Monthly Rentals in Wairau River

An absolute gem!! My adult daughter and her hiking friend stayed here for 4 nights whilst hiking in the Nelson Lake area. They absolutely loved it. It was so cosy and lots of room for the 2 of them. So close to hiking areas, easy parking, easy to find. Washing machine was a bonus. Rachel and David could not have been more accommodating prior to booking, during booking and after booking. Exceptional! It's hard to do justice to such a beautifully renovated cottage set in one of the most outstanding locations for natural beauty. Truly a slice of heaven! This was further enhanced by the 'above and beyond' hospitality of Alexia and Justin, who ensured we were comfortable and right at home. With the colder weather just starting, we arrived to a lovely fire that warmed the house. Next day, my husband and daughter got to milk a cow, and we then went on a very informative tour of the farm. Alexia was a 'wealth of information'. The rest of our stay was spent privately exploring the river nearby, relaxing on the lovely verandah with gorgeous views, and enjoying games by the fire. The next day, Alexia even graciously allowed us extra time to vacate as they weren't expecting new guests. We were very blessed and left knowing that we will definitely be returning. I also loved my chats with Alexia!

We had a great stay at Anna’s farm cottage. It was peaceful, comfortable, and just what we needed. Anna was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Would definitely stay again
