Great Location & Cozy Stay – Just Watch Your Head and the Stairs The cottage is beautifully presented and well-equipped, with everything we needed for a relaxed and comfortable stay. The off-street parking was a big plus. We stayed over Easter for a family event and found the cottage to be the perfect base—clean, comfy, and in a great spot. It’s an easy walk to Cuba Street, with Aro Café and Garage Project Taproom less than 150m away. We actually ended up having some of our catch-ups at the house—it was a warm, welcoming space where we could just relax and enjoy each other's company without feeling cramped. Just a small heads-up: the staircase to the two upstairs bedrooms is quite steep and may be tricky for anyone with mobility issues or sore knees. Also, the ceilings upstairs are a bit low—tall guests might find themselves ducking (not something I had to worry about!). Overall, a lovely little spot with loads of character.

Great place to stay if attending the Weltec Institute for Laboratories, etc. It was close to town which has a number of great eateries, but ultimately it's a cozy studio for any situation with all the essentials.

We had a lovely stay with Alex and Diane. They had a sweet dog and were very accommodating of our own dog. Space was tidy and had everything you needed and more!

Such a nice place to stay if you're visiting Wellington. The house is located in a quiet suburb not far from the city center. Host has great communication for easy check in and any extras needed. We were advised that the backyard where that bath is wasn't as private anymore due to some gardening from the neigbours, but we didn't have an issue with that, was still a nice relaxing space. A great stay for 2-4 people.

We really enjoyed our stay at Jeanine’s! Her place is very cute and comfortable with everything you’d need for a longer or shorter stay. The location is perfect - walking distance to downtown and Mt. Victoria, but still in a residential neighbourhood. We particularly enjoyed meeting her cat, Gary, who lives in the home. This is a great spot to stay if you’re visiting Wellington!

We had a great stay at Jason’s place. It had just what we needed for a short trip to Wellington. The central location made it easy to get around and was close to shops, cafes, buses and the supermarket. Thanks!

Thoroughly enjoyed my time at Renee’s place! Super accessible (especially to my favourite yoga studio on Cuba street!) The place was also extremely tidy and clean, Renee as a host was also very accommodating and easy to reach. The place had everything I needed for a longer-term stay. Quiet spot despite the centrality of the location! Thanks a lot Renee, will certainly be back!
