From the moment we arrived we were captivated by the stunning views surrounding the accommodation. The highlight of our stay was definitely the hot tub. It was the perfect way to unwind. The fireplace added to the ambiance. We spent hours snuggled up with blankets, enjoying the crackling fire. Our host Cindy went above and beyond ro ensure our stay was perfect. From thoughtful touches in the cabin to quick responses to our questions. I highly recommend The Buchu Box to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in nature.

Colettes place was exactly what we needed to get away from the city's hustle and bustle. It was so peaceful. There were so many toys my daughter could play with and very child friendly which I appreciate. The place was clean and very neat. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay.

We had a lovely stay at Werner's place as two families with 5 adults and 3 kids. The space was the perfect size. Not too big that we felt disconnected from each other, but also not so small that we felt we were in each other's space. It's also a beautiful location, and just a few minutes walk to a winery. Very well stocked in terms of crockery and glassware. Will definitely book again!

We had a truly warming and memorable stay at this wonderful place. It’s an ideal spot for families, especially those with children. The area is peaceful and safe, with plenty of open space for kids to play and explore. Inside, the house is both cozy and well-equipped. The bedding was especially nice—fresh, clean, and super comfortable, which made for restful nights after busy days. One of our favorite features was the fireplace, which made the winter evenings feel extra special and added to the overall cozy atmosphere. The kitchen deserves a special mention—spacious, modern, and fully stocked with everything we needed to cook for the whole family. It made preparing meals together a real pleasure. This place strikes the perfect balance between comfort and practicality. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing break or a fun-filled family retreat, it’s an excellent choice. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Had a great stay, with a great location, within walking distance to the Main Street for stores and restaurants. Also very helpful arrival/leaving instructions and recommendations. Would highly recommend.

Best place we have stayed in Scarborough. Very peacefull. Walking distance to the Hub. Stunning walking trail up the mountain behind (Baskloof trail). The beds are extremely comfortable. Braaipit so well positioned that we could braai every evening even with a strong south easterly wind. We will be back…

Wir hatten während unseres Aufenthalts leider eine sehr herausfordernde Situation, da mein Partner einen Bandscheibenvorfall erlitt. Umso dankbarer sind wir für unseren großartigen Superhost, der uns in jeder Hinsicht unterstützt hat – sei es bei der schnellen Suche nach einem Arzt oder bei allen anderen Anliegen. Ihre Hilfsbereitschaft und Freundlichkeit haben uns wirklich berührt. Das Apartment selbst war wunderschön – geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sehr sauber und mit einem atemberaubenden Ausblick. Es hat uns in dieser schwierigen Zeit ein Stück Ruhe und Geborgenheit gegeben. Wonderful stay especially due to the stylish interior and the beautiful lookouts.

This is an awesome little place located within a wine estate! We felt so cozy and the view from the balcony was just beautiful. We even spotted some springbok while enjoying the coffee and rusks left for us. Julie was so friendly and accommodating. Thank you and we will be back!

Our stay at Philipp’s place was fantastic. From the moment we booked, we could tell Philipp was an exceptional host. His communication and care were outstanding. When we arrived, he welcomed us personally, helped with our bags, and gave us a mini tour along with much-appreciated coffee recommendations. One detail I especially loved was the beautiful handbook he’s put together with thoughtful restaurant recommendations and personal notes. It was such a lovely touch and really shows how much care he puts into creating a wonderful experience for his guests. Once we settled in, I have to say: impressed is an understatement. I can be quite particular, and this was truly an excellent stay. The apartment is tastefully decorated, with high-quality appliances and thoughtful complimentary touches throughout. We stayed for just a short visit. The place was very nice, cozy and clean. When we came back at night the heating blanket was on so we had a nice warm bed we could crawl in and sleep. Kallie was super friendly. Definitely would come back here if we need a stay in Paarl.

Outstanding hospitality! Flexible and responsive host, even assisted with our laundry. Stocked with water and coffee for us, even some fruit! Small and super important details. Comfortable mattress. Close to city center and safe neighborhood - try the Fat Butcher! Everything was great!

We loved our stay here! The ocean views were amazing and a perfect spot outside of Cape Town but not too far. Easy to drive to neighboring towns.

5-star stay. Nothing could prepare me for the spectacular views of Table Mountain reserved just for us on the rooftop. Very central in a great location. Brandon went above and beyond to ensure that we had all that we needed and we were able to leave our luggage before flying out. I wish we could have booked more days to stay here!

We decided on an unscheduled trip to visit the kids in Stellenbosch. Looked for a place to just sleep as our itenirary was jam packed. I booked, and minutes later received confirmation and instructions. Well communicated, everything was as it is described. Book here if you need a good value 1-2 day stopover. You will not be disappointed.

We had a very brief stay in Cape Town and this was the perfect place. It was very centrally located and therefore easy and quick to places we needed to get to. The views were as promised, spectacular! Having coffee in the early morning with a view of all of Cape Town as the light came up, and watching the sunset over the peninsula was gorgeous. The apartment is neat and pristine and we’re very happy to have stayed here!

Great location next to the CTICC , two minute to the show halls. The apartment is warm and comfortable. Great stay , will book again next year.
