Vacation rentals with a kayak in Wall Township

What a place to go for the weekend , Solaris was so beautiful, hot tub has a great view of outside, such a big place and you have three different living areas, very private and noise doesn’t go out at all. Keith is an excellent host , very active and always ready to help. He cleaned out the hot tub for us after day 2 for our third day stay ,which he again gave us for a discount. Overall this is added as my fav and the host is one big reason for it .

Great house far enough to be relaxing but close enough to grocery stores restaurants. The outdoor space is great for activities with equipment that the host provides.

We chose it for the location - right on the river, with three beds (you have to walk thru one room to get to another, no issue for us) and added bonus of bicycles and paddle boards (new). We happily discovered you can paddle board on the canal near the house (5 min walk), and we did two great circular bike rides - in either direction and over the bridges. Plus as it is the second home for the owners, they have filled it with great care and artistic flair. Bit quirky for our style but for sure you won't find any IKEA furniture here. We had a couple small hiccups upon arrival which Thomas sorted quickly in-person, and therefore we got to meet him in person and learn more about his story which was fascinating. Highly recommend eating at Its Nutts (or bring it home and eat outside at on the river as we did!) 2 min drive or 12 min walk. We also did some food shopping at Colonial Farms, 5 min drive.

First of all, when you first get there, it is super easy beautiful little houses side by side very Beachy vacation type and then you just go up a small flight of stairs and you easily enter the home and it is beautiful right from the beginning smells clean. It looks clean, it is clean. Plenty of space, the futon was big enough for my 2 friends. I slept in the bedroom. The kitchen was beautiful. The bathroom was beautiful. We definitely will return. Thank you so much. To top it off the walk to the beach was amazing firepits chairs....everything you need!!!!

My Family came into town for a show for my daughters. The house was a great spot to stay for 2 days. Had a beautiful view of the water. It was extremely relaxing and it got my kids away from electronics for a few days with not having a tv or wifi. It was such a great family weekend together. The host was very accommodating. The restaurants in town were very goos as well. If you want to get away for a few days with peace and quiet this is the stay.

Overall it was a great stay. It’s a beautiful property on the canal. Very spacious and tasteful decor with a warm comforting feel of home away from home. We were 7 people and everyone slept comfortably. It is only 12 minutes from the beach and LBI which is very convenient and were provided with 4 beach passes. Mary Ann was flexible with check out which was very appreciated. I would love to stay again but I do want to point out three things. They do not provide basic toiletries and towels like most B n B’s. Secondly, since it’s on the canal, there are lot of mosquitoes so make sure to pack some repellants or bug sprays. Although, we did find some only the day we were leaving. Lastly, the township requires a notarised tenant rental agreement but we found out about it only after booking the place. It would be nice to know about something like this in the listing as this can be a hassle for some.

I had a great stay at Anneke’s, she went above & beyond to make the place warm & inviting, especially during the holidays. She had tons of recs, left little snacks, & even a couple gifts since I was there for Christmas! The space was very comfortable, and the backyard was exactly what my dog needed. I would definitely recommend staying here!

We loved our stay here . The grandkids and everyone had a great time with all the amenities provided . Kayaking , fishing , crabbing , swimming etc . We also enjoyed the outdoor concert at the pier & the nearby restaurants ! Would definitely love to stay here again . Salvatore was very friendly and helpful !

What can you say that hasn't been already said by previous reviewers. John's house in Freeport is a gem. Perfect getway for weekend for our family. We were greeted by a nice bottle of wine and a generous basket of snacks (always a nice touch). The house was spacious and super clean. The beds were extremely comfy and the kitchen was well equipped for anything you may need. So many fun things we really didn't get to take advantage of (Tiki Room, fire pit etc..). But the crowning jewel is the location on the water. If you just want a place to sit and relax as the sun rises or sets (yes you get to see both from the back deck) this is your place. John was a gracious and responsive host. We hope to be back next year.
