Unique Loft in Former Photo Studio + Basel Card

The small loft is located in the rear building on the first floor of my former photo studio. It’s simple, cozy, and clean, with everything arranged in one open space featuring a double bed, walk-in shower, and small toilet. The loft has an unconventional character and is best suited for easygoing guests who enjoy creative and unique spaces. I built this loft myself during the Corona years for visiting friends and family. It may not be perfect, but guests have loved it ever since.

Our apartment (approx. 70 square meters) is located at the edge of the small village of Geschwend, in the Todtnau holiday region. Geschwend has about 410 inhabitants. The place is good for 2-4 people. Couples, solo travelers, business travelers, and families with older children. It includes a double bed on the gallery, as well as a sofa bed in the living area. Close to nature & stylish living in the old farmhouse

The apartment is in the small district of Karsau, which belongs to Rheinfelden (Baden). In an almost 200-year-old farmhouse overlooking our farm animals (horses/sheep/cat/dog/chickens) you can relax wonderfully. Basel can be reached in 20 minutes by car/train. Beuggen train station is within walking distance (1.5 km). Right next door is a children's playground and the forest with beautiful walking and cycling trails is a few minutes' walk away.
