Our log cabin Klein Meerzicht offers comfortable overnight stays overlooking the meadows and the Paterswoldsemeer. The space is modernly decorated and has a bathroom with a shower and wc. There is 1 bedroom with double bed and in the living room there is a double sofa bed. Furthermore, there is Wi-Fi, smart TV, air conditioning and electric heating. Groningen city center is a 20-minute bike ride away. P+R A28 (transferium/bus station) within walking distance. Train station also in Haren Shops nearby. Supermarket at 1000mt.

Take it easy at this unique, restful place to stay. You sleep in a great place, away from the inhabited world and on the water. You can enjoy the vast landscape and the tranquility with a beautiful sunset. Experience it for yourself and enjoy the tranquility! From the terrace you can immediately get on the water in one of our canoe's and in the morning there are fresh eggs. We are happy to be able to host guests again after a significant period of renovation. We now live in the back of the yard ourselves.

When dining in the evening, the light of the lighthouse will ensure a stunning island feeling. A fresh dive in the morning is available at the very rustic beach at the other side of the dunes (about 15 minutes walk). Our house has 5 bedrooms, a great living room with a (gas) fireplace, a cosy kitchen with kitchen island, a beautiful dining room and a ‘spa’ with sauna and tanning bed.

We were working in Groningen for a week and it was a wonderful peaceful place to stay. Watching the barges go silently by right at the end of the garden while your relax after a busy day is extremely peaceful. Very nice walks from the house in several directions and don't miss the vismarkt a block away for and excellent lunch or dinner.

We loved our stay in this beautiful house! The house is full of comforts and the beds are very comfortable. There is a large veranda and through the backyard you can walk straight into the woods. Wonderful stay. Beautiful domain with lots of nature. Beautiful playground within the park with a blissful track for skating/stepping, there is also mini golf, swimming pool etc all free to use. The house itself is very practical and everything is well maintained. Heating works perfectly with central thermostat. Beautiful living space with some available toys. There is a washing machine and drying cabinet. Bedrooms also fine. Maybe a little more convenient would be full blackout curtains, but those are details. In addition, many natural parks and farms all around. In short, we had a perfect stay! Malou is also a friendly and helpful host.

What a lovely, clean, fully furnished cottage in a beautiful setting. We felt right at home. At night it is mouse quiet and dark. From the park you can cycle right away. Good and beautiful MTB trails in the national parks. Delicious ice cream in Diever. Westerbork was impressive. Martina is a sweet and helpful host. We will definitely come back again.

Had a wonderful week between the birdsong and the humming of the bees. A place to relax and unwind. The house was spacious and equipped with every comfort. As icing on the cake, spent another evening in a hot tub with a view of the setting sun in the meadow. Contact with the hostess was pleasant and went smoothly.

A beautiful temporary home away from home! We were lucky enough to spend Christmas in Dina's tiny house. It was even more beautiful than expected, completely quiet and private....but with all the amenities we wanted. The sauna was a dream, especially in the cold, wet weather. Dina is a very likeable host and we were very happy to have decided on Ellertshaar. For us, one of the most beautiful Christmas we had. Dear Diana, Thank you so much, we will be happy to come back!
