The Plaice by the Sea was such a beautiful holiday space! Cindy was amazing for local recommendations and for getting us there and set up. The van itself was pristine and very well equipped with everything (bathrooms supplied with loo roll, shower products, kitchen had a surplus of extra bits to use) and so cosy! The surrounding area was stunning with so much to do and see (St Catherine’s Chapel is well worth a visit!!) especially if the weather is good! We thoroughly enjoyed staying here and cannot thank Cindy enough for creating such a beautiful and cosy space for others to use!

We were a group of 12, and every one of us agreed this is the best holiday house we've ever stayed in. We loved the location, right by the beach and a short walk into town, but at the end of a cul-de-sac, so quiet and safe. We loved all the many books and musical instruments in the house - we felt very at home! We loved the beautiful sea views from 3 bedrooms, and the comfy beds, and the well-equipped kitchen. Our children loved the wide range of toys and the games console. The host made us feel very welcome. We felt it was very good value for money, and we would really like to come back and stay here again.

We were in Torquay for a funeral sadly, however Helenas place was a lovely, cosy retreat. Everything you could possibly need during a little getaway, Helena has thought of it! the beds are very comfortable and the parking wasn't an issue we expected it'd be! we would happily book again if in the area in the future! thank you 😊

Adam was responsive, helpful and willing to go out of his way to help us. The house was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed as a family. Fully functioning kitchen was also helpful. Highly recommended and we will be staying again!

A cottage of dreams! We absolutely loved our stay at Kings Cottage… the house was perfect - so beautifully done and well kitted out. Stunning garden for the children to play in and the most gorgeous picture perfect setting in Kingston Deverill. Wow, what a stunning location. It's every bit as beautiful as in the photos. We watched glorious sunsets from the terrace and enjoyed walks on the beach. I enjoyed looking around the immaculately kept gardens and could have watched the colourful koi in the pond for hours, plus the two cute horses in the field. Andrew's directions to the house are spot-on, please don't trust your satnav or you risk being taken down some very narrow lanes with grass growing in the middle and no passing places. Ask me how I know. There is no mobile reception at the house, as you would expect given the location, but the wifi is very good. Beds and bedding super comfortable.

fantastic property with an amazing view which gets better with the balcony where you can walk out and take in the wonderful views of the bay. everything you could possibly need is provided in this exceptionally clean property, with the added welcoming touches of fresh flowers sweets and a bottle of fizz were the icing on the cake . Steve is a fantastic and friendly host who responded quickly when we needed a boost in heating on a chilly evening if you are looking for a cozy and comfortable get away with a magnificent sea view look no further just , we counting down the days until our next stay already in May . thank you Steve for an amazing holiday home 10/10

Had a booking cancelled at short notice and had to find an alternative sharpish.. found this one and the host was back to us straight away and remained in regular contact. Directions and getting in were easy and we even got notification that the accommodation was ready early. Very clean and comfortable inside - nice and cozy Great job by the host.

We had a lovely stay, the place was clean and was as described. Check in was easy and Fergus let you check in early and late as no one else was booked in. You are staying in the town so no need for a car, lots to do in the area. Over all great place and would return

First of all, Camilla is an amazing host. Very kind, friendly, very communicative, made sure that my friend and I had everything we needed. It was such a lovely touch to find a box of fresh eggs, milk and biscuits with a lovely welcome card. The place itself was wonderful, the yurt was very cosy, the bed super comfortable, the kitchen had everything that we needed, the bathroom was very warm. It's a very well thought through place with a massive beautiful garden. I only regret we stayed there one night but I feel I will be back. I don't remember last time I felt so relaxed.. Thank you once again for this beautiful experience, Camilla! ☺️🥰

We had a lovely stay in Ganders Cottage, with two young children. The cottage was spotlessly clean, pleasant to stay in and we put the patio to good use by having breakfast there every day. We even spotted a pheasant from the garden. The kids enjoyed the cottage and it was very family friendly. We only regret not taking the time to explore the farm and walk the area. The cottage was ideally situated to explore the Jurassic Coast, and we had many lovely outings to the nearby beaches. Charlotte and Robin were great hosts, attentive yet unintrusive, kind and thoughtful. They gave us good tips before and during the stay.

booked Dave & Emma's place for my husbands 60th birthday weekend. there was 12 of us, all family with 3 children amongst the group with the youngest being 4 years old. the accommodation had everything you could wish for with the kids and adults alike all making use of the games room, bikes and kayakes. the park and beach were literally opposite the house, so was a great location and the weather was brilliant. we also made use of the hot tub, which was very popular.
