Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Wayne County

This is a cute, cozy smaller house. It comfortably fit our family of 6. Michaele was accommodating and gave us an extra half day for a very reasonable price. The front porch was fun to sit on, and there were a couple of quiet country roads right there to walk or run on.

It was apparent to us how much effort Leanne and David have put into making the cabin as comfortable and welcoming as possible for their guests. The property is beautiful, and the cabin was so comfy. I am already missing the bathroom and shower. Leanne was very generous with her time as we peppered her with questions about chicken care. We stayed at Leanne and David's place because we needed a place to stay nearby for a wedding. We would come back to say that their place is that good.

Nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable apartment. Would rent again.

We loved our stay at Shannon’s place. The Homestead was full of historic charm, while holding fabulous amenities for our traveling party of 8. Shannon was incredibly friendly and easy to communicate with. Orrville is a pleasant community, and it’s easy to walk to restaurants. Additionally, the Homestead was close to Akron and other close by communities and attractions. If we’re back in the area, we would not hesitate to stay at this home again.

This home was exactly what was needed for our group, traveling for a fiber festival. Absolutely beautiful, very clean, the host was extremely kind & responsive if we messaged at all, & it was a lovely surprise to see the kitchen was also supplied some snacks/drinks/coffee :) Very easy to access in a beautiful area, & the house was very spacious & comfy. Already looking forward to hoping to book it again next year! Highly recommend this home & host.

This is the 3rd year we have stayed at Robs place. I will only stay here when we visit Wooster. This is like home away from home! Rob is so accommodating and helpful, going above and beyond to help with whatever we may need. The penthouse is clean and comfortable and right down town! The beds are comfy and the sectional couch is so relaxing for movies on the big screen. The kitchen is beautiful! There are multi places for coffee, lunch and dinner to choose from down town. The cutest little shops you can walk to, including some amazing antique shops, book store and record shop. Check out Spoons and the Salsaroja taco bar downstairs. The owner Amanda is amazing! Thai food at Basil is amazing too! If you are in the area to find Otts coffee we highly recommend it! And shopping at Local Roots next store is great too. We only get to visit once a year, but I am already anxiously anticipating our next visit in 2026 💖 we couldn’t do it and feel completely at home and relaxed if not for Rob.

The power went off one evening and the host immediately came with backup lights. Super nice couple to work with!

This was the perfect place to stay for three friends attending an agriculture conference. The house was tidy and comfortable.

Cozy unit with a fully equipped kitchen, comfy bed, and spacious living area. Location was perfect for walking to/from COW campus and just a short car ride to downtown/uptown. Hosts were super responsive and helpful. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived!

We had a great stay at the Boho Bungalow! Everything was as described and it was very easy when we arrived. It's a very nice place to stay and you will have everything you need while there. The only issue we had was the Keurig didn't work, and that wasn't a huge deal as I'm not a coffee drinker. My daughter just got a coffee elsewhere. If we're ever staying up north again, we will not hesitate to stay here again. Thank You.

Had a very nice stay! Place had plenty of room and really appreciated the off street parking. Large kitchen, dining and living rooms! Close to a wonderful downtown. Overall very pleased!

Well stocked. Easy access. Quiet surroundings. Large backyard for pets. Close to restaurants, canoeing/kayaking & highway. Enjoyed our stay!
