Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Waterland

Beautiful family home and welcoming hosts-highly recommend for families! Hosts were so helpful in recommending nearby restaurants, offering tips for the transit system etc. I wish we had spent more time enjoying their home during this trip to visit Amsterdam as the home is a gem-the outdoor spaces are lovely. The movie projector screen and large collection of movies was so fun to use. The home is in an ideal location to use as a home base to access nearby Amsterdam or the even closer and very charming town of Zaanse Schans.

Wir waren mit dem Fahrrad unterwegs und haben die Unterkunft von Ben und Inge für 3 Nächte genutzt. Zum einen die Nähe von Amsterdam ( mit Bushaltestelle in der Nähe und dem Zug ab Weesp... total easy ! ) und den echt schönen kleinen Städte Weesp, Muiden und Naarden. Inge hat uns auf Wunsch jeden Morgen ein unfassbar tolles Frühstück gebracht. Sie ist eine tolle sehr freundliche Gastgeberin. Vielen lieben Dank für diesen tollen Start in den Tag. Wir haben uns bei Ben und Inge total wohl gefühlt und haben Ihre Gastfreundschaft sehr geschätzt. Die kleine eigenständige Wohnung ist sehr ruhig, sehr sauber und gemütlich (wie auf den Fotos) eingerichtet. Eigentlich ein richtiger Geheimtipp, ....psst,aber nicht weitersagen :-) Danke Euch, Inge und Ben für die tolle Zeit ! Thomas & Astrid

Ana Mer's home was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how clean, cozy, and well-maintained the house was. Every detail matched the description perfectly, and it even exceeded our expectations. The thoughtful touches throughout the home made it feel like we were staying in our own home away from home. The space was not only comfortable but also beautifully decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Ana was an excellent host—clear with communication, helpful, and kind, ensuring our stay was seamless. The location was perfect, making it easy to explore the surrounding area while still offering a peaceful retreat to return to at the end of the day. Très jolie maison mitoyenne de grand confort sur 3 niveaux. Proche d une gare qui permet un acces au centre d'Amsterdam en 25 minutes.

Osjećali smo se ugodno u smještaju, koji je bio uredan i svime opremljen. Lokacija je dobra i koristili smo se javnim prijevozom, tramvaj broj 19, ako ste grupa do 5 ljudi možete preko aplikacije kupiti dnevnu grupnu kartu za 26 eura koja se nama jako isplatila jer je inače oko 9 eura pojedinačna dnevna karta. U blizini smještaja je i trgovački centar i željeznički kolodvor. U ovoj četvrti smo se osjećali sigurno.

Birgit and her home are so wonderful! Birgit was so helpful showing us around the home and so gracious when our train was cancelled and we needed to stay another night. The home is clean and beautiful. We had plenty of space and loved having a quiet space after a day in a busy city. We hope to stay here again!

Wir (5 Freunde+1 Hundi) haben sehr schöne Tage gehabt in der Unterkunft. Tolle ruhige ländliche Lage- mitten in der Natur. Trotzdem ist der Weg nach Amsterdam schnell und unkompliziert(kleiner Tipp: es gibt eine Fähre). Victor und seine Frau sind sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Also wer etwas Ruhe braucht aber trotzdem schnell in der Stadt oder andere Unternehmungen machen möchte ist hier genau richtig. Sehr empfehlenswert sind auch Edam und Volendam. Außerdem lohnt sich auch ein Tagesausflug an die Nordsee ;-) Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir haben vier Tage Amsterdam erkundet und das Haus war dafür perfekt. Ruhige Lage, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Parkmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Man kann ganz entspannt zu Fuß (ca. 25 Minuten) zur Fähre (umsonst) gehen und dann in die Innenstadt von Amsterdam fahren. Das Haus war sehr gemütlich und schön eingerichtet. Man hat sich direkt wie Zuhause gefühlt. Das Haus war außerdem sehr gut ausgestattet, es hat uns nichts gefehlt. Die Kommunikation mit Mijntje war super. Sie hatte tolle Tipps für die Gegend. Vielen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt, gerne wieder!

I’ve traveled all over the world and I’ve stayed at many Airbnb /hotels etc. Joyce’s place and her communication was as good as you can wish for. Highly recommend in every way. Not sure a host could be better! She addressed all my needs and it was simply a perfect stay. A+++++

Thomas ist wirklich ein toller Gastgeber, sehr zuvorkommend und hilfreich! Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt und haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Wir hätten sogar zu viert dort übernachten können. Die Betten war bequem und wir würden jederzeit wieder einchecken!

I can't recommend Martijn and Lucy's place enough. The apartment itself was extremely well furnished and thought out, including a well stocked kitchen, decent shower and plenty of towels provided. The bed and sofa bed were both very comfortable. There are several flights of stairs to reach the apartment at the top floor of the building, but these are well worth it for the benefit of a roof terrace. The location is great, with plenty of food options within a few mins walk (it's worth checking out the Foodhallen!) and an outdoor market on the street below. A tram line that can take you towards the central station is only a couple of mins away or it's an enjoyable walk to anywhere in Amsterdam. We had a great stay, thanks so much!

