Family-friendly vacation rentals in Wagrain

The place is lovely! Great location and great chalet. Everything was really great. The only point that irritated us a bit was the check-in and check-out times. Check-in is only from 4 PM.. although we were only able to arrive later due to work, but checking out at 10 AM is quite sporty.. We didn't really have this on our radar and overslept, so I contacted the host and explained that we overslept and would only check out around 10:30 AM. At 10:25 AM a man knocks and without further words he goes into the chalet to clean the hot tub. No hello or goodbye. Of course, you would have to pay attention to the times yourself when booking, this got lost with us. Nevertheless, everything else was great and I can definitely recommend the place!

We had a wonderful time at the MandlwandLodge! It combines traditional cabin feeling with modern comfort. We had everything we need and felt right home. The place itself is made with a lot of love to detail and it was a warm welcome. The view form the apartment is amazing because the cabin surrounded by the mountains. You also can start a hike directly from the house. We're looking forward to our next stay at MandlwandLodge!

Stefan was very kind, we could call him any time when we had some problame. He tried to help us solving problames. The appartment has a perfect view for the mountains, it was in a good location. I can only recommend this appartment to everybody

We loved our stay here, as a family of 3, for a long weekend of skiing. The apartment is just the right size, with a breathtaking view. Close to the slopes and several restaurants. A huge bonus are the Spa + pool + kids pool at the Falkensteiner hotel that is connected to the building.

We had a wonderful girls weekend in this fantastic chalet! The house not only offers generous space, but is furnished with an incredible amount of love for detail. You immediately notice that everything has been thought of here – be it in the well-equipped kitchen, the cozy bedrooms or the stylish bathrooms. A very special highlight was the bathtub. We felt completely comfortable and will definitely come back! Thanks again to Steffi for the uncomplicated and great communication ☺️

Superb location, easy to find, Gertroud and her husband and very friendly and welcoming also with the two kids. They have a nice dog. Good adventures around, nice cycling routes and playgrounds. Very good place to stay with family

We had an excellent stay for a week in Salzburg. Dagmar is an excellent host and takes true care to ensure you are comfortable. She is an excellent communicator and her supply of recommendations is endless. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

This AirB&B is one of the best I have stayed in. Very clean, beautifully furnished and a spectacular garden. We enjoyed our breakfast outside, had a good egg hunt (easter) and the dog loved being outside too. Next time in Salzburg, this will be our preferred address. Highly recommended.

This was one of our peaceful short vacation , we loved everything about the Place n specially the View , we had Luck that in November it was Sunny so we could enjoy the View , Place was Neat and the Hosts were really Friendly a very positive point was the Pool which should be taken in Consideration of the opening Hours 7-11 am and from 04:00 Pm to 08:00 Pm , overall we as Family with two Kids loved the Place , it was up to our Expectations. The apartment is simply beautiful and well equipped – it really has everything you need. We felt very comfortable right from the beginning. The view is out of this world! Christiane welcomed us warmly and was always available and helpful if we needed anything. I highly recommend this apartment!

It's a beautiful, secluded place. Although it's a bit far from the city center, it's the perfect place to stay and enjoy the quiet surroundings if you have a car. We didn't have a chance to meet Tanja personally, but her daughter, Franziska, is the sweetest host. She is accommodating and knowledgeable and has excellent recommendations on what to do and where to eat. The apartment itself was spotless, with a great bathroom, a very comfortable bed, and a beautiful view of the swimming pool, which, unfortunately, we didn't have time to enjoy. If we are back in Klagenfurt, this would be our choice. Thank you for making our stay such a wonderful experience!

The place feels quite homey. We liked that it’s not a high end feel, but down to earth and comfy. Good distance to everything of interest. The kitchen had everything you would possibly need to make your own meals on a holiday.

Gregor’s farm flat was the perfect way to end our Bavarian adventures. The location felt secluded even though it was close to malls and restaurant (I highly recommend Luca’s pizza nearby). It was an easy drive into Salzburg and simple to find from the highway. The beds were cozy and the space was well-appointed. But our favorite feature by far was the generous offer to go and see the animals in the barn and feed/pet them. It was perfect for lazy mornings. Our teenager even woke up early to go see the horses, chickens, rabbits, and pigs! You won’t regret a stay at Gregor’s place.

Michael is a super responsive and helpful host, the accommodation fully reflected the description and the lake view was superb, I think we'll be back. Also for those who love skiing it is very close to the cable car and a 5-minute walk there is a skating rink and a nature reserve for those who love bird watching with beautiful specimens. The only suggestion I would like to give to Michael is about the bedroom doors that are made of transparent glass and are not the best for privacy, maybe a nice shutter could help. Extremely beautiful place and especially kind and lovely hosts who greeted us once we arrived and gave us recommendations. Their neighbour was so kind as well to help us translate as we could only communicate in english. Very clean and tidy place, had the whole second floor to ourselves with fully equipped kitchen. Large bathroom and separate toilet. Big master room which made our stay so comfortable. View was breathtaking. Away from the bustle of city life, we highly recommend all to stay here! Extremely beautiful nature and forest and lakes!
