Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Wassenaar

We loved our stay at Mabel’s cottage while we visited the Netherlands to celebrate my bachelorette! The house has a good mix of seclusion and convenience: there aren’t many neighbors nearby, which offers a good amount of privacy. It is also conveniently located right across the street from the train station - which is two stops (~15 minutes) to Amsterdam Central Station. If you wish to visit a different city other than Amsterdam on your stay, Haarlem was ~20 minutes and is another very cute and quaint city. The home was decorated beautifully and was maintained very well. Nonetheless, Mabel made us all feel right at home and was quick to respond whenever we had a question. I would highly recommend staying here - thank you again Mabel for hosting us!!

Hans est un homme charmant et très accueillant. Sa confiance nous a conforté. Un véritable délice cet appartement typiquement Hollandais, au dessus de cette jolie galerie d'art, situé dans le centre de Gouda. La description était vraiment fidèle. Merci encore a Hans pour nos petites conversations artistiques ! Nous recommandons vraiment.

We loved our stay here and if we returned to the Netherlands we would stay here again. A very comfortable house, wonderful big soft bed, clean kitchen and lovely shower. A beautiful outside space too- we loved it. Excellent stay

The most perfect little house in Maarssen! Located about 20 minutes via bus/train from Utrecht and 30 minutes from Amsterdam, this gorgeous abode was a piece of heaven after a day of exploring! Upon arrival I was greeted by a few friendly chickens wandering the property and Ewoud, who made me feel right at home with not only great recommendations for Maarssen but helpful incite for bus information/apps and bike rentals. The house itself is so picture perfect cute! Comfy beds, relaxing bathtub, washer/dryer and a lovely outdoor space fitted with patio furniture. Keep in mind the stairs inside are rather steep and spiraling - but I found that it only added to its charm and felt like the bougie treehouse of my childhood dreams (lol). Got a chance to chat with Catelijne and Ewoud a bit on the eve of my departure and they are such wonderful hosts - would 100% recommend and would love to return!

Die Lage war sehr gut, man ist in 3 Minuten am Strand. Es war sehr ruhig gelegen. Gute Busverbindungen für die die mit dem öffentlichen Verkehr kommen. Am Parallel Boulevard jede Menge tolle Restaurants plus eine Einkaufsmeile. Nicht so große Muschelauswahl am Strand, aber wenn man morgens früh aufsteht hat man bessere Chancen. Wunderschöner ebener Strand gut geeignet für lange Spaziergänge.

Alt var perfekt. Super lækkert hus, med alt man kunne ønske sig. Vi bestille hottub og sauna til vi kom hjem om aftenen og alt var klar til os. Anotoinette var meget imødekommende og hjælpsom både før og under opholdet. Vi kommer gerne igen😊 Til den lidt dyre side end andre steder, men klart det værd.

Jokes Polderhuisje was really lovely, perfect for a little time out from every day life. It has everything you need and they have many informations what to do.

Wir hatten vier wunderbare Tage bei Pieter und Mireille. das Haus war gemütlich eingerichtet, so wie es auch auf den Bildern aussieht. Es war alles vorhanden.. reichlich Handtücher und auch sonst alles, was man braucht und es ist wunderschön gelegen in der Natur und ein gemütlichen 20 Minuten Spaziergang vom Meer entfernt Kann man nur weiterempfehlen👍

The location was perfect for us and accommodations clean, quiet and private. Beautiful town! Hope to return someday!

Linda is a perfect host and communicated with us before, during and after our stay, answering all our questions. Finding the property and checking in was easy. The location is a very quiet residential area, with reliable transport links (tram and bus) to all the major sights of interest, shopping centre and railway stations. The property itself is a beautiful art deco apartment which retains a lot of its original features, without sacrificing 21st century comfort and amenities. The bed was really comfortable and we slept very well. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and has everything you need to prepare and cook a full meal and there is a dishwasher (hurray!). Shower is great with an unfailing supply of hot water and having a washing machine and tumble drier was a real bonus as we arrived with a lot of laundry. The neighbours were friendly. If we come back to Den Haag, we hope to stay here again as it's a great base from which to explore both city and seaside.

De loft vonden wij sfeervol en het uitzicht op de tuin was mooi. Brigitte reageerde steeds vlot. Wellicht in de toekomst komen we nog eens terug zodat mijn man lekker kan hardlopen in de duinen 😉

Dieser Ort ist zauberhaft! Wir haben die Tage in dem so hübsch eingerichteten Dachgeschoss und den Tieren im Garten rundum genossen. Unsere Tochter (knapp 2 Jahre alt) hat das Spielen im Garten und das Tiere streicheln so geliebt. Wir haben uns wie in Bullerbü gefühlt! Mirjam stand uns immer mit Rat und Tat zur Seite, hat jeden Tag ein frisches, super leckeres Frühstück für uns vorbereitet und uns Fahrräder geliehen. :-) Ganz große Empfehlung!!

