Cosy 3-Bedroom Retreat

SaharaRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Welcoming host with lovely little touches and welcoming gifts. Peaceful, quiet location within driving distance from the University which was ideal. Only recommendation would be to upgrade the sofa bed as this was extremely hard and uncomfortable to sleep on. However the 2 main beds were delightful! Thank you so much for a pleasant stay.

Beautiful countryside around and nice walks from the cottage along public footpaths through fields and woods. Nice the owner has left a history of the farm to read up. Beds very comfortable and kitchen well stocked.

Newton Rise

JanaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Excellent place to stay for a quick visit to Durham - it was quiet, very clean and really well kitted out. The beds were comfy, and the heating switched on immediately and got the place toasty very quickly. The biscuits and milk were a nice touch. Could not fault it, and so much better then a comfort Inn or other generic chain hotel. Thanks for the perfect stay.

Cosy Cottage Low Fell + Off Street Parking

AndyRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Great Airbnb, very clean, with good facilities, very comfortable, perfect for two, with the benefit of secure parking behind electric gates. We used it to visit our son and girlfriend in Newcastle over a weekend. Our hosts were fantastic with communication, giving great directions and always responding promptly to our messages. A welcome gift of food essentials was waiting for us on arrival (bread milk eggs etc), which was a lovely touch. Located outside Newcastle, this was ideal for us and a short Uber trip into the city was less than £8, far better than the hassle of driving and paying for parking. Additionally, Low Fell had plenty of places for eating and drinking and was only a 10 minute walk from the accommodation. Will definitely use this Airbnb in the future if visiting Newcastle. Thanks Holly and Chris.
