Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Wellington City

We had a wonderful weekend with family, staying at Julie’s house. There were 3 good sized bedrooms, 2 with great views. Everything was really clean and spacious, the kitchen was well equipped, and we had lots of instructions. Julie communicated well before our check in. Parking directly opposite was a bonus. For anyone with mobility issues, just be aware that there are steps up to the entrance, and living / sleeping is on 2 floors.

Our son daughter-in-law and grandson loved the home from home experience. Great for location being near our daughter and shops in Newtown. We are keeping our fingers crossed that it will be available for our next NZ visit probably 2027. We will use it for ourselves as it was so much better than the place we stayed in. All the facilities we needed. Big enough for the family to get together and enjoy a family meal. The garden was a bonus. Just keep doing what you are doing.

I had a fantastic stay at Chris’s place! The communication was clear and prompt throughout, and Chris was always willing to help with anything I needed. The space itself was lovely clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. It felt like a real home away from home. I’d highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone and would happily stay again. Maddie’s place was effortlessly elegant and beautiful. So comfortable that we could wait to get back to the house after our sightseeing. The highlight of our trip was chillaxing at the house with plenty to read , Apps downloaded on the TV etc. the sun drenched, picturesque house was so clean and fresh and Maddie’s welcome note, warmth and hospitality were greatly appreciated. Fab kitchen, fab indoor/ outdoor flow. Cannot recommend it highly enough.

A great place to stay. Very responsive and friendly communication with host. Everything was very clean and tidy and the Airbnb had everything we needed for our stay. Comfortable beds and the place was warm and surprising quiet for a central city location. Would definitely stay again.

The views the views the views! The private cable car was such a fun amenity! Elenor was so easy to talk to- we had a slight heating issue and she was quick to jump on a call and offer up solutions-it was so kind and generous The house is large and spacious and we loved walking to the botanical gardens from he house. Would happily stay again is ever passing through Wellington again.

We really enjoyed our stay, right at the top of the hill with a bit of a winding steep road - it was lovely and quiet with a stunning view, the beds and pillows were the best and comfiest we have ever had at an Airbnb!! The place had everything we needed for our short stay and looked just like the photos. Emma very kindly allowed us to have an earlier check in time so we could drop off our luggage and go explore Wellington. The only thing we would suggest is bring warm slippers in winter because the bathroom floor is freezing! The upstairs has a heat pump and the bedrooms have heaters so kept us cosy. We would definitely recommend this place to others and stay there again next time. Thank you Emma!

Carolyn is a fabulous host and her home is incredible! We had a large group of 11 adults and 5 children stay and the home was absolutely perfect. The house has absolutely everything you need and that view is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great apartment on a lovely neighborhood. You are a 10 minute walk away from the Khandallah shops. You have restaurants, supermarket, pharmacy, pretty much everything you need a quick stroll away. Jules is a very responsive and responsible host. She took care of everything and the apartment is great. We were welcomed with treats and super useful tips! Highly recommended!

We had a lovely 2 nights at Mikes place. Loved the sunny balcony for a morena coffee or an afternoon bevy. Location was so central which made it super easy to get wherever we wanted to go walking. Bed was very comfy and the place is sparkly clean. The plunger coffee was nice and we may of accidentally eaten your pineapple lumps Mike 😎 A perfect place for a city getaway with easy instructions and hints and tips on places to dine. We will definitely return.

We loved our stay in Wellington. Being there for 5 weeks we felt right at home in the apartment. The kitchen was well equipped and the large fridge and freezer was perfect. We loved the location being near the water and down the road from the supermarket. Giles was always very helpful and friendly. Would 10/10 recommend!

Had an excellent 1-week stay here with my partner and young baby. Apartment was immaculately cleaned, furnishings were modern and in great condition. Cosy and warm despite the wild weather. Having three sleeping areas to choose from meant we could pick one on the quiet side of the building when the wind was getting strong. Kitchen/dining amenities were very complete and enjoyable to cook with. The owner's list of local recommendations is really fun and captures the spirit of life in Wellington.

Maria’s place was beautiful, super clean and cosy. Had all you need. Exactly like the photos. Our stay was very last minute as well as our extension but Maria accommodated us so well and took some stress off our shoulders. Thank you Maria! Hopefully we’ll be able to stay again soon 🥰

Fantastic location! Walkable to Cuba Street and Courtenay Place. The place itself was very clean and homely. We would highly recommend staying here!

The best deal for being comfortable and not cramped right in the heart of the city. The views both to the harbour and Mount Victoria are just beautiful and the perfect tonic sitting in the comfy lounger at the end of the day. Super easy instructions and both Carolyn and Aarti quick to respond to any queries. Also an extra layer of glazing in the master bedroom to keep out the city noises during the night. Friendly neighbours in the building make it a very safe space too. I would gladly return!

This is a great place to stay, great location. The apartment was very well cleaned and loved how the kitchen had extra bits.
