Vacation rentals in Welaka

I've been waiting to do a review for Syd and Leslie's place. This place is wonderful and the hosts were/are very responsive and showed they cared for their home and the renters. They approved us to stay longer on check-out day because of a late flight and was very accommodating. Leslie texted me while we were on our way to the airport to thank us for taking such great care of everything and to have a safe trip. Shows me she really cares about people. We stayed there with 4 adults and 4 grandkids. The pool and pool area are great. The pictures do not do it justice. There were a BBQ/ games/pool toys/beach toys, etc. for our use. The house is in a beautiful location right on the canal and it is fully equipped for all your needs for the stay. Even during out stay I reached out to Leslie and she responded immediately. I cannot say enough good things about our stay other than we're planning to stay again next year and maybe for two weeks this time. Thank you, Syd and Leslie!!

This was a very nice, well designed and put together place to stay. It has a nice view of the waves on the beach and of the pool. It is very clean and well designed and organized. It was well stocked with everything we might have needed. It is a short walk to a restaurant with a bar. The beach is only a few steps away over the dune. The pool is a salt water pool, which was a pleasant and unexpected surprise! I would definitely stay here again!

Definitely well worth the price very attentive on making sure me and my family were comfortable and if we needed anything cabin had everything we needed to cook plenty of dishes, utensils, pots and pans and most important a coffee maker...lol Sherman was very helpful on helping on a place to dock our boat while we stayed very quiet at night left everything on my boat nothing was touched boat slip is owned by another business across from our cabin they also was very accommodating to our needs for our boat have everything you'll need daily ice, beer and bait there is a light and power at boat slip which i needed for trolling motor batteries over all very awesome memorial day vacation and Definitely be back to stay again in one of Sherman's places and definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for clean ,safe , and cozy little cabin....Thanks Sherman for everything!

I couldn’t have picked a better way to spend a girl’s trip for my 40th birthday than at Lauren’s place. Just steps from the beach, the rooftop views and sounds were a perfect way to start every morning and the hot tub and fire pit the best way to wind down in the evening. We made lifelong memories! Lauren’s place is super clean and well-stocked with everything you could need for the beach.

Great space for our family of three. To look out the balcony and have the sunrise was beautiful. Daughter loved playing at the pool and beach. Very quiet, relaxing and peaceful. No issues and would stay again!

We had an amazing time! My best Friend and I came down with my two kids (ages 8,6) for spring break. Place was just as described. Was clean, and cutely decorated with a beach theme. Had some games for the kids as well. There was a list of great recommendations for things to do and restaurants close by. I had a few questions and host was very friendly and quick to respond! Just a short walk to the beach, but located conveniently right across from the pool! Hot tub was nice and relaxing, located in the middle of the building on the first floor. If you’re driving I would recommend brining your own beach chairs, as the ones provided in the unit are not very comfortable. Beach is gorgeous!we loved staying on the beach and just a short drive to this historic downtown area. We highly recommend staying here! Definitely grab breakfast at island donuts!

This was a wonderful stay i love how quiet and private it was. 10/10 Recommend definitely won’t be disappointed. Also very kid friendly.

Sand in My Shoes was a great place to stay! Short walk to the beach, pools and gym. About 15 minutes to downtown St. Augustine. The townhouse was well stocked with everything we needed. We would definitely stay there again!

Great location. Peaceful and welcoming. Central to all of our planned destinations. Our stay was very nice.
