Apartment vacation rentals in Wailuku

We stayed at Gerald and Sandy's condo for a week and loved it. We are a family of 4 with two teenagers. The condo has all the comforts of home. We followed the advice of opening the windows to take advantage of the island breeze and only needed to use the AC in the evenings. Every room has a couple of fans and a ceiling fan, which makes it very easy to keep the place at a comfortable temperature. We don't spend much time on the beach but there's a chest full of beach toys and other fun stuff that works be really helpful if we were. We realized that in the afternoons there would be people parking and walking past the condo. Then we realized they were coming to see the sunset from the beach. No need to drive for us, we just had to step out and walk a few yards to enjoy it. The location is extremely convenient with a supermarket on the same block, a shopping plaza around the corner and another a 15-minute walk away (or 5-minute drive). I'd highly recommend this condo.

You would never know form the outside, but this is truly a hidden gem! Absolutely beautiful when you walk inside, the wood is absolutely beautiful. And the host was very responsive and accommodating and allowed us to check in early! Will absolutely be back when visiting Maui!

Great place close to the beach!

We were so lucky to book this unit. We spent a week here and could not have been happier. The views are incredible. Turtle and whale sightings every day. And let’s not forget the rainbows and awesome sunsets. Just a short 10 min drive to black rock, Napili bay or Kapalua bay with good snorkeling. Was always so good to come back after a long day to have sundowners on the patio. Good coffee and restaurants close by. Don’t hesitate to book this unit. Thank you Don. Mahalo. We had a great time at Luana Kai with Leslie and crew! The place was gorgeous and clean. Had coolers , beach chairs, towels, and anything you’d want for a glorious beach day! The kitchen was immaculate with all silverware and dining ware/ cookware you could need and the best part was the beautiful sunset view from the balcony. We had an issue getting into our condo but onsite management (Vanessa) was able to rectify in minutes and ultimately had no impact on our plans for the evening! Communication was clear and concise and responsive! Pool and hot tub were clean and peaceful and have an ocean view so you don’t feel like you’re missing out on the beach. Overall, a great experience from start to finish. We would return and stay again in a heartbeat!

This rental was fantastic! It had all the creature comforts of home, and everything worked perfectly. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I slept like a baby with the plush pillows. The place offered full cable along with access to all the popular streaming apps. The kitchen was fully equipped, and the shower was great, with shampoo, body wash, and conditioner provided. It’s also in a very convenient location. The host was extremely accommodating and communicated clearly throughout, from check-in to checkout.

Excellent location! Beautiful grounds with a lovely pool and bbq area! A great place to view the spectacular sunsets! The unit is comfortable and the views do not disappoint! The bed is comfy, and there were plenty of bath towels. The beach around the corner is the perfect place to start your day with a long leisurely walk!

This was the perfect place to stay! Our family made the best memories here. We saw sea turtles right on the beach and enjoyed playing volleyball at the pool. There are daily activities for kids and rentals for beach equipment, which gave options to keep everyone busy without leaving the resort. The location is walking distance to takeout and a grocery store. The staff was welcoming as well, we would recommend 10/10.

This is our second stay booked with Priya and we will definitely be booking again! Place was amazing, just as described. Loved seeing the whales right from the pool and lawn area right by the beach. Gorgeous place and Priya is very helpful and responsive.

Great stay at the Nanea, very spacious two bedroom, especially enjoyed having access to the pools at the neighboring propertiea.

If you want to avoid the bar scene and relax in a quiet and peaceful home, this is the place for you. This is a quiet residential neighborhood with only an occasional passerby. You can see the ocean in the distance but you'll need a car to get around. Bathroom is lovely with plenty of hot water. Bed was comfy but we didn't use the hide-away couch. Plenty of room to store clothes and all of our belongings. AC was perfect and super-quiet ! Much better than a window-shaker !

Lovely space to make a home base while seeing the islands. Conveniently located next to the beach and a bunch of bars and restaurants.

Emma’s place was perfect. We absolutely loved staying there. It was so easy to get to everything we wanted to see and do, it’s quiet and peaceful at her place and she makes your stay very easy and relaxing. She’s a very responsive host and sent so many great recommendations on local places! I’m so glad we stayed at Emma’s and would again!

Dee Dee was an amazing host! She was very flexible especially when we booked and had to change our dates last minute. She was also very proactive with her communication even going as far as recommending things to do around the island. Check in was easy and the property was centrally located, clean and beautiful. It was our first time staying at a time share and I would definitely stay here again,

We arrived late, after midnight but were able to easily into our room without any issues. I normally don’t sleep well the first night anywhere, but the beds were very comfortable and it was quiet

We have stayed at Grand Champions several times and love it there. From the balcony, love watching morning golfers coming up the 2nd hole and beautiful sunsets; nice pool. This unit was great for two couples, each bedroom having a private bath. Carpeting and living room furniture were new and comfortable. Kitchen island bar stools were uncomfortable which made us miss having a good place to eat inside, not having a dining room table. Kitchen lacked enough utensils (for example, only two teaspoons), glassware and cups. Expect more than colored plastic glasses in a quality place. Went out and purchased decent mugs and glasses to use. Condo photo showed tea kettle which was not there. Two of the four balcony stools in poor condition and should be replaced. Aside from these few things which could be easily fixed by owner, the condo was great. Anke was fantastic. Mahola!

It is an amazing place to stay. Great locality and a great view from the house(especially the sunset). Good restaurants are available within gin a 5 mins drive. Hosts are amazing and very responsive.

This was a great condo to stay at for our first trip to Maui. Very quiet. Very clean. Both my husband and I remarked on how comfortable the bed is. If you want to explore the island by car you are perfectly situated. But you also have a very low key beach right in front. We walked the beach for an hour and watched the sunrise every morning. Absolutely perfect.

I had an absolutely unforgettable stay at the sky loft in Maui! The views were breathtaking—waking up to panoramic scenes of the ocean and lush green landscapes felt like a dream. The loft itself was modern, clean, and perfectly equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts were incredibly attentive, offering great local tips and ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our visit. Location-wise, it was ideal—just a short drive from beautiful beaches, delicious restaurants, and local attractions, yet still peaceful and secluded enough for ultimate relaxation. If you're looking for a place to unwind and soak up the natural beauty of Maui, this sky loft is perfect. I can't wait to come back!

We’ve enjoyed Joe’s place so much—we’ve stayed here twice! Joe has one of the more modern units in the Palms with air conditioning in each room. The lanai is a beautiful space to drink coffee and watch the sunset. After coming to Maui for more than 35 years, we highly recommend staying here.

The bathroom is very nice, with a large walk-in shower. The unit has no AC, but 2 fans, so with cool evenings, AC isn't an issue. It would be great if the unit had a 2nd window that could be used to create a cross breeze, but the layout doesn't provide for that setup. The lanai is very nice to enjoy evenings. Very convenient for early/late RTH starts/ends. The neighbors have chickens; either a hen was heartbroken or a rooster had a frog in his throat. There was crowing every couple hours over night.
