Monthly Rentals in Washago

Even with a series of unfortunate weather events the stay was great! Do and family are responsive and kind and the place was fantastic! We will be back!

We had a great time at George’s house with our friends. We went there to enjoy the fall colors and this house is a perfect spot to enjoy fall colors near by. Kayak in the fresh lake water right behind the house is really good experience. House looks exactly shown in the images. I recommend this to anyone who want to enjoy time with friends and family in a peaceful location.

Lisa was an amazing host! She was responsive, welcoming and friendly. My husband got a temporary job working in Bracebridge and he decided to stay here for a month rather than travel back and forth. There were no surprises, the bunkie was exactly as described and the price was fantastic. The river was a such a pretty backdrop for him to return home to after work. Thanks again!

We had a great week at Daniel’s cottage - the perfect place to relax & unwind after a week exploring the sights in Toronto. Daniel was an excellent host - no question was too much trouble, & he was very quick to respond to any queries. The cottage & amenities were exactly as described and proved to be perfect for our family - especially our two 16 & 19 year old sons, with plenty of time spent swimming, kayaking / canoeing, riding the Peloton, or playing table tennis, table football, & the X-box. The location of the cottage was perfect, with beautiful views of the river and surrounding woodland. The rear deck was the perfect spot for breakfast or BBQ’ing in the evening & watching the sunset. We ate at the cottage most days with supplies from the excellent Canoe Stores & Bakery in Washago, which had us coming back for the pecan slices on a daily basis! We ate out at the Lock42 Grill, set in a beautiful location beside the canal. All in all we would highly recommend Daniel’s cottage.
