Houseboat vacation rentals in Wadden Sea

Our whole family absolutely loved the house! The scenery all around is just very beautiful.The house itself is also perfect, very spacious, bright and clean, especially the host has a good taste.Charming little nooks all over the place.We can't wait to have another chance to be here!

We had a great time in Leeuwarden. The houseboat was ideal for us as we were there primarily for fishing. We were able to fish right outside the front door and there were some good spots in the immediate vicinity.

We had a lovely time on the houseboat. Amid the birds, it's very well laid out. The road is not far but you can't hear it inside and the view of Kampen is very pretty. It's easy to walk to town. We did not meet Raoul but the organization of the arrival and departure was very smooth. We recommend it.

I thoroughly recommend a stay at this beautiful houseboat which has everything you need for a weekend city break to Amsterdam. Firstly there is car parking and access to the accommodation was straight forward with clear instructions. The houseboat itself is spacious and has everything you need to cook and self cater if you want to, dishwasher is a bonus. Local small supermarket only 5 minute walk away. The location of this houseboat is extremely good, 10 minute flat walk to the train station which takes you straight in Amsterdam central. Lots of trains per hour and we had no issues getting around. There are also bikes on site for your use which is a bonus, we cycled to the Windmills which were very pretty and definitely worth a visit. There is also a boat, we didn’t use it on this visit as we ran out of time. Anouk is a brilliant host, great communication and also left a comprehensive folder with tips of local places to eat and things to do. We will definitely be back!

Great stay at Marie Louise's! A beautiful person and an incredibly cute house on the water with everything you need next to Amsterdam accessible in 15 minutes by car (we opted for a RAI europaplein car park and we took the metro to the center of Amsterdam) unfortunately the P+R were very often inaccessible so we had to pay 35€the day of parking + the metro trips but we were waiting.. I hope to be back someday!

Great view of the water, bed was different but very comfy. Host went out of her way to add welcome sign so that was amazing. We would definitely recommend this place and would book again!

Absolutely awesome houseboat. Super-beautifully decorated - very modern - equipped with everything you need. It was sparkling clean and cozy. We felt completely comfortable and enjoyed life on the houseboat very much (a great experience). The boat includes a SUP, which we tried despite the season. In and around the boat is very quiet and yet you are almost in the middle of it - it is only a few meters to the actual place. Really great: the supermarket is right across the street. Anita and Diedert are great and very attentive hosts, whom we did not meet in person, but the communication with them went very well. We would love to come again.

We stayed on the beautiful houseboat of Rena&Heino from 12/25 to 12/28/24 and enjoyed the stay very much. It was just as beautiful as we imagined it. The houseboat is furnished/furnished with a lot of love and we didn't miss anything. We felt right at home. We will definitely be back. Then at the warmer season to be able to use the great outdoor area and the magnificent lake. The houseboat is magnificent with the great view but also in winter. Rena&Heino are great, friendly hosts and communication was excellent. Thank you for everything!

We were so lucky to be able to stay in such a beautiful place! The beds were comfy, the surroundings were peaceful and beautiful... it was a lovely escape from the busy, city-center. We LOVED the use of the kitchen and the deck just off the kitchen. Hein was so good to have bikes available for us. There is little available directly near the home but a 10 minute bike ride along the lovely road and over the bridge gets you to all you could want. We were sad to leave our Amsterdam home and will hope Hein's home is available when we return.

- [ ] This was truly the perfect place for our Amsterdam visit! The houseboat is serene, spacious, and cozy—we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Our party of three adults had plenty of space for a comfortable stay. The neighborhood is lovely, with charming bars and coffee shops, yet still so close to all the main sights. The canal is peaceful at night, which made for incredibly restful sleep. Fern is an outstanding host—welcoming, gracious, and always quick to respond. We’d book again in a heartbeat and can’t recommend this houseboat enough!

We had a wonderful time on the houseboat! The location is simply great – quiet but still close to the beach. The boat is cozy and furnished with a lot of love for detail. Especially nice: Our hostess even lent us bicycles, with which we could comfortably ride to the beach. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back. Thank you for everything!

Our stay at Claire’s place was nothing short of magical. The location is hard to beat in the heart of Jordaan, steps away from great Dutch cafes, every restaurant we ate at was within a ten minute walk, every one was fantastic. As well as minutes walk from transit. Somehow though being in the middle of everything, being on the water in this houseboat makes you feel like you’re in your own private oasis. Claire has great taste, her home is designed impeccably, with one of the major highlights being the record player, listening to classics like the Beatles, Bowie, The Doors while sitting on the back porch taking in the incredible view of the canal. Bonus was the most efficient washer dryer I used during my 3 week stay in Europe and the large dishwasher. Had we stayed longer, we would have cooked, there was a fully stocked Chefs kitchen. Thanks for the perfect end to our adventure!

Great area, very close to the Airport and 20 mins from Amsterdam. Great place for a retreat, the boat house experience was amazing and the hospitality was great. Highly recommended.

As a small family, we had a wonderful short vacation on the houseboat. Everything you needed was available. There are many possibilities to do something and that we were already allowed to use the rowboat was an absolute highlight. If we had a question, we always got an answer super fast. A very nice family, great boat. We'd come back any time.

This boat was such a treat, beautifully presented, spacious, gorgeous views amongst other boats, easy walking around central Amsterdam. The facilities within the boat were top notch, stylish upstairs living space, extremely comfortable beds, lovely bathroom (with the bonus of an upstairs toilet too). If we were there in warmer weather we would have spent more time just hanging out on the deck. Heartily recommend.

We were allowed to spend four days on the houseboat and were very excited. Super modern and friendly design. Very clean and really everything you need is just available. The children's room was also very child-friendly for our 4-year-old daughter and she felt very comfortable. Communication in advance was friendly and fast. We were very much looking forward to the days and were not disappointed. The houseboat has already been recommended and we will definitely be back.

What can I say, 🥹 it was so nice. The city is just across the street. Every morning the ducks swim past the kitchen window and not to mention the sunrise, really pure relaxation. The fireplace rounded it all off. My dog Loui and I were warmly greeted. Everything was straightforward and very relaxing. Thank🐾😎🙏 you very much

We had a fantastic stay on this charming houseboat! Everything was exactly as described and pictured—clean, cozy, and very comfortable. The surroundings were absolutely beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing. The host provided clear and detailed instructions for parking and finding the boat, which made our arrival super easy. One of the highlights for our kids was feeding the ducks right from the deck—they loved it! A truly unique and memorable experience. Highly recommended!

Annemiek and her husband were great hosts, very flexible and welcoming. Being able to use the boat and ride on the canals, especially to Leiden, was a truly unique experience. Annemiek's place is perfect for an exotic and original stay in Holland, with lots of possible activities nearby, including tulip fields.
