Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Wadden Sea

We had a very nice, relaxing stay at this idyllic place to stay. The house is surrounded by a magnificent garden with many blooming trees and shrubs in a very quiet environment. Very friendly hostess and an easy-going dog. We also enjoyed the sauna, which can be booked optionally.

We were with two adults and three children for a short trip in Cuxhaven and had an all-around lovely time in the cozy cottage. We were even allowed to check in a little earlier and the communication was super friendly and uncomplicated at all times. Everything worked out for us. Here's how to make Airbnb fun! ;-)

What a wonderful stay! For the second time we have enjoyed this beautiful and cozy cottage. Everything you need is present – from a well-equipped kitchen to comfortable beds on which you sleep wonderfully. The cottage is neatly clean and really radiates warmth and coziness. Located in a charming and cozy street, it immediately feels like coming home. The host is friendly and helpful, which makes the stay even more enjoyable. Absolutely recommended – we would love to come back!

The small chapel in the middle of nowhere is an idyll, which has sweetened our short vacation. Our little daughter (2 years) was all fired up about the free-range chickens and we just enjoyed the quiet and beautiful location. Martin greeted us so warmly and his friendly manner made our arrival and stay more pleasant. We'll be back!

Wonderful weekend in Dwarsgracht, despite the rain We had a fantastic weekend in the cottage on the Dwarsgracht, despite the weather not always cooperating. The cottage was comfortable and cozy, and the location is beautiful — even with rain it is enjoyable in this area. What really made the stay special was Eva's hospitality. She was incredibly relaxed and open, even with our animal gang. We immediately felt welcome and comfortable. It's so nice when you come somewhere and find that you are not only tolerated, but really seen and appreciated. Thank you Eva, for your warmth and hospitality! We'd love to come back — hopefully with some more sun next time. 🌦️🐾

Dear Monika, dear Dieter, Thank you for letting us spend a few unforgettable days in Norden in your beautiful apartment. From booking to check-out, you felt welcome at all times. We didn't miss anything in the apartment. The location is in the residential area of Norden, but the shopping facilities and the center are easily accessible by bicycle or on foot. As a starting point for our bike tours, on the bicycles belonging to the apartment, to e.g. Greetsiel or Lütetsburg, the location is excellent. The few days with Volker were very nice. We felt right at home after being warmly welcomed by Volker. The apartment is the perfect place for a break, and we got lots of tips for nice excursions. Volker was always a helpful contact person and impeccable host. My child was able to feed Volker's chickens and collect the eggs, we were allowed to help ourselves in the spacious herb garden and pancakes were fried for us at the communal campfire. Thank you for the wonderful time! We will hopefully and gladly come back. :-)

We had a wonderful time and can highly recommend staying with Christine – especially for families with small children! Already upon arrival, we received a warm welcome. The play barn was decorated with a lot of love for detail and excellently equipped – a real paradise for our 2-year-old son. He was particularly enthusiastic about the animals, which he greeted every morning with joy. The time on the pasture was a real highlight for him, and he already misses the animal friends. The apartment also left nothing to be desired: very clean, well equipped and with everything you need for a relaxing family vacation. The large garden was a dream – with a natural pool, sauna and many play options for our little one. As parents, we were able to really switch off in between. The surroundings offer many beautiful excursion destinations, which are also easily doable with small children. We felt completely comfortable. Thanks for everything!!

We greatly enjoyed this stay. It is a beautiful cottage with fantastic views. Breakfast is perfect. Furthermore, we also experienced the contact with Jitske as very pleasant. Tips: go bubbling in the jacuzzi, rent bikes to explore the area and take a walk through the Barefoot Path! We will definitely come back 😇

We felt very comfortable at the place. The apartment is high-quality and equipped with everything you might need and more. The shower was a dream and from the huge terrace you had a direct view of the sea. The beach was practically right outside the door. Bakeries, restaurants, pedestrian zone, Netto market and much more in the immediate vicinity. Mirko was always available, very friendly and uncomplicated.

Everything is great. Apartment as described. Everything was clean and nicely decorated. Bernd gave me good tips for excursions in the area. Check-in straightforward and flexible. Gladly come back.

Jannie and Arnold were great hosts, Arnold met us when we drove in and showed us the house. They gave us tips for restaurants in the area and supplied is with everything we needed for our night stay. The place is beautiful and peaceful, 10 minutes drive from Groningen. Would recommend for a peaceful weekend away.

The Condominium is in a nice quiet part of Amsterdam, but still easy to get to city centre. Was very clean and comfortable.

Jessica and her partner were very proactive and we were greeted the minute we parked the car. They live right next door. The apartment was immaculate and the views are stunning. Also good recommendations for nearby restaurants. Thanks for the hospitality.

We had wonderful days in this apartment! Upon entering, we immediately felt comfortable – everything was sparkling clean, tastefully furnished and equipped with a lot of love for detail. The kitchen was fully equipped, the bed very comfortable and the location just perfect: quiet and very close to the sandbank for long walks and the beautiful café Strandkind for the perfect ending. Very nice and clean apartment in the center of Carolinensiel. Well equipped and nicely furnished. Shops, restaurants, café, harbor and sea within walking distance. Very friendly hosts with clear and accurate information. The check-in via key box was very convenient. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back.

Wle spent 4 nights in very clean, cozy apartment, in peaceful canal area. Away from all the noise and traffic but still very walkable. good restaurants nearby. Our host was very friendly and responsive. Great communication. Big bed very comfortable too. Would definitely recommend!

Perfectly located apartment from which you can enjoy a fantastic sunset in the evening. The beach bars are very close. The center is about a 15-minute walk. A plus is the parking space belonging to the apartment and located on the property. We can definitely recommend the stylishly furnished beach house.