Der Aufenthalt bei Marjolein und Michiel war außerordentlich schön und gemütlich. Ruhig gelegen, wunderschönes Ambiente mit privater Teichterrasse und Garten. Ideal für Radtouren zum Weltkulturerbe zu den Mühlen in Kinderdijk, Rotterdam, sowie nach Dordrecht gelegen. Auch der Wasserbus ist sehr zu empfehlen! Da mein Mann 60 wurde, hatte Michiel uns aufmerksamerweise eine schöne Flasche Prosecco vorab in den Kühlschrank gestellt. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und umfangreich. Die Betten sehr bequem. Das Zimmer ließ sich insgesamt zum Schlafen gut abdunkeln. Das Auto konnte sehr sicher auf dem Hof abgestellt. Vielen herzlichen Dank nochmals für den wunderbaren Aufenthalt!! We had a lovely few days at Yvonne’s place, enjoying the beautiful and peaceful countryside from their really excellent apartment. The place was exceptionally clean, comfortable, quiet and fully equipped - perfect for our needs and with the benefit of a lovely outdoor space to enjoy hot days and warm evenings. We would certainly return. Yvonne and Rob were outstanding hosts - friendly, helpful and generous - and we are happy to recommend both them and their apartment.

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in diesem Apartment! Die Lage ist hervorragend – nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß bis zum Strand. Die Wohnung selbst ist funktional eingerichtet, gemütlich und sehr sauber, sodass wir uns vom ersten Moment an wohlgefühlt haben. Besonders praktisch: der Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür – stressfreies Ankommen und Ausladen garantiert. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können die Unterkunft absolut weiterempfehlen!

Das erste AirBnB, das sich für mich wie ein richtiges zuhause angefühlt hat. Es steckt sehr viel Liebe drin. Man hatte das Gefühl, dass man in einem Märchenhaus gewesen ist. Die Lage ist perfekt, um für ein Wochenende abzuschalten. 30 min mit dem Fahrrad nach Zandvoort und 5 min mit dem Fahrrad nach Harlem. Ich war von Harlem auch sehr überrascht, da es für mich wie eine bessere Version von Amsterdam angefühlt hat.

Mariska & Boaz were super cooperative, polite and ready to help even at odd hours. The town is beautiful and relaxed with good connectivity to Amsterdam Central. Though we missed the tulips just by a week still overall worth it. Highly recommend anyone who wants to stay at walking distance from the tulip fields

In der gemütlichen Wohnung haben wir eine sehr schöne Woche verbracht. Der Kontakt mit Monice und Pascal war super freundlich und bereitgestellte Infos äußerst umfangreich, so dass wir u. a. schnell einen kostenfreien Parkplatz in der Nachbarschaft finden konnten. Der Bäcker gegenüber hatte leckere Brötchen und Alkmaarscentrum ist fussläufig schnell zu erreichen. Die Wohnung liegt genau an einer vielbefahrenen Kreuzung, aber irgendwie - und ich bin sehr hellhörig und lärmempfindlich - hat dieser nicht gestört, man konnte sehr gut schlafen. Wir können diese Unterkunft sehr gut weiterempfehlen.

We had a great time in this sweet apartment. We loved sitting in the living room overlooking the canal and appreciated the great shower and overall layout of the apartment. The location is fantastic. Very residential and more peaceful than other parts of the city we have been to. We highly recommend it!

This place was wonderful! It was just as described. We enjoyed listening to the birds (wild parakeets and others) as we sat on the balcony in the mornings. The stairs are steep and narrow but that is just part of being in Amsterdam. One thing to note, there are 2 showers, 2 sinks, but only 1 toilet. It didn’t cause any problem for me, but those staying in the first floor bedroom will have to climb up stairs in the middle of the night. Overall, I highly recommend!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Mel & Henri’s place! From the moment we arrived, they were so warm and welcoming, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and full of charm—it truly felt like a home away from home. Every little detail was thoughtfully arranged, and their hospitality made all the difference. We would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Der Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft war sehr gut. Wir haben uns direkt wohl gefühlt. Alles war wie auf den Bildern dargestellt und man konnte perfekt dort entspannen. Außerdem war die Gastgeberin total nett und hat für eine angenehme Ankunft gesorgt. Die Unterkunft ist sehr zu empfehlen wenn man plant zwischen den Städten zu reisen (alles ist nicht weit entfernt).

Wir wurden von Remy persönlich begrüßt und er hat uns das Apartment gezeigt und die Bedienung des Whirlpools erklärt. Außerdem hat er uns Empfehlungen für die Gegend gegeben. Per Nachricht konnten wir ihn immer erreichen und er war sehr hilfsbereit. Das Apartment und der Whirlpool sind sehr privat, sodass man sich wohl fühlt. Zudem war die Unterkunft super sauber und durch frische Blumen wurden angenehme Akzente gesetzt.

Super Wohnung mit guter Ausstattung in optimaler Lage zum Strand und der Promenade. Sehr ruhig. Sehr freundlicher und netter Kontakt. Liebevolle Einrichtung mit kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten. Küche mit Kaffeevollautomat. Kaffee, Marmelade waren sogar dabei. Parkplatz in der Nähe. Hatten das Auto allerdings während unseres Aufenthaltes nicht bewegt. Mit Rad und öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln war alles gut und einfach zu erreichen. Wenn es überhaupt was zu bemängeln gab, ein paar Hacken für Jacken innerhalb wären gut. Meerblick hat man von der Wohnung nicht, aber einfach ums Eck und schon war man da. Fazit: Wir waren das erste Mal hier in der Gegend. Wenn wir wieder mal hier her wollen, auch gerne wieder diese Wohnung.