Menke’s place is in the perfect location - just outside the main tourist area so it is authentic, yet still close to everything. It was a wonderful stay and we’ll definitely come back when we are in Amsterdam next. Menke is also very easy to work with and accommodating. Easy 5 stars all around.

We had a wonderful stay! The apartment has a modern a spacious kitchen and it was a pleasure to have our morning coffee there. There's a cozy little yard where you can hang out and a stylish newly renovated bathroom. The hosts were very helpful, friendly and communicative. Definitely the nicest airbnb we've ever been to in Amsterdam!

I enjoyed my stay in Muiderberg. I needed a convenient place to stay for one night in between moving house and this apartment was the perfect solution. The host was very flexible with the check-in time and even let me park a large van in her driveway. The accommodation itself was spacious, clean and had a nice atmosphere. It's actually much nicer than the photos used on Airbnb. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone who wants a quieter place to stay nearby Amsterdam or to someone who wants some days away in a cute dutch town.

Excellent location! Very nice neighborhood, walkable everywhere, supermarkets close by, restaurants nearby...Jurgen was very proactive, responsive and very flexible.

A comfortable and beautiful flat in a peerless location. Only problem is that you won't want to leave to explore Amsterdam as sitting at the window in the flat is so beguiling.

Nous avons passés un très bon moment dans ce lieux. Nous avons eut de nombreuses recommandations de sorties possibles à proximité ainsi que de lieux ou ce restaurer. Des conseils précis et utile pour notre séjour. Nous avions à notre disposition à notre arrivée des produits locaux nous permettant de goûter aux saveurs locales ce qui est très appréciable. Pour finir notre hôte ce tenait disponible pour toutes questions ou recommandations et est resté très professionnel et à notre écoute. Un grand merci pour nous avoir permis de passer de très bon moments !

I have stayed at several Airbnbs in the past few years and had wonderful experiences with each. This place has been the best place I have stayed. The host Maaike, is absolutely wonderful. Easy to communicate with, helpful, friendly and kind. The place itself is exactly as advertised. A great hideaway not far from several great destinations in the Netherlands. Quiet, comfortable, and private. When I come back to the Netherlands again, I will absolutely stay here again.

Such a lovely cabin with a beautiful garden. It is much bigger than the pictures allow. Very close to bus station to get into Amsterdam and also about £20 - £30 Uber ride to Amsterdam. Martien is very lovely, and gave us a few suggestions to visit. Everything was clean and we had everything we needed. 100% recommend.

This is the perfect place to stay when visiting Alkmaar! It is close enough to enjoy all that the city has to offer, yet it also provides a beautiful, peaceful escape from the business and crowds. Han and Kelly were great hosts, providing helpful recommendations and even rides from the train station and into Alkmaar. We also enjoyed hanging out with the dog, cat and chickens! We would definitely stay here again.

This garden hideaway was a perfect place to unwind and take walks to magical places nearby. After several days in various cities I was ready for a break. A nearby island with a beach can reach by a pedestrian bridge just past the little grocery store. An old forest preserve with long allees of towering trees leading to a manor house and gardens can be reached just up the road in the other direction. Other reviews mentioned the occasional sound of planes which I barely registered. The sounds of the city were replace by the sound of wind in the trees and of a neighborhood rooster in the morning which I liked. Marjolein and Anton were a sheer delignt. Take a break and stay here for a few days.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt! Die Unterkunft war super sauber, liebevoll eingerichtet und genau wie beschrieben. Die Lage war perfekt – ruhig, aber dennoch zentral. Mandy-Remko war sehr freundlich, gut erreichbar und hat uns mit tollen Tipps versorgt. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder. Absolute Empfehlung!

We waren een paar dagen in het geweldige huisje van Rose voor ons eerste huwelijksjubileum. Rose had heel attent voor ons een roos en een kaartje neergezet, wat meteen zorgde voor een fijn ontvangst! We hebben heerlijke dagen gehad bij de open haard, genoten van de omgeving met onze hondjes en de zonsopkomst vanaf de dijk is fantastisch!

Wir haben eine wunderbare Woche im Duinstudio verlebt. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Ausstattung, es ist alles vorhanden, vom Küchenzubehör bis zur Ausstattung im Bad mit reichlich Handtüchern, Badematte usw.. Ein herzlicher Empfang von Annelies, die immer mit Rat und Tat zur Seite stand. Sehr genossen haben wir es,nach einer Radtour oder einer Wanderung im wunderschönem Garten zu sitzen. Auch hier ist alles bestens vorbereitet, schöne Sitzgruppen, Grillkohle für den Grill, Holz für den Gartenkamin. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gern wieder!
