The cottage itself was spotlessly clean and thoughtfully organized - everything was labeled, making it incredibly easy to find what we needed. It truly felt like a "home away from home" - but without any of the stress! The location in Wardensville offers beautiful surroundings, and the host was exceptional - responsive, thoughtful, and clearly committed to providing guests with a five-star experience. We had an amazing stay, it's a very well equipped cabin, in an amazing, beautiful and very quiet place, exactly the kind of retreat we were looking for. Great mountais view. The nearby town is also very quiet and receptive, where it's easy to buy food and supplies. Su and her husband are amazing people and always willing to help. I can't wait to go back.

From reservation to checkout, everything about my visit was impeccable. Wonderful location, quiet, designed for spending time with a good book, exploring the surrounding mountains, hiking, good conversation, meeting friendly neighbors and enjoying music… just as described and then some. I look forward to returning soon.

Great Cabin for a weekend getaway. Cozy, great lawn with fire pit, good beds etc. - everything you’ll expect from it is there and the photos tell you exactly what it will be. Wardensville is a cozy little town and the hiking optiona in the area were plenty and beautiful. .
