Quaint duplex apartment in the countryside

Welcome to Appenzellerland, in the valley of the Silvesterchläuse, in Urnäsch, an old house with a separate entrance, a nice place to sit, directly on the Urnäsch (stream) and the Postbus stop towards Schwägalp, the duplex apartment was renovated in the 1970s, with a small kitchen and a spacious living room to linger in, simple, quiet and cozy and good to know, in the other part of the house (private entrance) my parents live, but this does not affect you.

The cozy chalet is perfect for families with children or just to enjoy the peace and quiet as a couple. In the chalet there is a double bed and in the attic a mass of mattresses. You have a gigantic view of the Ruinaulta, the Flimserstein, Calanda and many different excursion opportunities. Very special in Chalet Balu is the wellness oasis with sauna. The beautiful lodging is combined with an older farmhouse, which is located more remote and surrounded by woods and meadows with views of the beautiful Glarus mountains. The idyllic house is very quietly located in the ski and hiking area of Flumserberg. The kitchen as well as the living and sleeping areas are very well equipped and bed linens (but no terry or bath towels) are provided. Since it is an older house, the room heights throughout the house are relatively low. In summer, the spacious garden with terrace and fireplace can be used. Good starting point for hikes and ski days
