We had a great time staying here, really enjoyed everything the villa had to offer.

Nous avons passé un séjour incroyable avec nos 2 enfants. Le jardin est magnifique et la piscine avec la vue sur les champs et la vie sauvage nous manquent déjà. Il y a toujours un nouvel animal à voir. La maison est jolie et bien aménagé. L'un des plus beaux logement que j'ai vu de tout mes voyages.

Omg! What a place. Lasantha is super responsive the stay is absolutely amazing! The pool is amazing! Lasantha has maintained and carefully designed the house. Smart house actually!

We (family with a 3y old) stayed at the villa for one month and it was truly a great stay. We felt at home from the first day on when Nulush and Mudeka received us with an amazing curry. The Villa is located in a quit local area with some stores with basic stuff in walking distance. . The main bedroom with aircon is fantastic and includes a desk which is good for working. The living area is comfortable and the garden outside the villa with its lush green is always a highlight to look at, specially on rainy days. Monkeys come visit all the time, including some mongoose, warans, many birds. The outdoor shower was a highlight for me. A big Thank goes to Nilush and Mudeka and as well the owners for being always so responsive and helpful during a our stay. Nilush helped me even to organize a Tuktuk which we used during all our stay. The cooking class was a great experience as well and the food delicious. We would definitely recommend this villa.

We hadden een heel leuke tijd in Karin haar. Alles is perfect in orde en schoon! Leuk strand op wandelafstand en alles is gemakkelijk bereikbaar met de tuktuk driver. Sathish de house manager was heel vriendelijk en gemakkelijk bereikbaar bij vragen.

Anjalee's villa was spectacular, well thought out and immaculate. The landscaping was surreal! The villa came with very kind and attentive staff members and the adorable Mari the dog. Highly recommended and one of the best Airbnb's I have stayed in, without a doubt!

We had a lovely stay at Patricia’s house! Located within the fort, it is a stone’s throw from lovely restaurants as well as historic sites and the cricket ground. Patricia sent a really comprehensive list of recommendations before our stay, which were very helpful and Chandra was on hand to make us feel welcomed and looked after (including a cooked breakfast). There are three bedrooms at the property - two downstairs (two singles and a double) that are connected via a courtyard with a lovely plunge pool. The third bedroom is up a fairly steep set of stairs. Each bedroom has an en-suite. With two young children and two adults, we all opted to stay downstairs and it was plenty of space for us. Wir hatten eine absolut traumhafte Zeit in der Villa Sunnavind! Die Villa selbst ist wunderschön eingerichtet – mit viel Liebe zum Detail, stilvoll, geräumig und gleichzeitig unglaublich gemütlich. Der Pool war ein absolutes Highlight, perfekt zum Entspannen in der tropischen Wärme. Der Service war außergewöhnlich! Villa-Manager Rajesh hat sich um alles gekümmert und jeden Wunsch möglich gemacht – besser geht es wirklich nicht. Ein riesiges Dankeschön auch an Sriana und Luckmali, die jeden Morgen ein leckeres Frühstück gezaubert, das Haus in einem perfekten Zustand gehalten und uns jeden Tag so herzlich umsorgt haben. Und der Chefkoch war eine kulinarische Offenbarung – das Essen war so gut, dass wir gar nicht erst auswärts essen wollten. Ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen, Loslassen und Genießen. Wir wären am liebsten geblieben. Absolute Empfehlung – wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Just... wow! We felt truely blessed with the opportunity to stay here. The pictures really don't do the view and villa justice, it's a really remarkable find and absolutely stay here if you get the chance. Sonali and her family are wonderful people, who really made the stay. Sonali's cooking was wonderful, lots of dishes each evening that were so tasty and taking the time to go through the menu with us is really thoughtful and made sure we enjoyed everything. Lesley and Ken have truely thought of everything, there's not a single thing missing and nothing to be improved on. We went out easily on tuk tuks to visit surrounding areas, only to return to absolute bliss with a dip in the warm infinity pool. We even took a little boat ride around the lake from the dock at the end of the garden that Sonali organised for us. This place is a true gem, and we felt so lucky to be able to stay here - just try and stop us visting again!

A standout highlight was the exceptional cuisine lovingly prepared by Nayana. Each dish she created was bursting with flavour — fresh, comforting, and unforgettable. Every mealtime became a moment we looked forward to. Equally wonderful was the gracious hospitality of Ushan, who was always there with a warm smile, ready to assist with anything we needed - reservations, recommendations, or simply answering our many questions with patience and kindness. His presence made everything smooth and enjoyable. The Dragonfly Villa exceeded all expectations. Every person we encountered went out of their way to make our family trip very special. We left feeling so lucky and grateful

Amazing Stay – Highly Recommended! We had a fantastic time at this villa! The property was clean, beautifully maintained, and exactly as described in the listing. The ambiance was peaceful and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The rooms were spacious, the amenities were top-notch. Chef Sammy’s food was superb! Very accommodating and he catered to our requirement without a hesitation and Thari was so helpful and made sure that we had everything we needed throughout our stay. We would definitely love to come back and highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a perfect holiday experience!

Our stay at Wigis villa was wonderful. The villa itself is located in a perfect spot allowing you immediate access to the beach as well as the Main Street with all its cafes, shops and restaurants, on the other side. The villa is a haven of tranquility, in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the town. Inside, the house is fully equipped and very well kept. The garden was beautiful and our children had many hours of fun in the lovely pool. Lastly what really made it great was the excellent team on hand. The team prepared beautiful breakfasts each day, together with lunch and dinners on request. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We hope to be back!

