Louise is a fantastic host, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Louise provided clear instructions, was flexible to our arrival time, provided great local recommendations and made us feel very welcome. The location is lovely and quiet, a short drive to Napier or Hastings. The space is warm and comfortable, everything was tidy and very clean. The bed is comfortable and the space feels homely. Thank you for having us, the dogs were awesome too!

The lodge is quiet and has a stunning view of Napier. Anne's instruction was very helpful for us to find the place. Check-in was easy and flexible. The lodge is very clean and spacious. The kitchen is fully equipped. The fireplace creates a very cozy ambience at night. We had a lovely time there and highly recommend the Otatara lodge for anyone who enjoys some quiet time away from the city.
