An amazing place to stay, incredible views looking out over the bay, waking up with the sun coming through the window and going to bed with a full moon reflecting off the water. Loved the hot outside shower. 2 minute walk for our morning swim in the sea. Helpful friendly host. Loved walking through the bush to get to our luxury hut. Thank you for having us Annie we had loved it.

Loved our stay in a beautiful and very convenient part of the City. Sue was a great host and always kept in touch. Easy walk by or bus ride into town but the stunning views from the studio and its terrace plus accessibility to Oriental Bay means we will come back next year!

We've stayed at Rosemary and John's place a few times now, and it's always a perfect base - clean, comfortable, great location. Appreciate their proactive and helpful communication, in particular, and will be happy to stay again in future.

Awesome big house in a convenient and lively central location. Walking distance to bars, restaurants and parks. Hosts are helpful and responsive. Only minor downside was parking was a bit difficult, we had to park a few blocks away. Otherwise a perfect stay. Thank you!

Despite not crossing paths with Rachel & Steve, they were the best hosts keeping in close contact, but at the same time enabling our privacy. They Bach is perfectly located and provided all we could desire with breathtaking views. It was so simple to book and we felt so welcome. Super special to understand the history (no spoilers) & association with Sheila Natusch too. Highly recommend Ōwhiro Bay as a beautiful place to further explore Wellington.

A perfect rental in Wellington. The house is very well located, in a quiet neighborhood close to the waterfront. A 10-minute walk from the city center. The house has all the comforts and amenities necessary for a pleasant stay. The bedding is impeccable. And what can I say about Carolyn? She is an excellent owner, always available to her guests and extremely kind. This house is ideal for groups, families, or even couples. I will return with great pleasure.

We absolutely loved our stay at Steve and Chrissy's. Arrived to a pristine house which was perfectly designed to take in the awesome views of the ocean and south island. Great exploring the beach and rocks but really it's such the perfect spot to sit and relax, read, listen to the ocean. The beds were super comfy and the fire at night was super snuggly. We could have stayed at least a week!

Only downside side is the idiots with shitty loud cars that think it’s a race street late at night but can’t complain about the cottage.

we have stayed here a few times, so we feel right at home in this lovely comfortable home. It has everything you need, good quality linen, towels etc. We enjoy having a coffee machine available too. It's on the bus route so is easy to get into town without having to use your car and look for parking. There are excellent cafes in walking distance and of course the beach is just down the road. We will always stay here if it's available.

Stayed a two nights in this gorgeous, peaceful and safe house. Amazing interior just like the photos. Felt right at home. Wifi was great! Janet was exceptional with any questions we had before and after the booking. Her dog was adorable, welcoming us with a hello in his language, so cute. Thank you so much for letting us stay! The views are outstanding, pretty much 360 degrees. The property is spotless and finishings are of a high standard. Bathroom supplies were excellent and a fabulous hamper on arrival. If I was being picky, my two gripes would be its not easy to find, however when you find it, its definitely worth it and there isn't really a deck with enough seating for the family to enjoy a bbq. Photos don't do this property justice, you won't regret it and I would recommend in a heartbeat

We had a wonderful weekend with family, staying at Julie’s house. There were 3 good sized bedrooms, 2 with great views. Everything was really clean and spacious, the kitchen was well equipped, and we had lots of instructions. Julie communicated well before our check in. Parking directly opposite was a bonus. For anyone with mobility issues, just be aware that there are steps up to the entrance, and living / sleeping is on 2 floors.

I booked at the very last minute at 6:30pm on the night and the host responded so quickly. I am so grateful because this old house is very unique with plenty of history. Awesome views that you never get tired of. Walking distance to every where. Be aware there are a lot of stairs to get to the property and bedrooms rooms up on 2nd level so if you have old or bad legs this could be a problem. Not a problem for me at all though & I am nearly 60. Thanks for a great stay and sharing your family home with me.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful homely apartment with the most stunning outlook! We spent so much time just viewing the comings and goings on the harbour and didn't want to leave! It was well appointed, superbly located within easy access to the CBD and having car parking was a real bonus. Giles was a very accommodating host and was readily available to answer questions. He was kind, informative and went over and above in terms of parking and providing some goodies on arrival. We would definitely recommend this lovely home and Giles to others and would love to stay again even though we live in Wellington :).
