The timber for the cabin was harvested and sawed into logs in small batches within one mile of our location. This was the perfect spot for a long weekend with 3 generations. Three nice bedrooms with private baths, plus a half bath off the kitchen gave us each our own space. An open kitchen, living and dining area made it perfect for being together. We made good use of the large, eat at island with comfortable chairs. My 89 year old father-in-law especially appreciated the swivel chairs with arm rests to help him get up and down with ease. The kitchen was well stocked with nice pots and pans, but it would have been nice to have more plates and forks, so we didn’t have to wash them between each meal. The kitchens up and down are both large and clean. We brought all of our food for three days, so we had plenty of room to store stuff. My son, wife and two year old daughter were in heaven with the kayaks, row boat, paddle boat and two person paddle board. They even talked us old fogies into getting out on the water. It was a chilly weekend, so the hot tub was great too. Hope to return!
