Monthly Rentals in Waynesboro

My wife and I look for remote cabin style locations far from the crowds. The Boathouse fit this description and more. The deck faces a wonderful running creek that sounds like a lullaby and at the night the lighting makes it enchanting. We loved the option of a private outside shower. The kitchen was superbly stocked and the bed very comfortable. Jennifer was a wonderful host and was responsive to all our needs. The creativity evident in this place is impressive. Everything you might need is there. I will visit again if my travels take me near.

Kathleen made sure we had everything we needed, even down to extra blankets for the chillier nights. She was fairly approachable and answered any questions you had. This is a beautiful place to stay and a great location to check out the area, which is the reason why I came. She had some helpful information and I enjoyed getting to know her. Kathleen and Tomas seem like lovely souls. Staying here felt like home and I would enjoy coming back here again.

Was kinda off putting when you have to go past the "bus house" but, once you get back in past the cattle guard the home was beautiful, Lori was very quick to respond to my questions and very helpful. My granddaughters and I went for a walk around the property and enjoyed some of the peace and nature around , it was very nice. My wife got a little scared one night by an armadillo that had wandered around and she heard the movement outside but couldn't see because it was so dark and had to get the high powered flashlight to see. All in all it was a great stay no noise or light pollution from the city and the Mennonite bakery (Troyer's) was great we got fried pies, sourdough bread and some blackberry preserves.

Great place to stay for a weekend getaway! Beautiful surroundings and very peaceful!
