet get away or action packed adventure, with Snowdonia and the mid-wales coast just over an hour away. Located 2-miles from Welshpool which offers a wide range of restaurants, bars and shops, Powis castle and the wider Montgomeryshire area.

Lake Farm Shepherds Hut, Self Catering & hot tub

Our beautiful Black Mountain shepherds hut and undercover hot tub is perched above our wildlife pond, with views over the Welsh hills. It includes double bed, en suite shower room, and for romantic evenings why not light the little hobbit stove. Adjacent to the hut is a charming boathouse, which houses the self catering facilities. Our boathouse opens up to appreciate the views & great outdoors or can be closed up for cosy times by the log burner. Check in is from 4pm Check out is 10.30am

Cosy cabin up a dirt track in secluded meadow next to Offa’s Dyke and a stream. Memory foam small double bed and extra folding single mattress and bedding. French doors open south to large patio, fire-pit, BBQ, chiminea, terraced lawns and views over fields and woods. Attached bathroom with hot shower, kitchenette and snug office hangout. Level tent pitch. Parking. Hiking galore, right from your doorstep. Ideal place for someone seeking a quiet retreat. Open March - November.

A Tranquil Retreat For Two.

Rural retreat for two, not suitable for pets/animals or children.Hillview has been converted from a barn to provide very spacious and contemporary accommodation, nestling in the side of a hill overlooking a valley. Hillview is well equipped with everything that you would need for your perfect holiday. The accommodation is arranged over two floors. The living area has an Aga wood burner to keep you warm and cosy in winter and radiators in each room supplied by an oil combi boiler.

Enchmarsh Farm barn

Small barn in the midst of a working Dairy and sheep farm right next to our home with fabulous walks all around. Double bed with small shower room and mini kitchen area in the corner of the room. Ideal as walking base or base when working in the area. Good parking just outside the barn - vehicles can be left whilst you walk the glorious hills around. Cooked breakfast available in the dining room in the farmhouse for £10 per person - includes the choice of sausage, bacon, eggs etc.

Sitting comfortably, in the wild meadow, above Upper Rectory is our delightful shepherd’s hut, well equipped for your arrival - idyllically located overlooking tranquil pastures and woodland, it, provides a cosy romantic and welcoming retreat, with a traditional wood burner to warm up the evenings. Ideal for walking and cycling, nearby nature reserve is home to 170 species of birds. Please note that WiFi is at best sporadic due to the rural location.
