The Shed

A very spacious light and airy one bedroom 'shed' on a small farm in Freshwater Creek. Quiet and peaceful. Wander round the 1.2km track looking for wildlife or jump in the car and go to one of the many nearby beaches for the day. Dogs are welcome but not allowed in the living areas. Our 4 dogs roam the property. Definitely not a stay for people afraid of dogs. Stable facilities and paddocks are available on request and for an extra fee if you would like to holiday with your horse

Within 1km of the beach and walking distance to the beach cafe (Dawn) and the Ocean Grove Hotel. This relaxing and well equiped house will have you at ease from arrival and is perfect for both couples or families. Previous guests have enjoyed being away from the rush of the town, and loved the green garden and quietness of the area whilst being only a few minutes drive from the nearest shopping hub. We had a wonderful time at Sue's place. She's a great host, the box of chocolates was a delightful surprise that my kids loved it. The house is tidy, clean and cosy we loved it and our three legged pooch too. The garden is a beautiful area where I loved drink my cup of coffee in the morning.

We had a lovely stay! Loved the easter treats when we arrived and the house was really well stocked with more than we expected - such as icypoles and icecream for the kids. The instruction manual left no stones unturned and Brent was super responsive when we had a couple of questions. The kids loved using the wagon and playing table tennis - our few days away were relaxing and we'll be back to Barwon Heads for sure. Thank you!

Spacious and comfortable apartment immediately in front of the beach. Rooms were comfortable with fans and air-conditioning in every room. Generous living and dining areas meant a family of six were not cramped. Supermarket downstairs was a bonus allowing us to buy fresh bread/pastries and produce daily to prepare our own meals and eat on the balcony with amazing views. Ample outdoor space to unload all of our gear coming back from the beach. Area felt safe and locals quite friendly. We had an amazing and memorable family holiday.

Our stay at Native Retreat was top notch! Was perfect for a little get away from the daily grind, and was our first holiday where we could bring our dogs along. The house is beautiful and bright and we felt right at home. The yard was spacious and secure which gave us peace of mind to let the dogs run wild without escaping. Just a 10 mins drive from the Esplanade (dog friendly beach) and shops, we had everything we needed. The house was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated and maintained! The listing really is as good as it seems. The pictures and descriptions are on point, you will get everything you see and more! Just book it! You won’t be disappointed! Bravo, Natalie! Kerrie was great to deal with, she was very friendly and her response was always prompt and helpful. Her instructions were clear and helpful. The house had great seating and it was well stocked with everything you need. The views were amazing and it was a quiet neighborhood. It was a great comfortable place for eight people. Would highly recommended this property to anyone.

Stayed for a second time at this lovely home! The bed is luxurious, the bathtub is as well, and the overall design is superlative. The yoga dome is currently open, and is a great place to exercise. The kitchen is also stocked with local goods and coffee. The location is great, just a short walk to the beach and very near the main town. When the weather is nice, the place opens up, and the outdoor space is very accommodating. There is even a veggie garden to eat from! Libby is super responsive and kind. I highly recommend this place and would come again!

This is a gorgeous place to stay. The house is really beautiful with lots of interesting spaces and it is so light, spacious, and inviting. Bedrooms all comfortable. The stand out is the spa and pool, we loved being able to use both, the pool was deep and a comfortable temperature. Highly recommend staying here.

The entire property was so tranquil with strong sense of peace we hired all three properties that were incredibly comfortable and stylish. The rising moon and the sun are something to behold on a clear day. Plenty of wildlife and the 1.5km track is worth the walk- met the gardener on the track who was planting trees and told me of trees and shurbs going in this- can’t wait to see that in couple yrs- definitely coming back

Nice private tiny home on a nice sized piece of land which felt like you were surrounded by nature. The skylight was cool as you watched the stars to drift off to sleep. Just one advice keep the mozzies out before bedtime and you are good to go! Enjoyable stay all round 😇

We found Jodi’s place comfortable and spacious. We enjoyed the proximity to Queenscliff and other beach areas. We enjoyed the full kitchen and played games that were available. This is a great place for families, especially since you can bring a pet. Our dog had a fantastic time too running around the yard.