Cecile has a dream place for any family to stay. From the location to the great staff, everything felt like home away from home. The great view, large pool, and staff who cooked tasty food contributed to this. If you love local Sri Lankan food, Manjula provides the best. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to any family who wants a peaceful view of Sri Lanka with the best amenities and a great staff to take care of them.

What a beautiful place. Light, airy with wonderful sea views. Nissanka and Damnika were stars. Always helpful and available. Great cooking. Easy walking everywhere. Will be back. Only slight downside was that the wifi was erratic which wasn’t great for working.

We had a great time at this beautiful villa. It’s absolutely stunning and well located to the heart of Ahangama. Tim was extremely helpful and responsive. The staff were not overhearing and left us to get on with things. The breakfasts were delicious and portions generous. One morning we had the Sri Lankan breakfast and the next the international breakfast with delicious butter milk pancakes. Dinner was also great and the chef worked hard to provide a variety as everyone ordered something different. Thanks Gamunu and co we enjoyed our time at the villa.

Stop scrolling through the reviews and just book this stay already! Everything about the Temple House was fantastic - from the decor to the amenities to the constantly cleaned pool to the villa manager and staff availability and helpfulness. Communication with Jo was a breeze. Jo was proactive and provided all the information we needed. The chef that we shared with another villa made amazing vegetarian food for our party of 4 adults. Nish the villa manager went out of his way to make us comfortable. Shashi was super duper helpful, making breakfast for all of us and staying with my grandma and infant to ensure their comfort when the rest of us were out exploring. The place was spic and span thanks to Ashanti cleaning the indoor area and the uncle outside cleaning the yard and pool. There was a short period of power outage that was handled well by Jo and the team. They had USB/ battery powered lights and fans that allowed us - especially my infant - to feel comfortable. Loved it!!!

We had the most amazing stay at Elspeth Villa in Ahangama! The villa itself is absolutely stunning – beautifully designed, serene, and surrounded by lush greenery. Every corner feels thoughtfully curated, and you can truly feel the care that went into creating such a peaceful space. Elspeth was a wonderful host, super responsive and helpful throughout our stay. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a tranquil escape with a personal touch. Surrounded by wildlife—peacocks in the trees, monkeys, chipmunks, countless birds, and even a monitor lizard that occasionally visited the pool. Nalake and Chandana were exceptional hosts, caring for us with genuine warmth—especially when we unexpectedly fell ill. Just a 10-minute tuk-tuk from beaches and restaurants, the villa offers a peaceful escape that still feels connected. The sounds of everyday life—children playing, distant construction, a nighttime chorus of dogs—add to its charm, while nature weaves in with bursts of birdsong and the low rumble of distant thunder, making it the perfect place to rest and recharge.

Very difficult to put into words how wonderful the villa is. Very easy to find, great welcome, kitchen well stocked. 3 big bedrooms; 2 with outside showers. The housekeepers really make the stay. They prepare breakfast each morning to be eaten outside by the pool. They will also cook dinner if required, which, frankly was the best food we ate in Sri Lanka. The pool is lovely and in shade. In fact I’d say the property and experience is better than described. 10 mins by the gardeners tuk tuk to Mirissa Beach and restaurants. Thank you!

Asela is a great host!!! Very hospitable and friendly, always ready to help with all issues. We lived in the villa for a whole month. The house is always very clean, cleaning every few days. Convenient location of the house, just 10 minutes by tuktuk to the sea and all the establishments. We are very happy that we ended up here I highly recommend this villa, secluded accommodation surrounded by birds and beautiful nature Also really liked Asela's restaurant, one of the best we have visited! Eliya Villa was an absolute gem. Direct beach access made every moment feel like a dream, calm, golden, and just breathtaking. The hosts were incredibly kind and always available, helping us with cooking, arranging transport, and making sure we had everything we needed. Their warmth really made the stay special. The villa was spotless, beautifully designed, and so peaceful, felt instantly relaxed and at home. Waking up to the sound of waves, sipping coffee by the beach. It was pure magic. Would definitely come back.

Words cannot describe how perfect our stay was. Sharmini was a fantastic host, even before we got there. She was quick to answer my many questions about the villa, the local area and sharing details of companies that could collect our large party of 12 from the airport. Even calling them on my behalf when they didn't respond to my messages. The photos of the villa don't do it justice. The rooms are all a fantastic size, beds and pillows comfy and the bathrooms are wonderful. The location on the beach was just perfect. We were 3 families with 6 children between 2 and 8 and we all spent our time running from beach to pool l. Idilic. But the standout feature of the villa is the fabulous and dedicated staff. Dilu, Milan and Bandu. Dilu could not do enough for us and was on hand, yet discreet. Milan! Well his cooking is easily the best I've had in Sri Lanka. He cooked breakfast, lunch and dinner for all of us every night catering for us all! Our villa stay was perfect in every way!

Mr Chamila is an excellent host and I find him to be friendlier than all other hosts that we stayed in whole of srilanka. Though the place is situated little like 1-1.5 kms inside from the beach, he came all the way down to show the way to his house, which btw is perfectly matching the description with no exaggeration. The swimming pool was fabulous, rooms with bathroom were neat/clean with amenities in kitchen etc, sad we got to stay just one day. Kids loved the place. Oh yeah, also this is the only place they have Fibernet and a seamless wifi, never in srilanka you will find that. Worth my penny !

Such a secluded and peaceful location. The rooms are huge and the pool is great. It's a perfect place to switch off and enjoy nature - we saw monkeys, chipmunks, and no end of birds, including a huge eagle that would perch in the tree above the garden. Malan and his wife looked after us well (but were never overbearing) and Malan was always on hand to run us to the beach or shops in his tuktuk. Thanks also to Andrew who was very quick to respond to any queries. This is a hidden gem at a great price.
