We stayed here for a girls weekend getaway and honestly, it couldn’t have been more perfect. The house is right by the lake, and the setting is so peaceful—it felt like the world slowed down for a few days. We even saw deer one morning while drinking coffee, and there were birds everywhere. It was like being tucked away in our own little nature retreat. The place itself was spotless and incredibly well-equipped. Everything we could’ve possibly needed was there, from kitchen supplies to cozy blankets. You can tell a lot of thought went into making this space comfortable and welcoming. Alexandro was very responsive (we couldn’t find matches to light the fire- FYI it’s in the foil drawer in the kitchen) We all left feeling rested, connected, and already dreaming of coming back. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful cabin! The place was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. The views were stunning, and we loved spending time by the fireplace and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The host was very responsive and thoughtful, making check-in smooth and stress-free. We truly felt at home and would absolutely love to come back. Highly recommended!

We stayed at this place for two nights and had a good experience overall. The cottage was modern in design and was given to us clean and tidy. However, we encountered two issues. First, the house did not have laundry detergent and paper towels, which could be easily addressed. More importantly, the cottage does not have direct access to the lake. It is located on the upper side of the road, while the lake is on the lower side. To reach the lake, you need to cross the road and go through another property. This was not what we expected based on the photos, as the road was not shown in them.

My partner and I were looking for a romantic getaway after a long summer of parenting. Nicolle’s cabin on Lac Lacroix was absolutely ideal for us in every respect. From the picture perfect calm & secluded lake, to the modern, clean & comfortable cabin, it was everything we hoped for. Reading in the hammock, having a grown up lunch on the dock overlooking the lake, and ending the day in the hot tub were highlights. If you’re looking for a getaway from the kids and the bustle of the city, I can’t think of a better choice. We will return next year. Thanks again, Nicolle!

An excellent little A-frame! A great place to get away and relax. Everything was clean, and the hottub, fireplace, and stove all ready and easy to use. Boardgames and movie projector offer fun indoor activities. The property also has enough room for short walks in the forest. It looks like they are in the process of adding additional cabins close to cabins #3 and #4.

This Airbnb was amazing, it was the perfect size for my friends and I for my boyfriends birthday. The check in was super easy and getting there was super easy. Great and peaceful area. Host always answered when we had questions. Hope we can stay there again in the summer so we can enjoy the lake.

We had a wonderful stay at Luis’s cottage. Beautiful and modern inside and the most amazing view of the lake and surrounding nature. We felt relaxed and at home right away. Luis was also very responsive and accommodating to our needs. Definitely an A+ host and will highly recommend anyone to stay here.

We had a lovely girls' trip at this beautiful cottage! The space was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The kitchen was well-stocked, making it easy to cook and enjoy meals together. The views were absolutely wonderful, and we loved taking in the scenery throughout our stay. The nearby hiking trails were a great bonus—perfect for getting outside and exploring the area. My dog also had a wonderful time! It was the perfect retreat, and we would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Nous avons adoré notre séjour au Domaine Labrador. Nous sommes une famille avec deux jeunes enfants et un petit chien. Le site nous a permis de décrocher de la routine, de se relaxer et de profiter d'un grand site très sécuritaire avec les enfants pour s'amuser dans la neige. Hélène nous a répondu rapidement à nos questions, nous a donnés des détails pertinents pour le séjour et a été très accueillante à notre arrivé. Le chalet était magnifique et très propre. Je recommende fortement cet endroit.

Parfait petit chalet pour un couple ou petite famille! J’ai toujours aimé les chalets en bois rond rustiques et vintage donc là, j’étais bien servie ! J’ai aimé qu’Andrew fasse des suivis pour s’assurer que tout va bien. Le seul truc, c’est qu’il pourrait y avoir un matelas plus confortable et mou, car nous l’avons trouvé trop dur pour nous. À part ça, je recommande à 100% ! Merci Andrew et au plaisir !

Perfect Lakeside Getaway – Highly Recommended! Our stay at Alex and Tiffany’s beautiful lakeside house near Maniwaki was absolutely incredible. The home is brand new, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully designed, making it a perfect retreat. The hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, even leaving a lovely welcome gift for our stay, which we truly appreciated. One of the best parts about this place is how close it is to everything in the city while still feeling peaceful and secluded by the lake. The views are breathtaking, and the atmosphere is perfect for relaxation. Alex and Tiffany were incredibly thoughtful, even setting up games for our younger ones, which made our stay even more enjoyable. While we visited outside of summer, I can only imagine how amazing it would be in the warmer months, with the lake right there for swimming and outdoor activities. If you’re passing through Maniwaki, I highly recommend staying here—you won’t regret it!

Guy's place was great! I'll be back. There are two other places to rent on the property, and I would say that the location of this building is the least ideal because it doesn't have a direct view overlooking the lake. This would be a big downside if you spent your time sitting inside or on the porch, we did not so it was perfect for us. One other thing is that the I found the shower tight for an adult, but if you need to wash, it'll get the job done. I spent most of my time by or on the water. Take advantage of the available water crafts that are available! I was fishing most of the time and there's a lot of fish to catch. Super comfortable and cozy cabin. Lots of room in the kitchen to get your chef on. As for the property, there's a slightly steep hill between the buildings and the water. Be careful with children or when it's damp. There IS a staircase to help you out. There's quite a bit of cottages around the lake and it could get loud. Quite a bit of motor and pontoon boats

Our long weekend at this charming cottage was nothing short of magical. The cottage itself exuded warmth and character, adorned with delightful local decorations that truly captured the essence of the area. It felt like a home away from home, with every corner telling a unique story. One of the highlights was undoubtedly the picturesque view of the lake right in front of the cottage. Waking up to the gentle sounds of nature and the sight of the tranquil waters was a truly enchanting experience. But what truly set this experience apart was the host. From the moment we arrived, they went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of perfect. Their responsiveness, kindness, and genuine hospitality made us feel incredibly welcome and valued.

Le chalet était tel que décrit. Il y avait beaucoup de matériel à notre disposition que ce soit à l’intérieur (cuisine) ou à l’extérieur (pédalo, bateau gonflable, paddleboard…). La vue sur le lac est superbes! Les hôtes ont répondu rapidement à toutes nos questions et ce sont assurés qu’on ne manquait de rien. Très beau séjour.

We felt right at home. The cottage is cozy and welcoming and the waterfront area is beautiful and peaceful. Katie is a very friendly and accommodating host. Our group would love to come back next year.

Had a lovely 2 night stay. Very clear instructions to find the place, check-in and also have a map of the property in advance. The location was peaceful along the river. Jean-Francois was easily reachable and very friendly to speak with. Property maintenance is excellent with frequent snow clearing and are nearby if needed.

Fantastic stay and accommodation’s!

The cottage is located in the perfect spot right beside the small lake with a trail around it. The surrounding area is beautiful and feels very remote and at the same time very close to the historic Wakefield. We enjoyed our stay there with our dog. Perfect for swimming, cycling and hiking. I would love to return there in the late summer or fall.

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour. Le chalet correspond à l'annonce publiée sur airbnb. L'endroit est magnifique. On ne peut pas être plus sur le bord de l'eau que ça! Peu d'embarcation sur le lac, ce qui rend le site très paisible.
